Before and After! Loving this summer cut, thanks Maria!

We've been putting off L's haircut for a while because the last time he cried so badly at another barbershop. We visited our cousin next door at Class One Donuts and she saw L's hair getting into his eyes as he ate his breakfast croissant - & recommended we try out Little Kuts with Maria! The shop has all these toys and was so welcoming that L didn't seem scared at all. There were train tracks, cars, superheroes and TV! Maria is great at redirecting his attention every time he wanted to start crying she would pop up with a new toy to spark his interest and distract him. Maria even styled his hair with some baby gel, so cute! Thanks! We'll be back!

I'm always happy with her services and have also had my haircut by her. We will continue to be loyal customers to her and her team at Little Kuts. My son recently cut his braid off and was super happy with how she styled and cut his hair as well as my daughter. There is plenty of parking and the new appointment system works well!

I recently got a hair cut by a new stylist at another salon ***not little kuts***and unfortunately, the stylist totally messed up my hair and I was having a full blown panic attack because how bad my hair was. I have been taking my kids to Brenda to get their hair cuts and I've always been happy with her work and decided to ask her to fix my hair and I must say, I am very happy with it. I'm so glad Brenda took the time to see how to go about my hair since another stylist from a different salon messed it up pretty bad. I will continue to go to Brenda for now on and I'm so happy she was able to fix my hair!!

My husband has been taking our grandson here for several months since we moved to Glendora, we first started cutting his hair at home to get him used to the buzz cut, once we felt he was comfortable we decided he was ready to go into a shop for his cuts. I know 2 year olds don't sit still and can affect the outcome of a cut but he does pretty good while sitting there but almost every time he comes out of this shop with some sort of mess up, he has even been cut on the back of the neck once, and my husband still takes him back and pays $30+ with tip, after this last cut we have finally decided we need to move on to a new shop, sorry but we've given you guys way to many chances and money to give a decent cut, can't get it here!!!!

I've been bringing both of my boys to Little Kuts since they were about one year old, and it's been such a great experience every time. Maria and Brenda are both amazing. They're patient, know how to keep kids calm, and somehow manage to work quickly without it ever feeling rushed. My kids actually feel comfortable there, which says a lot. Scheduling is also super easy. You can book online or just call in, and it's always been smooth. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that really knows how to handle little ones. read more

I love that there is a dedicated hair salon for kids and hairstylists who knows how to cater/deal with kids! I took my daughter (3) and son (4mo) to get their first hair cut here and I loved it! Brenda was so patient even with my son crying at each appointment. I've been taking my son back 2 more times after that because his hair grows so fast, and Brenda would always know how to handle his movements and crying. His hair is never messed up because he moves! I can't do that at home for the life of me. She even gave my daughter a little prize because she was waiting patiently for little brother at his last appointment. This shop has toys and kids tv on to entertain the siblings or the ones on the chair. We will always be returning here :) read more

I recently got a hair cut by a new stylist at another salon ***not little kuts***and unfortunately, the stylist totally messed up my hair and I was having a full blown panic attack because how bad my hair was. I have been taking my kids to Brenda to get their hair cuts and I've always been happy with her work and decided to ask her to fix my hair and I must say, I am very happy with it. I'm so glad Brenda took the time to see how to go about my hair since another stylist from a different salon messed it up pretty bad. We called for a same day appointment and it was easy: the salon is very kids friendly, Emily did a fantastic job cutting my boys's hair for the first time. She has the talent to distract and be able to trim or even shave Zachary's hair. The salon was clean and kid friendly. read more

Highly recommend this place. It's totally set up to entertain the kiddos while they either get a haircut or wait to get a haircut. Toys everywhere. And while getting a haircut, they're quick to bring out some distractions to help the kiddo get through the process. Miss Brenda gave our little guy his first real haircut and she was great with him. read more

I came here once before and Brenda did a great job on my son! I came back the second time and business owner Maria took him this time, I expressed I only wanted a trim and to keep the curls he had and mainly trim near his eyes. WELP! my son got the total opposite, he got layers and a mullet and bangs! Omg! Then I left a message and got a very dismissive call from Maria! Never AGAIN! A waste of $32! read more

Seamless process from start to finish for our toddler's first haircut. Maria cut my daughter's hair and she made us feel welcome and comfortable. The cut was very fast and we received a certificate with a lock of her hair to take as a keepsake in addition to the bow she accessorized her hair with. Been taking my boys too this Little Kuts since they were small. I still take them here because when their hair gets too long they ask too go too the hair cut place with toys and tvs too watch kids movies. My boys absolutely are comfortable and know the ladies who work here. I love their friendliness and attitudes with children. They have a lizard named Dude there in which my boys are always excited too see. I have too go back soon because my son has already asked too go back! Save our chair ladies! read more

