Slow. Long wait. I was on the wait list, checked in and waited. Wait time said 25 - 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting I asked what the hold up was. I was a party of one! I was seated immediately. Make it make sense... annoyed and hangry I was told that there would be a wait for food because the kitchen was backed up. Ok. Tables that were seated after me got their food before me. I get my food and need ketchup, 3 tables including my own have a bottle of ketchup with nothing in them. I spent 2 hours of my life in a breakfast place that moved in slow motion. Food was not worth it. It was ok but not worth the time nor the cost. read more

This experience was disappointing. The space is nice enough and more voluminous than Webster location. My server was nice enough but she did not know anything. Like she had started working there today. Every question I asked required a trip somewhere to consult someone. They were pretty easy question: Do you have thousand island dressing? (BTW they do not). Is the ranch dressing made on site? (The answer is no and it's not great commercial dressing). The service at the Webster location is terrible too so maybe they need to implement some proper training systems. The food: I ordered a half sandwich and Cobb salad. I started with a Bloody Mary and typically it's good. The bacon was as limp as a spaghetti noodle and the carafe was room temperature. The food came and the ham and Gruyère melt was truly unremarkable. The Gruyère had no personality, the brioche bread was under-grilled. The salad was a mass of spring mix. The toppings were all sliced so thin as to maximize coverage. It's a stingy Cobb salad that has *at most* 1/4 of an avocado, 1/3 of a boiled egg and less than a tablespoon of chopped tomato. This restaurant has rampant food waste... you can see when the tables are bussed that they throw away mountains of food. So why then is my Cobb salad so sad? All this cost $24 before tip. I don't see myself going back to this location. read more

I have eaten at many First Watch restaurants. This was my favorite. Everything was delicious. I had the Works Omelette. The service was excellent. A couple of things needed to be corrected, it was handled quickly and graciously. My waiter Brian was attentive and pleasant. The manager Milton was a delight. He took care of everything that I wanted and had me laughing in the process. I was traveling with my sister and we chose to visit this First Watch. Food is always pretty good and I like that they have gluten-free options. But the service is always terrible. I've probably been here about 10 times and every single time that service is terrible. It's been a few years since we tried this location, and despite the negative experience the first time, felt it was time to check-in and see if there has been an improvement. So glad we did. It certainly was a better experience this time around. Staff was friendly, food was served in a reasonable time, hot and tasty. I decided to go with a seasonal dish and ordered The TRAILBLAZER BOWL (Hand-pulled roasted turkey, house-roasted sweet potatoes, cage-free scrambled eggs, lemon tahini arugula, fresh avocado with superseed crunch and fresh herbs). If you like breakfast hashes/bowls, this was a good one. I have tried many takes on this type of breakfast bowls, but never had one with roasted turkey so I was not sure if I would like it - well, I loved it! If you like breakfast hashes, and you like these particular ingredients, it is worth a try; you too might find a new favorite. My mom and I are huge breakfast fans and we love first watch! The location is close by to us so we try to make it here when we can. Weekends are usually crowded but with great food and service it's worth the wait. We went today and our server Stephen. M greeted us at the door and sat us immediately. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and my mom got the trifecta. The millionaire bacon is awesome and compliments the meal nicely. Food was great and came out at a reasonable time. Stephen was awesome ! Food was ok, customer service--Not good. I got there right at 2:09 my order said it would be ready for pick up at 2:09, I ordered my food at 1:58 pm. I walked up to the front desk and the first girl said they were still working on it, another girl took over the desk and called out to me while I was sitting waiting for my order. It had been 10 minutes since the last girl told me they were still working on it. I told that 2nd girl my name and she looked back at the other to go orders, (orders the first girl examined which I knew were not mine) she then looked away without saying anything to me and didn't seem like she was trying to locate my order. Both girls ended up leaving as they close at 2:30. It was 2:29 at this point and I realized I had been waiting over 20 minutes, no one had brought out any to go orders and those other orders where picked up by other customers, and I looked towards the back, a bunch of kitchen workers and severs laughing away while I was still waiting for my order. So many people walked past me and went to check on dinning in customers but no one bothered to see what I needed. I had to call over a random worker since no one had checked in with me since those 2 girls somewhat helped me, I kept looking towards see if any worker was preparing a To go order, but again nothing, just the kitchen laughing and servers standing around drinking beverages. The guy I called, came to tell me my meal was half done, they burned some of my food and are "NOW remaking it", it is 2:39, 30 minutes I was waiting--by the time I got home I knew some of my food was going to be cold. Only the dish they burned was warm, everything else was cold. No communication and no urgency to check on people waiting. I had to call someone to help me. Today there were three ppl up Front and there was a older lady out of the three who went to grab my order. She has a extremely bad attitude, was upset that I wanted strawberry jelly instead of the grape that she put in the bag. Then when I thanked her she mumbled something under her breath. We went with a big group of friends. The waitress was awesome and very attentive despite the large party. We got the Purple Haze lemonade which was so pretty & refreshing. I got the Trifecta with pancakes, scrambled eggs & turkey sausage. My husband got the Market Veg Omelette & our daughter got a kid pancake with scrambled eggs which was still a huge portion! All was yummy! Our daughter was upset after losing her sticker in the bathroom but the waitress went out her way to give her a First Watch pancake tattoo to cheer her up. This is one of my favorite brunch places to go to that has a great portion for a reasonable price. The inside is very cute and gives a homey farmhouse vibe. I love coming here to catch up with a friend. A MUST get is the million dollar bacon. It's a great appetizer to get to share. The flavor is so sweet yet savory. The bacon pieces are thick and is cooked to a reasonable amount of crispy. Some of my favorite dishes that I've tried and have gotten multiple times: -farmhouse skillet hash -smoked salmon eggs benedict -pesto chicken quinoa bowl Everything tastes so fresh and I always leave here extremely full. Great food, some not so great service, some pretty good service. Walked in alone and was seated at a good spot, table for two only, under the lights, and as a thin, quiet guy wearing school Tshirt and slacks, it was warmer. Very considerate. Was asked promptly to move as a group of teachers wanted to sit together. Being a teacher myself, I obliged. I went over to the new, colder table for two beside a man loudly arguing with his phone, which was blasting TikToks. Two teenagers were then given my spot as the teachers moved to a whole different part of the restaurant and I was forced to move again to an area even further under the AC under the restaurant that runs cold. Thankfully the server who took my order was considerate and earning of a tip, but the hostess not giving a flip bumps a 4 down to a 3. The time getting the food out was not great either, as I had an 1:20 for lunch and it took 40 min to get Eggs Benedict out. The food was pretty great, hence the beginning score of a 4. I imagine during down times, not between 9-12 in the morning, this is a 4.5 restaurant. I hope this helps, and First Watch can applaud their servers and make sure hosts and hostesses are on the same page with seating and don't mislead those they seat. read more

