It's been a while since we bought out first car here but ended up going back to trade it in for a bigger car. The first time Ty our sales guy was super nice and helpful. It took us a while to find the right car but found the one. We went with a small sedan and my 6'2 tall husband didn't fit very well. We went upgrade and went with a Nissan Altima Alma helped us this time and she was very helpful and with covid they followed all the rules! I also had to go back with my two month old and get our second key. He was hungry and another women that worked there lent me a small blanket to feed hiM as I had forgotten. Mom brain. I can't say enough good things about our experience purchasing a vehicle at Enterprise. Normally I am very concerned with the purchase of a car that is not new, direct from the dealer. We had heard friends mention buying through Enterprise worked well for them. We now say the same! The cars looked good and the sales process was easy, no pressure and transparent. We were given a Car Fax - and told they didn't put anything on the lot that had more than $1500 damage. Vehicles on the lot are between 50,000 and 70,000 miles and come with a 12 month warranty. We decided to purchase the additional 36 month warranty (covers some different things). The price is not negotiable but there is some wiggle room on the trade in - they give you Blue Book value. But the real shout out is to a phenomenal sales person - Kaylin. She listened to what we wanted and didn't waste our time with things that won't work. I will NEVER purchase a car from enterprise. I've only had this car for a yr and a half and has had so many issues. 2 months in had to replace the battery. Month later brakes needed to be fixed. Over a year span in the winter time the windows fog up so bad you cant see through them. I've called numerous of times to ask what can be done theyre no help They basically tell you in so many words once the car is off the lot it's no longer they're responsibility. I'll start off this review by disclaiming that I did not purchase a car here. I came here as one of my first stops when I began car shopping and even though I decided on a vehicle elsewhere, I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received at this location. The least I can do is leave a review to encourage other's to give them their business even if I didn't. I was upfront with Mike that I had my heart pretty much set on a MINI, however, Enterprise only had a couple listed and both were out of my price range. Mike brought Josh over who took the time to show me his own MINI and talk with me about the make and models even though they were aware that it was unlikely I would purchase a vehicle through them. Both associates encouraged me to buy a car that I truly wanted even if it meant going elsewhere. Though salesmen here do not work on typical commission, but on a per car basis, it was refreshing to not feel like I was being pressured to make a purchase that wasn't best for me. He questioned me about my driving habits and needs, as well as my budget limits. Michael then showed me a number of cars within my price range. I was not pressured to buy a vehicle which did not meet my criteria. Also, I received great service from Joe and Gabe, the sales managers. Each explained my financing options, as well as service packages available. And, I received a more than a fair price for my trade-in. (I checked Edmunds.com for my car's value). Overall, it was a fine experience. The no-haggle pricing is mostly accurate, except it does not take into account the "documentation fee" or the tax. It would be useful to see everything possible on the initial car window sticker. As far as the documentation fee, it would be less necessary, and the process would be more accurate, if we were able to enter our own application information into a user computer--as it was, it took a very long time for them to enter our information from our applications, and my name was misspelled on the printed documents and then scratched out and penned back in. The sales guys were great and very knowledgeable, especially Joshua, who previously had a Toyota background (the brand we were buying). Our experience with the management/financial staff was less impressive. Apparently, they had trouble getting our proof of residency to be accepted by our loan provider (initially we provided a PDF of our Geico bill). 1.5 weeks later, we were called in the middle of the work day, asking us for immediate proof of residency that day, when we had had no knowledge it was missing to start with, as we thought we had provided it on the day we purchased the car. Complicating this was that we'd just moved, so did not yet have our new bills (we were only 17 days into a new apartment/billing cycle). It worked out and I was able to get PDFs from online bill providers, but it felt unnecessarily chaotic and left a negative impression over the process. The car itself is as promised and great, so I'm happy with the end result but would have preferred a more seamless process (this location seemed pretty short-staffed) for the business aspect of buying a car. read more

So, we had been debating about replacing my little red 2001 Mazda for a while...and upon the recommendation of a family member who has bought used cars from Enterprise in Florida we thought we'd give it a try. I could not believe how easy the process was! We got $500 above bluebook (a deal they are running until 8/31/09) and a fair trade-in (how often do you get to say that?!) AND we got a very nice 2008 Hyundai Elantra for a decent price. When we got back, we were still using the rental to drive all over Chicagoland to shop for a new car. Someone tried to sell us a junk car, which wouldn't start after we drove it off the lot. The people were nice sadly the car I bought was a dud. 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan has to be taken to get air in tires after 2 weeks of getting it then AC stoped working so had to go to VW dealer to fix (warranty covered). It was the inconvenience of dealing with long waits at dealer after having car for only 4-5 weeks with issues already. Then barely 3 months in the EPC light came on and car dies a few times. So back at the dealer wasting my time all these issues within 3 months of getting a car from Enterprise. Not sure I will buy there again nor get VW after this. read more

