Cute place. Lots of construction for the parking lot but it's only temporary, despite that it is still annoying (4/24/26). They have banh mi, desserts, baked goods, coffees, and matcha. The variety of specialty drinks is intriguing.. there's Vietnamese coffee where it has egg, ube Vietnamese coffee, and others. The matcha is pretty standard with strawberry and a few other variations. I tried the egg Vietnamese coffee it was strong and tasty, very sweet. I also tried the banh mi croissant which was cold cut meats(pork) and had pork floss. I don't think that was for me the croissant wasn't a traditional one but a softer version and I think it just has too much pork for my taste. However; it was cut and put together nicely. The service was nice the lady at the register was able to help me select a drink to try.
Egg coffee was delicious!!! Coffee is strong with the egg balances it out nicely. Brown sugar waffle - delicious but it was quite tiny for the price Pork floss waffle - probably my favorite of the food items I got. The pork tasted fresh and the butter on top was the perfect balance. Again, I do wish it was a bit bigger though Summer rolls - the Jicama (I think) was a nice touch in it. It gave it a nice crunch. Space was really cute, but I felt some people just used chairs for their items instead of allowing people to sit. Not the cafe's fault, but there should be signs that says something like "seats are for people, not items"
Not so good of an experience anymore. I come here very often and the drinks have been inconsistent, sometimes too sweet, too much vanilla syrup, or have absolutely no taste at all. The shop is not even that busy anymore probably because of the inconsistency. They're currently doing a Giveaway for Christmas where if you spend $25+ and leave a 5-star review, you'll get a tote bag or a tumbler. I bought some drinks and food in the early morning and spent $30, but they didn't mention the giveaway at all. We asked about the tote bag and they said it's for big orders only, sure? False advertisement. Also service has went down as well, they take forever making drinks even though there is no customers at the moment.
Matcha was very good. $8-9 dollars is expensive. I wouldn't come here often. Service was quick and cashier was in the middle of a small rush so kinda plain interaction. Quick to get to the next customer. I think this place is small. I wouldn't want to come study here unless I got here early.
Great place to get matcha in Houston! Love the puree and matcha. Purse was on the sweeter side. Crowded but big spot with lots of parking. I highly recommend and would come back!
Matcha was delicious, I asked for it not too sweet so they did 25%. Spanish Latte & Honey Lavender Latte, I added an extra shot. Honey Lavender Latte was on the sweeter side but it was good.
Mille Cafe is a great cafe located in Friendswood, Tx. They have plenty of items on their menu. After the few times I've visited the cafe, their matcha and coffee are to die for. They have unique flavors like black sesame & cookies & cream. There is also a lot of Vietnamese street foods. They have a parking lot in the front. There is a decent amount of seating, but on the weekends it may be a bit more crowded so finding a seat will be difficult. The interior is very cute and well thought out. Lots of photo-ops. I've tried their blueberry matcha, Vietnamese egg coffee, matcha with sea salt foam, and the cookies n cream matcha. I personally don't like getting fruit flavored matchas because it overpowers the matcha flavor, but surprisingly it isn't overpowering at all. Definitely a cafe I would come back to.
I have always been a fan of Mille Cafe but unfortunately I had a bad experience with their matcha this time. I remember getting the matcha latte the first time and being amazed by it. I got the same matcha latte with vanilla sweetener this time but I noticed that the matcha seemed grainy. It was indeed grainy and made it very difficult to enjoy my drink. I have to stir my drink before every sip to reduce the grainy taste of it. My friend got a matcha latte as well but theirs was perfectly normal and not like this at all. I guess it was just an error of whoever made my drink. I'm just glad that my friend enjoyed their drink
Improve by actually giving people what they pay for. Ive had multiple times the cup wasn't filled to the top. As you can see in this picture I haven't even taken a sip and the cup is filled 3/4s. Inexcusable. One time I had a very nice lady at the front who took care of the problem.
I loved the black sesame matcha it was so good!! Usually when I get black sesame drinks or flavored things in general the other flavors easily overpowers the black sesame or the other way around but this was such a good balance between the matcha and the black sesame where I could taste both and they complimented each other well. The space was big with a lot of seating but also it was almost full. We were able to find a table but it was pretty full when we went.