I love this place for kids haircuts. I have been taking the kids here for a number of years. Maria is awesome. She cuts my sons crazy hair and he doesn't even flinch. If you have a child that is a bit scared to get a haircut, you can not go wrong with Little Kuts in Glendora. I have also gone to their Pasadena location and Jennifer is awesome there too. However, it is much more crowded and often times it is booked. read more

Great place to bring your kids. We always enjoy coming here they have a play area for the kids to play while you wait. And they always have a kids movie playing while they're getting their haircut. While letting the kids decide who was going to go first, I encouraged them to decide quickly since the stylist was waiting, which prompted an unnecessary "Yeah, because I have another appointment after you all" as if I wasn't already assuming that would be the case. Whatever, comment brushed off and my daughter decided to go first. The cut itself was uneventful until we were asked how it looked. We had indicated we wanted it layered, which we were quoted $35 and included a shampoo and rinse... The tapering wasn't done, and she indicated it was my son's turn. When I asked about the shampoo and rinse, she insisted that she had to cut off an extra 2" of hair so it was no longer the "trim" but the "specialty cut" which didn't include the wash. But, since she was being so generous, she would only charge us the $35 "trim" price. Interesting way to try and justify removing services while acting like you're doing us a favor. Mind the fact that NO styling was done such as layering. Once my son started, my daughter started playing with the kiddy playset and made a comment about wanting to play together with him. I told her we had other errands to run and the stylist again felt the need to interject with a "Yeah I have other appointments after you." Like I get it, you booked yourself poorly to try and cram more appointments in that day after us, but that's neither our problem nor something that we need to keep being reminded of when I'm already handling the situation. Once she was "done" with my son's hair it was an absolute disaster. Not the cut we requested, not the length we requested, and no product to spike it back up. I had to insist on having her fix all these issues which, of course, prompted her to have to run out into the hall to tell the other customers who had arrived at that point that she was still working on us. Ultimately, I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of customer service, poor work, and then the bait-and-switch on my daughter's haircut to remove the wash we were promised simply because the stylist felt that taking an extra 2" off with no styling whatsoever somehow justified changing the service we were quoted. Would NOT recommend!

Know your child and do your due diligence before you choose a place for a kid's haircut, please! Some of the complaints and bad ratings seem unreasonable. This is a great place and Maria is awesome with kids! She knows all the techniques to get cooperation from the child and she asks the parents for their ideas on the styling, which she tries very hard to achieve.The 1st haircut is a big thing in our culture. We did a ceremony before, so we did our diligent research on all the kids haircut places beforehand. We talked to him about the process and we discussed expectations with him and his parents. We hated to lose his curls, but he had fine, really long and tangly hair. We did not want him to have a bad experience. He was 2 years old and very fidgety and scared. Maria sat him on my lap and got his attention with a bucket of small toys which really helped when he needed to tip his head down or sideways. She allowed us to videotape the whole thing to document this important milestone in his life. We have been back several times and the only disappointment was once when Maria was not available and we chose Jennifer. She is young and not as experienced as Maria, but hair always grows back, so no worries. We have stuck with Maria and our little man who is 5 years old now always comes out beaming and looking very handsome and styllish. About the ATM fee--use cash, it is not that much for the special care and attention. read more

My son has hair that grows really fast so I wanted to find a place that I liked because I'd be going often. I tried Sports Clips in Glendora and had the WORST experience, thought it was an isolated incident and they were just as awful the 2nd time around. My friend told me about LIttle Kuts and at first I didn't want to drive to La Verne but figured if they were good it was worth it. I've been taking my son there since he was two and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm not sure why these people have written such bad reviews because I've always found the staff to be friendly and they do a wonderful job with my son's hair. I would highly recommend taking your kids to Little Kuts and love it even more now that they've moved to Glendora. read more

Seeing all these bad reviews makes me mad because this is such a great place. Maria is a very sweet person and always does a great job with my son. He used to cry so much before but now he feels comfortable with her. People shouldn't trash people who are just trying to have a successful business in this terrible economy. Love this place! My son's first visit here and although he cried and squirmed, I was happy with the cut. It wasn't perfect, but acceptable for a two year old. The salon has a lot of toys to play with, but the area needs some organization as it can be a safety issue and toys need to be cleaned. It is a small place, but the stylist was patient and that was important to me. Price is quite high for a child's haircut, but worth it if you have a child that hates haircuts! All I can say is WOW! Maria was amazing and so quick and detailed. Normally we get "looks" when going in to hair salons, like who is going to get the short straw to cut the baby. But here was not the case. There are lots of toys to play with. She kept my 13 month old comfortable and entertained during his cut. His hair looks amazing.
