Also I carry a 100/300/50 insurance coverage through St Farm. What you sell at your counter is not insurance. You can't sell insurance. You need to be a certified insurance agent. And nobody in your office is. You sell optional coverage. Illinois law states you cannot refuse a rental because they can't prove they have insurance. Car rental companies must provide a 50/100/50 secondary liability coverage. You have a program through Ford and Mercedes. Every vehicle owner in the world has that. If I breakdown in your vehicle in another state, you will tell me tow it to the dealer. While we are waiting for parts, I have no vehicle. My $7,000.00 vacation ruined. Now with Major car rental companies in all states, they would get me another vehicle. Wow! Recliners! 60 inch TV! Refreshments! That's because you vehicles aren't ready when customers with reservations show up. So you provide that while they wait. I prefer in and out when picking up rental. Not hanging.

After some back and forth it really sounds like this business model is make or break on which dealership the car is coming from. The plan was to arrive in Chicago at O´Hare Airport and then proceed to an off-site parking lot to pick up the car. He said he would not charge me extra for leaving the vehicle near the airport. Well, thanks to a massive screw-up on the part of American Airlines, it took me 60 hours of horrific traveling to finally arrive in Chicago. During this nightmare I kept Jacek informed of my travel problems. When I finally arrived at 2 AM and picked up the spotlessly clean car, Jacek had arranged perfectly. When I arrived at my motel 2 hours later, I noticed that one of the headlights had burned out on the way. Jacek told me not a problem - to get it fixed, and he would take care of it. And he did. The rest of the trip was uneventful. I drove this rental for over 2 weeks in the Chicagoland area as well as the Northwoods of Wisconsin. When the day came to return the car, Jacek offered to pay for my Uber trip to the airport. I politely declined, as he had gone to great lengths at the beginning of my trip to make sure that the car would be waiting for me close to the airport. I am originally from the Chicago area, and return on a regular basis. Renting a car at O´Hare airport can be a nightmare. It really is incredibly cheap compared to many other moving truck rental companies throughout the area. Additionally, the guy was very nice and made sure to do a thorough check of the vehicle before my husband drove it away from them. I get that all rental companies do this, but I liked this guy's swag so I am saying he did a better job. Any questions we had regarding the vehicle or the process itself were answered kindly and quickly, so there was no concern that we were going to have an issue when the time came to return it to its location. We definitely would recommend utilizing this run-down place if you can!
