Could've swore I left a review for Salata already. I eat here so often. I typically order through the app and pick my salad up from their designated pick up area. Ya know, typical introverted millennial style. The service is always great however. 9 times out of 10 they greet me with a friendly "hello" as I'm walking in. It's always very clean and bright inside this Salata. I basically see this as the suburban Sweet Green and I'm so thankful for it. They have so many great options for someone who isn't the biggest fan of bread or sugar and loves fresh veggies. If you do want some bread, their croissants are delicious. They used to have this white bean soup that was SO good as well. For my drink. I LOVE their cinnamon plum tea and they have several tea, lemon and limeade options. read more

Super place for a nutritious meal! Pro tip: the small is as good as a large salad. I love all the protein choices and usually get more than one dressing. It's so fun to customize your meal! Service is all behind the counter and consistently great. The special teas are a great treat to drink. The dining room is clean and comfortable. You'll leave full but not stuffed. I love Salata and am glad that there is one on the east side of town. If I'm craving a salad or am in need of a veggie fix, it's my go to. It's pretty pricey so I don't go as often as I would like to, but with fresh ingredients, it's to be expected. I typically get a salad, but every so often I'll get a wrap. Both are delicious. I wish that turkey and quinoa weren't considered "premium protein" options. I believe premium protein is $4.25. I like that they have ingredients that you may not find at other places like cilantro and bean sprouts. They used to have alfalfa sprouts, but I haven't seen that in quite some time. I like that they dice the tomatoes and cucumbers. A few years ago, they would slice them in large chunks which I didn't love. The staff at this location is nice enough (though I feel the staff at the location on the west side of town is more friendly). They forgot my pita chips one time though which was annoying. I love the pita chips with my salad! I'm not sure if they still sell bottled salad dressing but at one point, they sold 12 oz. bottles. My favorite is the Fresh Herb Vinaigrette. The Caesar dressing is okay. The Lemon Vinaigrette is good too. I need to try some of the other ones like the Ginger Lime Vinaigrette, but I'm such a creature of habit so I tend to stick with things that I like. They sell gift cards which are kept in the back. They have a rewards program on their app so don't forget to scan your barcode if you're ordering in store. You can of course order ahead, but I've found that it seems to be faster to just go and order in person. read more

They sell salads. They don't really salata things. Just salads. In fact they Sellalata salads. A hell ofalata salads. This is a brand-new Salata and we tried it fairly soon after it opened, and then again recently. Both times the salad was just okay. Not as large as the portions at some of our favourite locations and not quite as friendly - but not bad. We would definitely come back, as it wasn't the worst we've been to, but it also wasn't one of the best either. As I've said before - I really love this chain. (That's what my gf said when I imprisoned her in the kitchen, close enough to the stove to make food). They have changed the game for me. (Like Tom Brady when he's 28 points down with 3 seconds left or whatever he will similarly do every Sunday all Autumn long). Now I'm able to eat delicious salad (and toss delicious salad) for a fairly cheap price (or free since I got these muscles) and get somewhat full off of it (and I'm not the only one that gets full, hi girls) even though it's not as large (I mean, who is, hi boys) as my beloved Salad Extravaganza which closed down. Use to love this place but the service at the Pearland Pkwy location is horrible now and please don't place an online order because if it says it supposed to be ready at a certain time it will be ready 20 mins after that time. There are a lot of new ppl working at this location that have no idea what they are doing. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:30 but wasn't ready til almost one and I had to log back in for work as this was the sole purpose of ordering online. I will definitely be finding me another location because this is not it! Not to mention when I came last week they only had one person working. This unacceptable for the prices they charge. Delicious! Had the most amazing salad ever. My only complaint is I ordered this online and asked for bacon pieces and plastic ware. I didn't get either. Also I am told that it either comes with pita chips or a croissant, but the only option under "bread option" was "no bread." Other than that it was great! read more