Anyway, to the point, the cashiers were so funny, they were lowkey goobers in the best way. I ordered a strawberry normal milk matchat with strawberries and normal milk and 50% sweat in it. It was good but it started raining (outside) when I left. I would go again and perhaps I'll get employed now. Thank you to all my supporters, follow the yelp for more, j dawg out.
My friend suggested Mille to go study and said that they had the BEST matcha. Coming here, it did not disappoint. It is a Vietnamese cafe with both drinks and food/ snack options. The vibe in here is very homey and warm toned with the orangish brown wood. The server was so nice and recommended different drinks. I have gotten both the cookies and cream matcha and the regular matcha latte (not pictured). The cookies and cream foam by itself was 9/10 so sweet, had the exact flavor and was thick. When mixed together, it made the texture of the matcha a bit grainy but the flavor was good 7/10 together. But the matcha latte itself. WOW. 10/10. It was sweet but not overly sweet, the texture was buttery smooth and the matcha flavor was not diluted. Studying here is good too because of their seating and free wifi. I highly recommend checking this place out.
I didn't expect much when my husband and I decided to get our afternoon coffee here but I heard great things about this place on social media. I actually love their coffee and I do recommend coming here if you are in the area. I ordered the iced ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) and it just had the right amount of caffeine I needed to tackle the rest of my day. They also serve other specialty drinks and food so I'll definitely try that if I'm in the area next time. This cafe has cute decor and it can get packed so just be mindful if you are planning on hanging out for a little bit inside. It's inside the baybrook mall plaza so parking was plenty and not an issue. Overall, definitely check this place out if you are in the area.
Decided to give Mille Cafe a second try a year later. & I can still say it's the best matcha I've had in Houston. The strawberry matcha is really good, the strawberry flavor is there but it doesn't overpower the matcha. The location itself is still PACKED. It was a Saturday evening and it was busy as ever. The employees this time around were nicer and no one ignored us. I wish it wasn't so far, hopefully one day they open up more locations. read more
My niece just moved into the area so naturally we went to go look for a good cafe. This was a cute spot with lots of seating and bright lighting. The young lady taking our order was just passing for friendly. The rest of the staff was young and sort of loud and unprofessional while making orders. I usually don't care, have fun at work, but it was a bit off putting. The drinks were good. We ordered matchas, coffees, and fruit teas. The food, however, was a pass. We ordered two different banh mi, hep quay and thap cam. Overpriced and just underwhelming. The spicy tuna sandwich was not good. The only thing that tasted decent were the spring rolls. They came mini sized and were fun to eat. Definitely will come back for the drinks! read more

They have the creamiest matcha. The lavender syrup was sweet but not too strong. And they had a good selection of milk types. This is a super cute place to sit and study, they have lots of tables and seating so you are always able to find a spot, they were pretty busy but were still able to bring out my drink quickly! read more

BEST MATCHA IN HOUSTON!! Definitely pricey, yet I can't stop myself from coming and buying that $9 matcha (I sub oat milk, so my order is a bit more expensive). I typically order the strawberry matcha latte or the regular matcha latte with sugar free vanilla syrup. Both 30% sweet, and with less ice and oat milk. Both are delicious! The heo quay banh mi was good, but I definitely wouldn't make the visit just for it. Could have been filled up more. The service is great, they have non-dairy milk options as well. The cafe itself is beautiful! This is a very popular work/study spot, so you'll have to come early if you want to grab a seat. read more

this place exceeded my expectations!! i've heard nothing but good things and i see why. i got there on a sunday around noon, right before a long line formed (rightfully so). i saw unique menu options that i don't see offered at comparable cafes such as ube cheesecake, cookies and cream matcha, egg coffee. I got the black sesame matcha, which consisted of a black sesame foam with a nice prominent flavor. the matcha was smooth, and refreshing. the order was made pretty fast considering how busy the place was and there was still seating available. parking is also adequate. overall i enjoyed this cafe! read more
Super cute cafe next to Baybrook mall with plenty of lounge seating and study seating for large parties here to get work done or to socialize! I ordered the egg coffee which was pretty average. Prices are pretty steep; ranging from $6.50-7 for a medium sized drink. It gets the job done and is a nice Asian cafe option without having to make the drive to Chinatown. The caffeine content isn't super high but the taste is OK. They also have plenty of other beverages, including matcha, teas, and flavored coffees with snacks. read more

This is a great place to come and grab a coffee or drink and get some productive work done. They have a variety of vietnamese drinks and snacks as well. They have boba, refresher sodas, and a variety of matcha drinks. The matcha here is excellent and I can tell that they are experienced in making it. The drinks here are very tasty. I have gotten the matcha and refresher sodas and they are tasty and come out quickly. The service here is excellent. The staff are very friendly and happy to serve you. The ambiance here is conducive to studying and getting work done, although the music can get loud sometimes. There are many places to sit, but tables are a premium. The cafe fills up quite quickly so sometimes there aren't many places to sit. Today, I got the Lychee Refresher soda and it was fantastic. I got it half sweet as the staff told me the regular sweet was very sweet - it was a good decision. The drink itself is tasty - mojito vibes with lychee mixed in. read more
Came here for a little snack and to kill some time. It's a nice café in the shopping mall complex and clearly, very popular with locals. I had the avocado coffee and the croffle. I enjoyed them both but you should know that the avocado coffee is a bit bitter. However, it's exactly how cafés in Vietnam make it and that's great to find in Houston. read more

Mille Cafe was the perfect pick-me-up after my doctor's appointment. They offer authentic Vietnamese food and drinks. I had the Ube Coffee and my husband ordered the coconut Cafe Sua Da. Both were high quality drinks, and were items that you'd expect to find at a cafe in Houston. The interior of the cafe is very modern and allows for lots of natural light. Props to them for being wheelchair accessible. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I'm so glad that the Baybrook area finally offers a place like this! read more

