I arrive at 8:15 and the woman at the counter says "oh dang I was just about to call you about your 8am reservation, we don't have any cars. Sorry we won't have any until noon." At this point, this whole experience is a disaster. Just refund me and cancel. "Sorry you prepaid, so you have to call Avis because we can't cancel..." I spend 10 minutes calling Avis, navigating the robot menu, and finally get through to a human who was kind enough to help me get cancelled and refunded. If they wouldn't refund me I'd say it's borderline criminal. Wasted $50 in Ubers and missed my appointments for the day. Stay away.
