My girls loved getting their hair cut by Fritz. He just makes you feel so welcomed n at easy. My 3yr old is very frighten n uncomfortable around strangers but he was so laid back n made them feel like royalty that not only was she not nervous but excited to go next. He also played disney tunes while he cut their hair which was very thoughtful. As a whole family we are happy to have found this place to get our cuts. I also loved my cut n his willingness to schedule me in last minute i know how booked he is. So call to schedule your cut or kiddos. read more

Fritz is hands-down the best. He has so much experience, is very reasonable, and is just fun to talk to. His salon is immaculately clean and I love the fact that he is the only one in the salon so it is private. He cuts hair for our entire family. My hubby has particularly weird work hours and he is always so accommodating. read more

I am reviewing this today after myself and my daughter both came in to have our hair done by Alison. I Made the appointment and was accommodated to my preferred time and day. Once I got there I met her and showed her what I wanted & she said, "no problem" I got nothing like the picture I showed her. I wanted to be blonde again, but I'm darker than ever with a few redish highlights... exactly what I was trying to avoid. Same thing happened with my daughters hair. Only difference was my daughters hair color looks the same as it did when she got there? So weird. I gave her 2 stars because she is very nice! Makes you feel super comfortable and welcomed & my haircut is nice. But If you're going in for anything other than a subtle change. I'd go somewhere else. But for just a quick cut she'd do a good job. read more

Owner is friendly and very accommodating! A really great attribute when trying to get in for a haircut. Would highly recommend!

Fritz cut my hair beautifully! He took the time to really study my hair and discuss a haircut plan thoroughly before starting. He knew how to shape my hair so that it sits in a flattering way. He used texturing and layers. It's surprising how affordable this high-quality haircut was. I highly recommend him! read more

Hi Fritz, this is the texts I received from Nancy. From Nancy: Hello Jeanette.. thinking about you.Hope your surgery went well. Are you still coming in for a blow dry and straightening at 10:00 tomorrow?? From Nancy: If the gal councils than we could meet a bit later. Don't know why she hasn't confirmed. From Nancy: Jeanette... Sorry about that.. I sent that text above to a customer trying to get in tomorrow morning after you. My text@ 9:42 PM- From Nancy to someone else talking about me. If the gal counsels than we could meet a bit later. Don't know why she hasn't confirmed. :( Hmm I just received your 3 texts messages. From Nancy Talking about me: From Nancy: Jeanette, I told you I accidentally sent you the text meant for someone else *Look Jeanette , the text you sent me was very disrespectful. I don't think this is working out for you. Have a nice day. Nancy 5-5-From Me: I didn't respond back, however my husband did :( and then he went into the salon & spoke with Fritz. After Nancy's texts I blocked her # so I wouldn't text something I would regret. I thought we were friends. I made this hair appointment 6 weeks ago. After surgery I can't wash my hair, and cannot get water near my eyes. I would not have concealed this hair *This is a nice clean shop, Fritz is always so warm and welcoming, all ages! read more

First time here and it was awesome, I havent gotten a cut in a year and cut my own bangs which botched them completely and fritz helped me figure it all out and made a plan of action to get my hair back on point. Also that shit was only $20 AND HE TOOK ME LAST MINUTE. Bless this small business. Im so happy I chose to come here, this will for sure be my new go to hair stylist. I love the barber vibes from the Inside, it's nothing fancy but he knows what he's doing and will make u feel so welcomed. I was nervous about going to a brand name salon or an upscale one cuz they charge you up the ass and I didn't want to feel judged about my hair's split ends or the fact I cut my bangs all weird, but I was so overjoyed at how relaxed and cool he was with me about everything. I'll be back :) call and set up an appointment though he fills up quick! read more

We love Fritz! He has been cutting my daughters hair since they were just a few months old.