Always leave this restaurant completely with a satisfied full stomach! You cannot go wrong with any of their dishes that they offer. It was my first time trying the biscuits and gravy... And I was definitely not disappointed! I love me a good BLT, but having it with egg made it that much better! It was delicious and I hope that this dish is permanently on the menu because I think this will be my go to every time! If I could not be a millionaire today I definitely wanted the Millionaires' Bacon. I walked in and I must say the place had a fresh and inviting look. The staff team was upbeat and taking care of their customers. The kitchen area from what I was able to see was clean; the restroom and hallways clean.. I am feeling good. My server Shannon was great. She had a row of customers and did not miss a beat. If I were starting a resturant -she would be one of my top 5 hires. I was in the area looking to eat somewhere on a Sunday morning after running errands and saw this place, since my first visit I brought my family with me the next time and everyone enjoyed their meals. Soo much food for what you pay (very affordable I'd say) and on top of that you can just see and taste how fresh their products are! Anddd excellent customer service! I'll start by saying my husband dislikes brunch. I drag him to place after place because I loves me some brunch. He's a trooper, and he goes with me, but he usually ends up looking for the menu items that are the least amount of brunchiness. I felt like he'd like it here because they do have options that are good for lunch. We went for an anniversary brunch and it took both of us several minutes to decide what we wanted because so many things sounded good. Even my husband said he couldn't decide. I got the cinnamon chip pancake which is a seasonal item. It was delicious! It's obviously only good to get if you really like cinnamon, but it's a great choice if you do. The pancakes are really big, and just one is completely satisfying. My hubby got the biscuits and gravy, which were really tasty. We also shared the million dollar bacon which is ALWAYS worth getting. My husband said we would definitely be going back because there were several things he wanted to try. Another Covid era review. Had breakfast here at the beginning of the Covid Apocalypse. It was wonderful. Decided to hit it again. Upon entering it was no where as festive or upbeat inside as I remembered it. The aura was just drab and bleak. Did not wait long for a table. Once seated we used our bar code scanners to look at the menu. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with an orange juice. My wife ordered one blueberry pancake and a coffee. Now down to nitty gritty. Something has definitely gone wrong. From our waiter delivering the wrong food to the food itself subpar. The biscuits were very dry and then topped with a badly congealed turkey gravy. The plate was served with a hash potatoes that were evidently mixed with burned as well as not cooked all the way potatoes. A hard, very hard scrambled egg was also served. Honestly, I did not enjoy a single bite and to top it all off, the orange juice was sour. My wife's blueberry pancake was just "ok". Nothing special but was served with a strange strawberry compote or jam. The actual syrup bottle was not delivered to the table until she was actually done eating. Her cup of coffee was lukewarm at best. Listen, good food, especially breakfast is too easy. Extremely disappointed. 2 stars for a clean restaurant. read more
