We finally tried Enterprise, since we were again renting a car from them. We were lucky enough to talk to Johnathan when we first got there. He was knowledgeable as to their stock and showed us three SUV's that had all we wanted but were reasonably priced. I thought they were all great looking cars, clean and well maintained and relatively low mileage for rental cars. We took a test drive in the one that I liked. We couldn't decide so we thought we would come back another day. We went to lunch and over lunch we picked the one we liked the best and then went right back to purchase the vehicle. The process was not only no hassle but the car was exactly what we wanted. This was to be a vehicle for me and I had had leather seats and loved them. Guess what? Enterprise can re-cover the seats! We were able to get heated leather seats and Lo Jack installed. Also we have a free 3 month subscription of Sirius XM. We had to wait a few days but it wasn't long. We didn't finance the car so I can't say how well that goes but our purchase experience was the easiest and most enjoyable. Isaac made the paper work go smoothly. I would recommend Enterprise Car Sales for good customer service as well as a large selection of newer cars at really good prices. The whole experience was easy and actually enjoyable. We love our 2017 Jeep Cherokee and I wish we could have purchased all three of the vehicles we looked at but I have to wait until we win the lottery.

Nine days after the sale, I received a FedEx packet from the dealership instructing me to take the title to the DMV and complete the registration myself. To clarify the situation, I contacted the DMV--and the representative informed me that I owe nearly $3,000 in excise tax, title fees, and registration costs. This was the first time I became aware of any additional charges. When I reached out to the dealership to understand what happened, their explanations completely contradicted the written record of our negotiations. I have detailed documentation showing that every conversation was based on the price being a fully inclusive, out-the-door (OTD) total. At no point before or during the sale was I told that I would be responsible for thousands of dollars in taxes and fees. Between November 3-10, I sent six emails requesting assistance: from the General Sales Manager, Tye Lee, to McGrath Imports' corporate director of client relations, Melissa Hansen Kann. I have not received a single email response from anyone at McGrath Acura or McGrath Imports. I chose an Acura dealership with a well-known family name behind it because I assumed a corporate group with 12 locations would spare me the sleazy used-car salesman experience. What I expected was transparency and professionalism. What I got was a complete lack of accountability. This has been the most dishonest and frustrating sales experience I've ever had. I paid for a true out-the-door price, only to be left with thousands in unexpected charges and no support whatsoever when I sought answers. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection agencies. Avoid this dealership at all costs.

I saw the car on cars.com and emailed the dealer. They get back to me and I ask for an out the door price as I was paying cash no financing. Car was listed at 24,500. Daniela sends me a link and the price came out to 27k per their website(including tax title license etc..). I figured I'll get there and maybe negotiate it down to 26 or 26500. 2023 hrv btw. Finally find time to get there within a week of initial contact, and was greeted by Tracy. Again, she was not part of anything that happened previously and was very helpful. We test drive the car and all was good to go..until she told me the OTD price was 31,000! Their online sales rep left out all the extra fees they charge and seeing a 7k markup on a prelude while waiting in showroom should've been a huge red flag. Online sales rep lured us to the dealer in hopes that I'll be stupid enough to pay close to 5k over what I was initially told. 3k cpo fee, 2k PDI fee which was conveniently left out from the online sales rep Daniela. Horrible business practice. Tracy did try to get the number down but we were way too far apart in price. A staunch reminder of why I do not shop in the city for cars and will never do it again.     Scammers. Listed prices are deceptive due to a number of factors. A $999 processing fee to recoup…read moretheir expenses rehabbing the car from its previous owner. They also attach $1695.00 for the installation of a tracking device. Salesman August presented the tracking device as an optional benefit during his sales pitch for their prepaid maintenance scam*, the full term of which cost $1695 as well. Other fees attached that are apparently common practice at ALL 60 Victory owned dealerships across the country. When we pushed back on the inclusion of the two $1695 up charges, they were willing to remove the prepaid maintenance. When pushed about the tracking device, August asked if we could see any benefit to the device. When we said, "No," August got a blank look on his face, and then repeated his question. We were still "no," which just lead to another blank look and another ask about seeing the benefit. They were willing to reduce the cost of the tracking device down to $699, which they claim is their cost. It took roughly a minute for August to discuss with his manager and return with that offer, so apparently we're not the first to wonder about it. The manager would later come out, and attempt to budge me from my budget. I set a hard top, and the manager, maybe named Peter, kept coming down, and ignoring our concerns about the tracking device. We finally just left, saying we were sorry for wasting their time. About 15 minutes after we left, I got a call from a number that my phone reported was a Chicago masked number, which I ignored because I was driving. It was a voice mail that started, "Hello (my name), this is Peter Gabriel..." and I got skeptical but excited as a huge Peter Gabriel fan. ;-). But he continued, "From Victory Honda. ... I was just calling to let you know I was able to get you down to the (price) that you're looking at I did some maneuvers and give you more money for your trade somebody able to do that for you if you found that the best deal please come back and get the car would like to own your business again I did it for (price) like you asked for thank you and have a wonderful night my phone number is ..." Apparently, these tactics are common across all Victory dealerships. Nitrogen tire fills for Toyotas that have no need, "Optional" tracking devices universally preinstalled, inflated tire lock pricing, passing their costs as additional costs instead of quoting accurate prices on their website.
