The manager of the location kept trying to deflect the fact that someone screwed up on their end. I worked with Quintin, he is very polite and easy to work with. The car I originally wanted was booked up, he made it easy to transition to a different vehicle for the same price. I rented a car from this place. When I went for the rental, they didnt have the car. I was offered a different vehicle yet wouldn't accept my debit or cash. I had to go home and get my credit card. When I got back to the place, he gave that car to someone else. This is unacceptable, I booked this rental 2 weeks in advance. I had a vacation which I just can't change. I had to cancel my vacation because of Enterprise. I asked the gentlemen for his name, and he refused to give it to me. He refused to give me a place where I can file a complaint. Unacceptable. I rented a 2019 charger from this place. I was given one key fob and a key that was missing the fob (see pictures). While my car was parked over night at my place someone went into my trunk and stole all my belongings. No windows were broken, no damage to the trunk or car at all which leads me to believe someone used a key to get in the car. When I voiced my concern to the manager (or so he said he was the manager, I spoke to him over the phone) he denied that any of his employees would do this type of thing. He got offended instead of inquiring and finding out if someone at this place is doing his customers wrong. I even called the customer support and they didn't really care. I got a rental from them when my car was in the shop. They charged me a 23$ fee and 3.90 for 4 tolls. The fee was because they rented me a car with Tennessee plates!!! How is this my fault. It was equipped with an I Pass that I shifted down to use. No where on the device did it say anything about an additional fee. When I call the lady was not really nice. She dropped the fee to like eight bucks but with attitude. Will not be renting from enterprise again. read more

Worst place I've ever been. My car was being repaired and my insurance set a reservation for a luxury vehicle at this location. The auto body place called them and they picked me up. When I get there they said they were closing. I told them I have a reservation and why would they pick me up (the guy who picked me up was nice) if they were closing and couldn't rent me a car. One worker started sighing really loud and saying OH MY GOD! The lady told me I can have a mini van. I told them no I don't need a mini van the guy sighs again and says WOW! They offered me another car that I didn't like. I told them I pay my insurance extra money to rent a luxury car incase of rental needs cause I drive a luxury car the guy sighs again and say something smart and disrespectful again he did this a couple of times. I told them I'll come back Monday and trade up whatever car I take. She says fine. The guy that was sighing says he's leaving and the lady says I'm supposed to be leaving to I'm supposed to pick up my mom from the airport looks at me and says if I ever get out of here. She then tells she's going to give me a Nissan Sentra. I'm not a fan of Nissan so I ask if I can pick something else. She told me no she already locked up the keys and I have to take this car cause the keys for it wasn't locked up. Already feeling disrespected and unwanted there I say fine. The car was filthy like disccusting dirty. I called enterprise and told them what happened there's more but I'm trying to be brief. I've rented many cars from different places over the last 2 years, including other enterprise locations, and I've never run into this before: the guy said they wouldn't rent me the car I had reserved because I had an out of state license and I didn't have a major credit card. MasterCard is not a major credit card? This is news to me. Apathetic employee offered zero solutions. This place was so bad I didn't even end up renting a car from them. The manager there seems to be useless but I guess what he lacks in problem solving skills he more then makes up for in rudeness. The customer service for this company is an absolute joke, when I called the customer service line I was told a district manager would get back to me Monday or Tuesday. Please keep in mind the rental was supposed to be for a Friday during regular business hours. Bottom line is when you tell someone you'll pick them up to get a rental then do so and if you're running late call them. A customer shouldn't have to hound you down when this is a service you advertise. Also when your customer service dept. doesn't know the company policy regarding child safety seats then who does. Terrific and professional customer service and an award winning staff-if you need to rent a car, look no further than this Enterprise location. I did my reservation online, and rented a minivan. I was called a day prior to pickup to confirm my reservation-and when the phone rang, I thought, "Oh no, something's wrong!" Such was not the case. On the morning of pickup, I arrived a little early but my van was there, filled with gas and ready to go. I was in the office a total of 6 minutes and on my way to my vacation. The service was good and the price fair for the first weekend I rented a car, but when I attempted to sign up for the following weekend the price went up from $21.99 a day to $34.99 a day. The rate was the same on line. I found another rental agency that charged $13.00 a day. It was not as convenient as this location, but for the price it was great. Today was a very cold day in Chicago history, I've been going to this place for about 3yrs about 3-4times a year as they have a contract with Marino Jeep, today out of all days my Jeep broke down on me, I dropped it off At the service department at Marino's and enterprised picked me up, as soon as I arrive a gentleman is kind and starts to help me, just to later tell me I'm in the DO NOT RENT A CAR LIST, I didn't even know this existed until today. That was the only explanation he could provide along with an 847 corporate phone number, I call corporate and they literally told me to call "another number" and the lady on the phone tells me to call another department and literally gives same 846 phone number I had dialed without any further information. The gentlemen on the desk has given up on my situation, but not Alma she is the true MVP, she saw I was in distress and I needed a car specially with the Polar vortex making our weather colder than Antarctica! Alma looked my info up and called her manager, before I knew it I was getting a car and it's all because of her!! I couldn't thank you enough, wish everyone had your customer service skills!! Usually impressed by Enterprise service and vehicles, but this time was not the case. I picked up a car for a week on Friday and noticed the tire pressure warning light was on. Mentioned this and was told it'll go off when the tires warm up. Come Sunday, I find a flat tire and a screw in the tire itself. Called roadside assistance since all offices are closed Sunday, was left with the impression they'd be fixing the tire, but no, just putting on the spare, which I could have done in less time and money. At least the Enterprise in Anderson, South Carolina had their act together and got me set up with a replacement car for a few days. Picked up the original car for our return, and randomly, the airbag service warning light came on multiple times, as well as odd tire pressure fluctuations, on a different tire. I've never had this level of mechanical issue with a car from Enterprise, and was then charged full price plus the idiotic roadside 'assistance' charge for something I could have done myself had they given me the option. Any other time, I've had good luck but this one was not the case. Don't let them rush you out the door without checking your car over thoroughly. read more

They gave away the car we reserved and checked out ahead of time, inflated our bill and charged us for insurance we didn't need. Last car I got was dirty inside, I found a potato chip & a french fry in the car after I pulled out of the lot. I think when I said I was a Mom of 4 kids, they assumed I would trash it and didn't mind a messy car to begin with. I recently had to rent a car due to my vehicle being the shop getting repair. I am not impressed with how they maintain the vehicles at this location. I am an automotive tech and saw a bunch of stuff that was not maintain properly. I actually had to fix the washer nozzle on the driver side because it didn't work found that out the hard way while in a snow storm and couldn't clear the driver side of the window while driving. Had to repair a flat tire while I had it. Tire tread was very low. They were also 3,000 miles over there next oil change. Poor maintenance is a sad thing to see on vehicles that you rent out to people that are unsafe. What would of happened if you rented out that vehicle to someone and they blew up the motor because you guys are "LAZY" and "NEGLIGENT" due to being low on oil and not getting a simple oil change. Not impressed and will not being renting a vehicle from you again. read more
