Have been bringing our kids here for over 8 years and Sadly today is the last day we ever come back. It was a sunday before the first day of school and I know we were going to wait longer than usual, and that's ok because all the older ladies are always super kind and attentive. I made an appt for three of my children and one of the stylist called us before someone else and I totally understand, it was a mistake. A little before that a woman came in with a man, seemed like the owners or at least the managers. She then called my son's name and I said right here, she called someone else that literally has just arrived. I told her sorry I think you didn't hear me but were here. She apologized and proceeded to tell me she already called another child. I said I know but im here and have been here before them. I also made an appt before. She said well I already called him with an unprofessional actitud, proceeded to let her know I know but were here and she simply said you can wait they will call you right now. I myself am a small business latina owner and always support others but she simply didnt care if I did business with her. I deal with customers on a daily and we live and thrive of our customers. To be treated with such unprofessionlism was awful because that's what keep ones business going. If she treated me like this and it's a kid hair place I could only imagine how she treats her staff. Very unfortunate they lost 4 local customers, do not recommend this place. There are so many others like the one we went to after were did a great job, kind, professional, cheaper and less than half the wait. read more

I made an appointment for 11am. Arrived on time and there was a sign saying they were closed for the day. I called and they stated they forgot about my appointment and didn't have enough staff to open. Getting out with kids (in my case a 2 and 3 year old) requires planning so unfortunate that we had to leave and drive to another place and wait since we didn't have an appointment elsewhere. I obviously can't speak for the work but I do recommend you check before you go that your appappointment will be honored. My search for a hair cut place in the area continues. read more

We have been taking my son to get his hair cut at kids styles since he was 1. He had a really hard time tolerating the noise of the clippers but Yuri is so patient and fast at cutting his hair. Yuri always does a great job and my son has learned to trust yuri and now sits quiet and patiently while she cuts his hair. She really knows and understands how to cut childrens hair. The owner has 2 other locations, one in azusa and one in el monte. I highly recommend anyone take their child to any of the 3 locations to get their haircut here because not everyone has the patience that yuri and her team have cutting kids hair. read more

Took my daughter in to get a haircut before school, and she received the most uneven choppy cut I've ever seen.. it breaks my heart that her hair was cut so bad, we can't even hide it in a pony tail or braid. I do not recommend this place for long hair cuts or layers. I'm heartbroken & I cry that my baby has to go to school like this. The stylist tried to hide the bad haircut by adding a half up do and using high heat on my daughter's hair without any heat protectant. I wish I could receive a refund for this but unfortunately I didn't see the extent of the damage until I brought her home and washed her hair. read more

Great spot!!! Our normal kids cut lady was gone for holiday so we tried a new spot. Place in clean and Simply. Located in a shopping center. Both ladies spoke Spanish predominately but very nice, (my spay sucks) lol. Cute cars for the kids to sit in and they do little girls haircuts And finish with braids. Lots of happy little girls. I love the environment- super kids friendly. Yuri was amazing with al of the children- some had a hard time and she was reassuring and professional. She did not struggle one bit to cut squirmy and scared children's hair. She did wonderful with my sons first haircut! We love it! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I couldn't help but notice the dusty furniture and unsanitized children's toys. Children love to mouth toys and love to share germs! My son had his haircut here today. He's been here once before and I wanted to give them another chance. But i learned my lesson and will not be going back. Once again an older woman cut his hair. This review is based on this stylist only. My son has blood behind his ear, he has patches everywhere and no clear lines or edges. This woman is also not gentle or kid friendly. Love this place, they go by appointment only. I have walked in a couple of times and was taken in.

I highly recommend this place. My grandson usually does not want to sit still for a haircut, which is why his hair was so long. Yuri was amazing with him. She was patient and talked to him so well. My 9 month old son has had 2 haircuts before the one he had today @ Kids Styles. He cried both times but this one he didn't shed a tear, sat through it and enjoyed this one more even pressing his head against the stylists clippers. Super convenient that this is about 4 min. away from our home! Reasonably priced haircut and the cut was beautifully done. This is the perfect place to take your child for their first haircut. Also great if your child is fussy, wont sit still or just plain "doesn't like" to get haircuts. They get to sit in a cool car and that usually distracts them. It also really helps to have a professional who has worked with kids do the cut. They're fast and at the same time they do a great job.
