I purchased a 2017 Kia Soul from this location 11/09/18. My prior car wasn't going to last much…read morelonger, so after having to have the front brakes serviced & getting a long list of other repairs that I "should really address" I started researching what my next car was going to be. My sales coordinator was Rose, she was a joy to work with, as were Tim & Tim, the 2 gentlemen who assisted with the financing. All 3 of them are very personable, customer oriented & know their stuff. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction, everything was thoroughly explained. The monthly payment was a little more than I wanted to pay, but for what I got, it's well worth it. I loved the fact that I didn't need to haggle to get a great price, the price you see on the website is the price that you pay, but keep in mind that's before all taxes, fees, & any extras that you want are added on. For the test drive, I took the car to my mechanic, who checked the car out thoroughly, the car passed with flying colors, with a couple of minor issues that were addressed before I drove off the lot. I can honestly say that in all my years of buying cars, this was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience that I've ever had. I highly recommend Hertz Schaumburg.

There are pluses and minuses. By far the best car buying experience we have had. Super simple…read moreprocess, very fair prices and super nice staff. However as we were told by our sales rep they only have 1 guy who does the finances. This causes a huge backup if there is literally anyone else there trying to buy a car. We were there from 9:30am to 2:30pm. While buying a car is a process, it's not a 5 hour process. Esp since there is no haggling involved and we had the car we wanted picked out. By the time we were able to sign our contract we were already in a huge hurry So we had to rush the most important part of the whole thing. We carved out 3 hours, were fine with 4, then started to get annoyed and anxious at 5 We also noticed an interior light wasn't working during our test drive. The sales rep mentioned they would have someone swap it out but by the time we left it was still out. Either they forgot, or somehow in 5 hours had no time to swap out an interior lightbulb. They did end up changing it a few days later though We would defiantly go back and recommend to friends. Just make sure to bring lunch haha

Short version: Lousy customer service. Long version:…read more During my search for a used Honda CR-V, Kashif Riaz had a posting on Facebook Marketplace. On Monday evening, I messaged Kashif about its availability and viewing the car the next day. Since the lot is nearby my work, I decided to check it out at lunchtime. First impression--a residential property converted into a used auto lot. I had to pull into a one lane j shaped clearing without a discernible parking area for customers. Since the lot was filled with vehicles on all sides but the clearing, I parked at the spot where I figured I could do a safe 16 point turn to get me out. The "office" building is an old house with no signage instructing customers where to enter. A man saw me from the big window but didn't move from his spot nor wave to me nor motion to where I should enter. It's as if he wasn't interested in me at all. Once I got up on the porch to what looked like the entrance, I had to choose between two doors. I opted for the right door since there were people inside it. But, that door wouldn't open so I went back towards the left door. The man sitting right next to the right door opened it so I went back to it and stepped inside. I told the man behind the desk l wanted to check out the lavender Honda CR-V and pointed to it through the window behind him. He told me he had a customer buying it right now and looked at the man who opened the door for me. I assumed he was the customer or maybe it was the lady filling out paperwork at the table on the other side of the room? A third man mentioned that they had another CR-V available, a 2007. I mentioned I was looking for something newer, walked away disappointed, and carefully maneuvered my car around to get out of their lot. Later that evening, I saw the red 2007 on Marketplace and messaged the post if it was available and if they had a Carfax report. It went to Kashif, and, as of the following Friday, I have received no response. Continuing my search, I noticed the lavender CR-V is on Marketplace. Thinking that maybe the deal fell through, I messaged the posting of its availability. Kashif responded, "I have just sold it I have another 2007 Honda CR-V available". I think, ok, it has sold, so I respond, "You need to remove the 2010 from the marketplace." Thinking, but unsaid, so that it will stop coming up in my search. Kashif responds, "I just sold it the customer is sitting next to me." That's what was said on Tuesday when I walked into their house office. Hmmm...curious?...the exact same wording. I responded, "I came in to look at it several days ago. Supposedly you had a customer in the office buying it then. So, which is the lie that you had someone buying it on Tuesday or customer sitting next to you today?" Sure, Tuesday's deal could have gone bad & they had another buyer, but that's not what my gut tells me. I suspect they are using the 2010 CR-V as bait, to lure customers in. But what followed was the kicker, Kashif then proceeded to attack me --calling me bored, needing therapy, and crazy. (See the screenshot photo) (Definitely not bored. Yes, I need therapy but not because a used car salesman lied. Crazy? It's questionable. I own it when it's true. I'm not owning it now!) Point is...you don't treat a customer this way EVER. This crazy lady is taking her cash elsewhere and giving you a 0 star (oh I wish I could) Yelp review.