Went to the cafe on my fiancés recommendation. I do not like iced coffee and am not that into match so i order hot coffees. When I order a flat white It should be a 1:3 espresso to milk ratio in a 4-6 oz cup. Not a 16oz coffee. Having a La Marzocco in there gave me a false sense of hope that my hot Coffee would be made right. I'd recommend they practice more on the hot drink information than just make things up as they go. read more
Decorated so nicely, very photo friendly. The drinks are so good, you cannot go wrong with what you choose. Ordered Oolong milk tea: very deep roasted flavor, delish Matcha latte: great ratio of milk to matcha and no powdery feeling Ube coffee: one of the only cafes that does it right. Ube is strong but so is the coffee, they do not drown each other out Lychee mojito: hot day out? get this. (or any other mojito) Will say that it is pretty sweet but so so refreshing Croffle: chewy and crisp croffle texture which I love. One of my favorite cafes ever, and my go-to spot for an iced matcha latte! My favorite orders here are a sweetened iced matcha latte, strawberry croffles, and a sweetened iced jasmine green tea with grass jelly. The baristas here are very helpful in providing good suggestions and recommendations for drinks, and the drinks come out reasonably quickly. The decor in this cafe is beautiful and they often have seasonal decor, making the atmosphere festive and inviting. I study here often and they have plenty of space and outlets to do work. They are Vietnamese-owned and have plenty of Vietnamese inspired drinks and food items on the menu, making it a great place to get a quick bite to eat and drink to sip while working and conversing with friends. This place has definitely brought a lot of traffic to the Friendswood/League City area, and I can definitely see why! read more

Mille is a Vietnamese cafe that offers a variety of drinks and bites. This was my second visit, and we tried the avocado coffee and the strawberry matcha latte. I'd say the avocado coffee could definitely be sweeter because the strong Viet coffee really made the drink more on the bitter side. I enjoyed the strawberry matcha latte, but also felt like it would be better if it was just a tad bit sweeter. This is completely different from my first visit, when I tried the egg coffee and thought it was too sweet. Beware though, their Viet coffee is strong and not for the weak hearted! I'd say I have a pretty high caffeine tolerance as a grad student who drinks a coffee and an energy drink daily, but I could barely finish half of the egg coffee I got without feeling super jittery. This place always seems packed but it's a cute place to study! There's plenty of outlets available for charging. read more
Space was very modern with natural lighting. Perfect space for study or work. Workers were prompt with my order and I got the Ube coffee! Vietnamese coffee was very strong if that's your jam! Ube foam was light and was a good mix with the coffee. Parking was in a plaza! read more
Mille has one of the tastiest matcha lattes I've had in a while. I've gotten it twice now, once sweetened, and once as is. Both times I was very impressed. The matcha is rich and smooth, not grainy at all. The flavor of the latte was very well balanced and felt very light. The sweetened matcha latte was a good treat and the unsweetened one was great for studying and sipping. Service was quick and the place was full of people studying. Highly recommend as a study spot, especially if you can find a spot at a nice table. The place gets a lot of natural sunlight and looks very clean with plenty of outlets and stable wifi. Will return regularly to study. It is the perfect study spot to spent hours at. Just wish it wasn't as crowded. 9/10 read more
Mille Cafe might be my new favorite place to get some work done on my laptop in the Baybrook Mall area. Authentic Vietnamese drinks and snacks. Lots of natural lighting. Modern interior. Friendly staff. What took over the old 85°C bakery space, Mille Cafe is a great addition to the Baybrook area. They have plenty of seating, tables, chairs, and outlets whether you're getting work done or just meeting with friends. They offer a variety of Vietnamese coffee, tea, drinks, pastries, croffles, banh mi, and other snacks. I personally loved their ube coffee and banh mi xiu mai. The ube coffee had that strong Vietnamese coffee taste, but was balanced out with sweet ube cold foam. Then the banh mi had great crusty bread, pickled carrots, juicy meatballs, and special sauce to bring it all together. The coffee and banh mi was the perfect mid day study pick me up that I needed. Overall, Mille Cafe is a great Vietnamese family owned coffee shop. With their unique variety of drinks and snacks, I can definitely see this place doing really well for years to come. Next time I'll be back to try their tapioca drinks for sure, enjoy! read more
I was sad when 85 closed during covid on this very building but after visiting what replaced it in Mille Cafe, maybe I'm not so upset anymore. The cafe is situated on a strip right outside Baybrook Mall. Parking isn't too bad. The space inside is open and airy with plenty of seating to lounge or get work done. The young lady behind the counter was nice and friendly. The menu is a lot like other modern Vietnamese coffee shops with some Vietnamese and Asian drinks like matcha, egg coffee and cafe sua da, and also basic coffee shop staples like lattes and cappuccinos as well as snacks and other beverages. I opted for the egg coffee and it was creamy and bold, just the perfect post-lunch kick. Overall I'm glad this shop opened on this side of town. If you're looking for a caffeine boost or a place to get some work done, come here instead of going to the chain coffee shops popping up every where. read more