I was on a search to find a new hair stylist, not just anyone! Someone who understands hair. My hair is very coarse and very thick! ( I desperately needed a Color Correction & Cut ) I made an appointment to see Nancy, Fritz & Nancy greeted me with a very warm welcome. What a cute ,bright and very clean salon. I felt very calm, and at peace! I knew I was in great hands! I found my new hair stylist and salon! Nancy and Fritz, work very well together. They looked at my hair and told me what was wrong, and how Nancy was going to go about fixing my hair. The 3 of us talked about the cut ,color, how Nancy was going to start with a clean slate. We were on the same page and I agreed! Fritz said " It's going to be a shock, we need a clean canvass, but you will love it! Let me reassure you, to everyone that has had a bad haircut, many botched color weaves. You are truly in great hands with CAMPUS CUTS with Nancy and Fretz you will not be disappointed whatsoever you are in great hands Nancy took her time, Nancy worked on my hair for five hours. Bless her heart and she is meticulous, she pays attention to detail and she knows how to cut and color, weave hair. I saw Fritz clients and their hair looked amazing as well, so if you were like me in dire straits I would call this hair salon and make an appointment and restasured you are in excellent hands! I went home with the biggest smile on my face , a dance in my step." I love my hair! " when I didn't think that was possible! I cannot thank Nancy enough for working her magic on my hair! I love my cut, color, we've , my hair feels and looks amazing!! I cannot " Thank Nancy enough!" Thank you too Fritz. In beautiful down town GLENDORA! Once Again Nancy, " I love my new hair style and color and highlights are beautiful!" Nancy,You are a gift from God! Thank you, see you soon. read more

I have been a client of fritzs at campus kuts for 42 years. I used to go to chain hair cut shops. Who ever I got to do my hair most of the time they would tell me your hair would look good short or this style. I would say no thank you just trim ends. Fritz from the second time I went there would say the usual. I always got what I wanted . All I wanted was a simple trim for dry ends. I started to dye my hair when it got to gray. I have rude relatives related by marriage. When Fritz was so busy (what do you expect from the best in the west) my relatives would say what happened to your hair. Can't you afford to dye it. Does your hair dresser charge to much? This hairapists work is truely a work of art. A masterpiece to be hung up and framed. Whenever he is behind before my appointment he always apologizes. Sorry for making you wait. Don't apologize. Good things are worth the wait. Remember Jesus saved the best wine for last. Comment nice epic review. My grown daughter now has her hair cut here. She just wants a trim for her long hair. She donates it to locks of love for which Frits is a runner. He collects long hair pieces and then drops them off once a month. 3 cheers for the best Rah rah rah. That's all folks. I did not want to write this review. I did not want others to find out about the best haircutter. I wanted to keep him all for myself. Mary love's bistro read more

I'm so glad that Angela Nelson is now working out of Campus Kutz in Glendora instead of at Cal Salon. The environment at Campus Kutz is far more inviting. Fritz, the owner, is also very friendly and all the clientele is also very friendly. Angela Nelson is a great stylist! I wouldn't take my son any where else. She works by appointments only, but is very flexible with her times. Feel free to give her a call at 626-482-1489. read more

Let me start by saying I have extreme anxiety about getting my hair cut. I've never been able to find someone who's made me feel comfortable enough to be a return customer. After a very pleasant phone call I was able to come in to see Nancy for a wash, trim, and blow dry. I have very long and thick hair and they were very accommodating price-wise whereas most places will up the prices for me by at least $30. Nancy was very sweet, listened, and double checked to make sure I was comfortable with the amounts she was trimming. I left with beautiful curls (which my boyfriend said looked stunning) and not an ounce of anxiety. I will definitely be returning to and recommending Campus Kuts! read more

I highly recommend Fritz. I been his neighbor for awhile now, if I would of known how awesome he and Nancy are, I would of saved myself a lot of hair agony. Atmophere is excellent. Fritz gave me an haircut I been asking for awhile from a few stylists. I didnt even need a picture. He listened to what I was looking for. He asked a few questions and that was it. I'm incredibly picky about my hair, I dont ask for much, but when it comes to my hair i expect a decent job. Fritz went beyond that. OMG, I just love how it came out. I highly recommend this salon to anyone!!! Thk you both for your hospitality. :) read more

Campus Kuts is the best place to go if you are looking for a hair salon! And, of course Fritz is the reason why everyone flocks to his shop! My son has been going to Fritz for more than 25 years, but when you're young, it was so important to know what kind of cut was in style! Then, when he finally grew up, my son continued to go to see Fritz for great cuts and a wonderful friendship. Recently I brought a 14 year old who had never had his hair "styled" due to lack of money to Fritz. It was heart-warming to watch Fritz work his magic on building this young man's self esteem. When the haircut was complete, Fritz put the pomade in the boy's hair and showed him how to fix (style) it. The young man didn't really understand that now he is in high school, he needs to start taking care of his appearance. With once sentence from Fritz, "Here's how you will do it", the message was received! And... Fritz added as I went to pay "I'm on your team", meaning that he wasn't going to charge this young man (or me.) Whether he knew it or not, Fritz was there as this young man's advisor and support... Really "part of the team!" read more