We have needed another car for several years but we couldn't find a car both of us could agree on. My husband wanted a good price and low mileage and I wanted an SUV for safety and because they are cool! We finally tried Enterprise, since we were again renting a car from them. We were lucky enough to talk to Johnathan when we first got there. He was knowledgeable as to their stock and showed us three SUV's that had all we wanted but were reasonably priced. I thought they were all great looking cars, clean and well maintained and relatively low mileage for rental cars. We took a test drive in the one that I liked. We couldn't decide so we thought we would come back another day. We went to lunch and over lunch we picked the one we liked the best and then went right back to purchase the vehicle. The process was not only no hassle but the car was exactly what we wanted. This was to be a vehicle for me and I had had leather seats and loved them. Guess what? Enterprise can re-cover the seats! We were able to get heated leather seats and Lo Jack installed. Also we have a free 3 month subscription of Sirius XM. We had to wait a few days but it wasn't long. We didn't finance the car so I can't say how well that goes but our purchase experience was the easiest and most enjoyable. Isaac made the paper work go smoothly. I would recommend Enterprise Car Sales for good customer service as well as a large selection of newer cars at really good prices. The whole experience was easy and actually enjoyable. I called enterprise asking about one of the cars I saw online. I spoke to Melissa on the phone and she reassured me that the car was for me as I was hesitant to sell my Jeep today. I went to go look at the Ford Fusion. As I showed up to Enterprise, Melissa was there to assist me. She gave me a run down of the car and let me test drive it. During this entire process she was extremely nice and made the process easy. There were no complications and I ended up getting the car the day of. I will start by saying everyone who worked there was AMAZING AND FRIENDLY, that is where the good experience stopped First I purchased a 2014 Ford Fiesta, within 2 days the car started having problems and I had to take it into the Ford dealership. They found 3 things wrong with the car, a bad clutch, the windshield sipping was coming off and the back hatch was cracked. They said this was all easy things to noticed and should of been by their " 109 point inspection " . Enterprise let me return the car without the $200 fee, which wasn't exactly bending over backwards in my opinion. I traded in the car for a 2014 Toyota Yaris, I had to take the car in for an inspection since it is required for my job. I did not pass as it needed a new belt, fortunately it was under warranty so I didn't have to pay but is was again something the inspector said should of been easy to notice and replaced before being sold to me!! 2 cars in less than 2 weeks different inspection failed and said should of been noticed by Enterprise I did reach out to Enterprise on their Twitter account for both cars and they did respond quickly that someone would reach out to me, however nobody ever did, so in my opinion their customer service is as poor as their inspection. The worst part was since I use my car for work I could not drive for almost 2 weeks, losing around $3,000. Like I said, the sales people where amazing and deserve a 5 but my over all experience was pretty poor since I ended up losing income because of the poor inspection. read more

I'm gonna title this "How I Made/Saved THOUSANDS By Not Dealing With Enterprise On My Trade-In". Read on... I bought a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor from Enterprise a few years ago and when I recently brought it back to them to get it appraised & see what I could get for it, after waiting for over an hour, although the car was in good condition except for some scratches on 3 of the rims, they only appraised it at $6,000. I owed about $5300 on it, so they were only going to pay me about $700 for it. I'd already done my homework and knew that the Blue Book for it in its condition was $10K. When I asked the salesman about the $4K difference, he said that's all they'd be able to get for it at an auction. I left and went online to see what people were asking for used Endeavors - I found 2 that were in excellent condition, same year as mine, one for $12K and one for $15K. After further research at Edmonds.com, I saw somewhere in one of the articles linked to their site to consider checking out Car Max instead of dealing with a regular car salesman if you don't want to go through the hassle of selling it yourself. I checked some reviews for Car Max (I live near McCormick Place) and the closest one to me was in Oak Lawn. So after a few days I decided to go to see what they had to say. (I do not work for or have any friends or relatives that work there). The salesman's name was Hassan Rayan, a straight-up nice guy (I couldn't believe it, and was waiting for him to come back with an offer close to Enterprise's). Would you believe they appraised my car at EXACTLY what I found online: $10,000!? Less the payoff amount, I WALKED OUT WITH A CHECK FOR OVER $4700! ALL IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES!!! $4700.00 versus Enterprise's $700. You do the math. I'd actually planned that if they at least offered 1 or 2K I'd go home and probably come back in a couple of days to close the deal, but I was so happy, I actually walked for about 2 blocks in shock before realizing I hadn't planned on how I was gonna get home! I ended up taking a cab. By the way, the 2 stars for Enterprise is because when I originally bought the car from them, it was a pleasant experience, and it was a good car. But guess where I'm buying my next car!!!!???? (Again, everything above is TRUE, I have absolutely no connection with Car Max, am not getting paid or compensated in any