Had a great experience with these guys from the moment I stepped into the door. Both salesmen I talked to were great and explained everything in great detail with zero bs. Got a great car with a low rate financing and clearly differentiated themselves from other dealerships. I flew to Chicago from Colorado on April 9, 2025 to purchase a 2017 Golf R in good faith based on their ads stating every mechanical part was inspected and determined in "Good" condition. Auto Park claims on cars.com that all their vehicles are fully inspected and are in "great condition." Fifty miles out of Chicago, the gas gauge and AC didn't work. The day after arriving in Colorado, the engine light came on. A highly respected foreign car service Shop in Boulder did the Diagnostics for $364, the repairs needed were $3,192. Auto Park refused. They sent me a non-VW fuel pump assembly and compressor and said to take it to another Shop who they claimed would install the parts for a labor charge of $973, which Auto Park would only pay 50%. I objected to having to pay anything. The Shop they recommended repaired the vehicle for $2,872. So, along with the original diagnostics of $364 plus the repairs of $2,872, I was out $3,192. They refused again, and made a final offer of $1500, or I return the car to Chicago at my expense (yeah, I laughed, too) as long as it was in the "same condition" (LOL) they would refund the purchase amount. This is the way they do business. I'm out over 3K. I would never recommend this Dealer. Terrible experience. Please note that I would like to add to my submission regarding Auto Park Imports. I Initially had high hopes for this place. They replaced the valve cover gaskets on my 2012 Audi A6 3.0 in a very timely manner the FIRST time. I ended up having to come back 3 times for the valve covers to stop leaking. After the 3rd time I got an engine lean code right after. I knew better than to take it back to this place if they can't even install valve cover gaskets correctly. I returned back home to go over anything they may have messed with when taking the valve covers on/off and everything was plugged back in besides the coolant temp sensor so I was about to take the valve covers off by myself until I realized 2 of the 8 bolts holding the passanger side valve cover on were loose, after torquing the bolts down to spec the lean code disappeared. All in all way too much of a headache for such a simple job. Would have been better off doing it myself money/time wise. read more

Excellent service, I keep coming back when I'm in the area. So far, they have installed a different transmission for me here, about 6 moths later I needed a rack and opinion replaced. They did that with superb results. And previously they have also fixed my ignition switch, replaced my steering lock that I have broken, changed the Oil multiple times that I have been here, performed diagnostics and more that I cannot remember all off hand. I am a happily returning customer. 12/21/16 I'm back here again to get my DPF filter regenerated and my transmission serviced. read more

Online only purchase, bought from out of state. Communication was excellent, until I purchased the car. Following transfer of funds, the car arrived without any notice (despite me reaching out several times to confirm delivery). I received a text from a strange number stating they had my car and would arrive shortly. Car arrived in good shape, although missing a plastic piece of the mirror (after I reached out, the dealership offered to reimburse me for this part). I took the car in for a look through since I wasn't local. A few servicing items were needed after only driving the vehicle 400 miles. Auto Park refused to reimburse me for the items, stating that the dealership "was trying to make money off of me". In retrospect, they told me I should have reviewed the Carfax for servicing details. Love the car, disappointed with the service. Given communication challenges, I would hesitate to recommend purchasing from this dealership out of state. read more

Fraudulently selling unsafe vehicles. Stay away! $6500 worth of systemic problems on a $20k car. We found Auto Park on ebay searching for Mercedes Sprinter vans. Chicago is not far from St Louis, so our credit union cut a check and I went up to get it. Their "Bosch Certified" and "Carfax Advatange" signs everywhere instilled confidence in dealing with an out-of-state dealer -- I would be willing to bet at this time they are not actually accredited, and if they are they shouldn't be . Within a week of driving home, there were shifting issues, then the radiator light came on. I called them and they said they would be happy to look at it. Well, this meant another 10 hour round trip. We are good sports, and decided to just take a Chicago weekend. On the way there, the dashboard began looking like a pinball machine, with two more lights coming on. They said there was a hose that they needed to replace, and then charged us $100 for a "regeneration cycle" (this didn't fix anything, in the long run it just adds insult to injury). One of the lights on the dash was tire pressure. I guess they added air, but the tires were actually unsafe to drive on, as one blew on our way home. Within a couple weeks, again, shifting issues. Then, one morning it started shifting very hard, and I was unable to accelerate past 40 mph. As I soon learned it went into "limp mode" (only 30% throttle), and the check engine light came on again. We had a local Mercedes dealer look at the van, and the entire emissions and exhaust system needs to be rebuilt. Soot is caked throughout, all the way to the exhaust pipe. The rear end had been rebuilt, and repairs were done incorrectly to the exhaust system. Another point of note is that Nash, the salesperson, said they did all the maintenance for the life of this vehicle. Well I waited a few weeks after having my car to write a review. I found the car that I wanted online and called Auto Park. The salesman walked me through everything over the phone and after a few easy question I was on my way to owning a great car at a great price. First thing I needed to do was book a flight to Chicago from Vermont. Once I arrived at the airport in Chicago Auto Park was there to pick me up. Knowing I had a long drive back to Vermont the team at Auto Park had me on my way in under two hours including my test drive. Buyer Beware! I started off with Auto Park in a fairly favorable manner, purchasing a Mercedes E500 4matic. My sales person, Nash, worked with me and I got the car at a reasonable price. However, after a week the suspension on the right side of the car collapsed. Brought the car back to Auto Park and although I had owned the car for only a week I was charged $450.00 for the suspension part - I was not charged for the labor. When I asked how I could have this problem so soon after taking the car, I was told that I must have hit a pothole - I had NOT hit a pothole. Within two weeks, the suspension on the left side collapsed. After paying to have the car towed to Auto Park, I was again charged $450.00 to replace the suspension. Again I was told that it was my fault (somehow). At no point did Auto Park admit any responsibility for selling me a car with problems. A month later after driving the car daily I went out of town for a week. When I returned, the car was completely collapsed on all four wheels. Auto Park picked up the car. After a few days I was told that to fix it would be ANOTHER $500.00. I told them to just let me come and get the car. You can imagine my surprise when, after I arrived to pick up the car, I was charged $150.00 for the tow. On top of all of these problems, now the car needs a new EGR valve which is another $450.00. I have owned the car for less than 3 months. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. They will tell you what you want to hear during the sales process, but forget any support if you have a problem. read more