They finally opened up one of my favorite chains on this side of Pearland! Wooh wooh! So happy I can stop here on my way to class at U of H or after. I came here and realized it was their grand opening day. It took a while to move through the 30+ people in line waiting for their salads and probably just at excited as I was. They had a lot of help and great service. The line flowed nicely and all the food was being constantly restocked. In case you don't know this place, I'll break it down really quick.... Great salads and wraps! Jk they offer a variety of lettuce selections, tons of veggies to choose from, multiple selections of fruit toppings, dressings (love the buttermilk ranch and spicy chipotle ranch), proteins like different marinated chicken, turkey, seafood mix, shrimp, salon, and so much more. Basically this turns into a huge delicious bowl of scrumptiousness that makes my belly so happy. If you've never tried it and it sounds like your kind of food, then you need to come here. read more

It's a Salata. You get with this one what you expect from the brand. I went for lunch around 11:40 on a weekday and the line was non-existent so the experience went quickly. The offerings were the usual set with an additional trial topping of kalamata olives, which I loved! My only few issues were that the young man who made my salad was too distracted chatting with other employees to pay attention. So he skipped a few toppings that I had to repeat. The amount of dressing he put on drown my salad so badly that I could barely taste anything but the dressing. And the bowl smelled a bit like cleaning product! There's not much to say because it's just a salad bar and slightly overpriced in my opinion. But it's the best way to get a simple salad made how you want it. When I have the option, I prefer to just order and customize with Panera next door for slightly more money but with a tastier and bigger salad. Salata is just nothing special. read more

I first discovered Salata in the Downtown Houston Tunnels and I am so glad I have one literally 5 minutes away from home! I've been anticipating their opening and I finally got a chance to stop by yesterday. The customer service was great, all the toppings were so fresh and I loved the little outdoor seating area! Even though I sat outside I had an employee step out and ask me if there was anything I needed which I thought was really nice. I totally didn't expect that because I know from experience that if you usually sit outside you will be forgotten.. but NOPE not here! So disappointed in this location. This is my second try and my last. I asked for a wrap and they filled it half full. I had a ton of tortilla and 3 cubes of chicken (literally). Look at this picture...I've never had a such little salad and ingredients ever in all my visits to other Salatas. I raised my concern to the workers that were there and they looked at me without a clue what to do. I asked them if every wrap is this small and they said "we use minimal ingredients". I've been to this location several times and have had 'ok' experience the last time I came here was last week and I got very sick after. I have an allergy to iceberg lettuce and feel that's what was wrong with me. But when I called and asked about their lettuce offerings and was told there is no way they would have served me iceberg lettuce I figure something else I ate there must have made me sick. I go to Salata at least 6 times a month. I love the salad itself. However customer service is horrid if an adult manager is not present up front. At night and weekends the young kids are rude and involved in their own conversations. This particular one is ALWAYS dirty. Tables and floors. It is always 15 degrees below zero. Salata is some what overpriced for the quantity you get. I got a small salad bowl which cost $8. The lady that worked there put only a minuscule amount of each item I picked. I will say they do have a lot of options to choose from, however, I do like to get my money's worth. In terms of flavor and taste, it's good but it's a salad there isn't much you need to make it delicious. For my dressing, I picked the spicy chipotle ranch which was palatable. Overall, I could buy all the items myself at the grocery store and have enough to make a salad each day for a week and it would cost me less than $20 as oppose to going there everyday. This is an update to my last review. I had a much better experience, that was more consistent to past experiences at Salata. I had the pleasure of observing staff who were considerably more attentive to the customers. Staff member, Anabelle, was amicable with my children. Other staff were quickly turning tables and tidying up anything left by exiting customers. I had the opportunity to speak with the manager, Patrick, about my past review and the improvements that he organized. It was obvious he takes pride in the performance of his restaurant and his staff. The quality of the food was fresh and they were not lacking for availability of anything.