way for this - that was my first time ever dealing with them). I did not want white car, so the sales person drove to another Enterprise and got me exact car, but in silver. One year later still love the car and it is everything I could hope for. I did not end up buying a car here (I opted for a new car instead) but in the future I would recommend it to anyone. The staff was great. They were knowledgeable and courteous and the inventory was always changing so if you have the time you can have quite a broad number of vehicles to chose from. You have the option of seeing their entire network of cars from across the country but you will pay a shipping fee to get them to your location. However, don't think the no-haggle option means that you don't have to do your homework. Research the car you want, compare options, mileage, models, and financing. The salesmen are still salesmen and I did feel "urged" to make designs I was not ready to make and the numbers seemed to change from the initial discussions to the final offers. But it was still one of the better car shopping experiences I have had. read more

I was having major anxiety about the idea of purchasing a new car. Not so much the actual purchase but all the crap you have to go through with traditional dealerships. I actually preferred going to the dentist rather than deal with the car buying experience.I did not want the hassle of making a deal and having the sales person go to "speak to their manager" about the deal and then trying to up sale me on a bunch of crap I was not interested in. Enterprise Car Sales was recommended to me by a friend who assured me that I would not have to deal with a lot of nonsense. I was told that the list price was the price cut and dry no haggling. I looked at a few cars online that were in the price range I wanted and called and made an appointment to go check them out. On my way to the location I was talking to my daughter and told her where I was headed and what I wanted she in turn looked at the sight and found a car that I had missed. I told my sales person about the car, he called the location that had it and had it brought in for me to test drive and the rest is history. The car is sitting outside of my house and I couldn't be happier. I purchased a 2013 with less than 11,000 miles, immaculate interior and exterior. The car was a lease vehicle and was obviously well cared for and not driven very often. This was the most pleasant car buying experience for me ever. This was my second car that I bought from Enterprise Car Sales on Western Ave, My first car I got was five years ago, and no problems what so ever with the exception someone decided not to stop and kill my 2009 Kia Spectra... So I was forced into buying another new car... But I knew right where to go Enterprise Car Sales...because I know they Pre- Certify Every Car that they sell ( 109 point inspection ). I noticed right away that the 2014 KIA Forte that I was looking at had new tires. I asked the salesman ( Brandon ) and he said.. when they certify these cars if their is, what they consider to much wear a new set of tires is installed. .What more could you ask for. To let you know how much confidence I have in Enterprise, my wife and I went to look at the cars on Saturday the week before in the pouring rain. Which probably most people wont do, as you cant see much of any imperfections in the paint job etc. But I know how they are so it was a piece of cake. I got pre -approved the week before for the credit, so that takes some time off once you are ready to do this... Mark the store manager recognized me after five years, that's pretty good as I am sure he meets and greets a lot of customers.. I knew I wanted a rental car since I was more concerned about maintenance upkeep (like oil changes) than miles. I also wanted all the bells and whistles--no manual locks for me. I went to both Hertz and Enterprise and ultimately decided on Enterprise and am very happy with my choice. Enterprise is more expensive than Hertz, but I trust them more since they have an A on BBB ratings compared to Hertz's F. The customer service is phenomenal. I cannot thank Charlie and Josh enough for their customer service and their help when I bought my car. I'm new to the whole building credit and buying cars so I went in with a slight hope of getting approved to buy a car. When heading into the appointment, the only goal I had was to find a vehicle within my price range and to see if I would be apple to finance a vehicle. Charlie asked about what I needed in a vehicle, what was important, the color, the payments- he really listened to what I wanted. He picked my brain a little because I didn't have a preference in a vehicle so the little desires and features were essential. I gave him my plans on how to pay for the car and which brands I would like. He narrowed down the options to 3 (which was perfect because I'm terrible with multiple options). Finally I choose a vehicle that I needed to take home. (Charlie was excited and I was excited!) Josh worked endlessly for me to drive this vehicle off the lot that day. He may have had to change a few numbers a couple times but he made sure I was driving this vehicle off the lot that day. Also, the explanation of the process and paperwork was made very clear by both Josh and Charlie. All in all, I have NEVER received such amazing customer service in my life! Just had the worse experience with car salesman Mike via the phone. He was not patient with me, over the phone, as I was looking for clariity regarding information given to me from two previous salesmen from this past wknd, Megan and Isaac that was different from what they initially told me. Who, by the way, were exceptional in customer service. Mike was very condescending and sarcastic while speaking to me and I understand he has a job to do. Sell. I get it. I am in sales, but it seemed as though when he found out I could not put down put down what was asked, our conversation needed to end. Very disappointing when I just rented a vehicle last wknd and had such a great experience with the rental side and gave Enterprise and that location a great review.
