Egg coffee was delicious!!! Coffee is strong with the egg balances it out nicely. Brown sugar waffle - delicious but it was quite tiny for the price Pork floss waffle - probably my favorite of the food items I got. The pork tasted fresh and the butter on top was the perfect balance. Again, I do wish it was a bit bigger though Summer rolls - the Jicama (I think) was a nice touch in it. It gave it a nice crunch. Space was really cute, but I felt some people just used chairs for their items instead of allowing people to sit. Not the cafe's fault, but there should be signs that says something like "seats are for people, not items"

Not so good of an experience anymore. I come here very often and the drinks have been inconsistent, sometimes too sweet, too much vanilla syrup, or have absolutely no taste at all. The shop is not even that busy anymore probably because of the inconsistency. They're currently doing a Giveaway for Christmas where if you spend $25+ and leave a 5-star review, you'll get a tote bag or a tumbler. I bought some drinks and food in the early morning and spent $30, but they didn't mention the giveaway at all. We asked about the tote bag and they said it's for big orders only, sure? False advertisement. Also service has went down as well, they take forever making drinks even though there is no customers at the moment.

Great place to get matcha in Houston! Love the puree and matcha. Purse was on the sweeter side. Crowded but big spot with lots of parking. I highly recommend and would come back!

Improve by actually giving people what they pay for. Ive had multiple times the cup wasn't filled to the top. As you can see in this picture I haven't even taken a sip and the cup is filled 3/4s. Inexcusable. One time I had a very nice lady at the front who took care of the problem.

Matcha was delicious, I asked for it not too sweet so they did 25%. Spanish Latte & Honey Lavender Latte, I added an extra shot. Honey Lavender Latte was on the sweeter side but it was good.

Mille Cafe is a great cafe located in Friendswood, Tx. They have plenty of items on their menu. After the few times I've visited the cafe, their matcha and coffee are to die for. They have unique flavors like black sesame & cookies & cream. There is also a lot of Vietnamese street foods. They have a parking lot in the front. There is a decent amount of seating, but on the weekends it may be a bit more crowded so finding a seat will be difficult. The interior is very cute and well thought out. Lots of photo-ops. I've tried their blueberry matcha, Vietnamese egg coffee, matcha with sea salt foam, and the cookies n cream matcha. I personally don't like getting fruit flavored matchas because it overpowers the matcha flavor, but surprisingly it isn't overpowering at all. Definitely a cafe I would come back to.

I have always been a fan of Mille Cafe but unfortunately I had a bad experience with their matcha this time. I remember getting the matcha latte the first time and being amazed by it. I got the same matcha latte with vanilla sweetener this time but I noticed that the matcha seemed grainy. It was indeed grainy and made it very difficult to enjoy my drink. I have to stir my drink before every sip to reduce the grainy taste of it. My friend got a matcha latte as well but theirs was perfectly normal and not like this at all. I guess it was just an error of whoever made my drink. I'm just glad that my friend enjoyed their drink

I loved the black sesame matcha it was so good!! Usually when I get black sesame drinks or flavored things in general the other flavors easily overpowers the black sesame or the other way around but this was such a good balance between the matcha and the black sesame where I could taste both and they complimented each other well. The space was big with a lot of seating but also it was almost full. We were able to find a table but it was pretty full when we went.

My friend suggested Mille to go study and said that they had the BEST matcha. Coming here, it did not disappoint. It is a Vietnamese cafe with both drinks and food/ snack options. The vibe in here is very homey and warm toned with the orangish brown wood. The server was so nice and recommended different drinks. I have gotten both the cookies and cream matcha and the regular matcha latte (not pictured). The cookies and cream foam by itself was 9/10 so sweet, had the exact flavor and was thick. When mixed together, it made the texture of the matcha a bit grainy but the flavor was good 7/10 together. But the matcha latte itself. WOW. 10/10. It was sweet but not overly sweet, the texture was buttery smooth and the matcha flavor was not diluted. Studying here is good too because of their seating and free wifi. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I didn't expect much when my husband and I decided to get our afternoon coffee here but I heard great things about this place on social media. I actually love their coffee and I do recommend coming here if you are in the area. I ordered the iced ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) and it just had the right amount of caffeine I needed to tackle the rest of my day. They also serve other specialty drinks and food so I'll definitely try that if I'm in the area next time. This cafe has cute decor and it can get packed so just be mindful if you are planning on hanging out for a little bit inside. It's inside the baybrook mall plaza so parking was plenty and not an issue. Overall, definitely check this place out if you are in the area.

They have the creamiest matcha. The lavender syrup was sweet but not too strong. And they had a good selection of milk types. This is a super cute place to sit and study, they have lots of tables and seating so you are always able to find a spot, they were pretty busy but were still able to bring out my drink quickly!

This is messed up i asked for no ice and they gave my half a drink basically never coming here again

The food was excellent, my adult kids got the Turkish Breakfast x2 and we all got a taste, while my wife and I split a Garden Omelette, because they are that big. Everyone got a different beverage from Turkish Coffee and Cafe Americano to Lattes and tea. Service was friendly snd genuinely helpful. It's an order-at-the-counter place but they still paid attention to us after we were seated, so nothing was lost in that experience. Flavor was the main experience. Everything had its own character and I can't wait to explore more of their offerings. Our table also included a waffle dish and a crepe dish, and nobody was disappointed in their choice. Heads up that the bacon is turkey bacon I believe to keep the kitchen Halal, but you don't go here to replicate Cracker Barrel, this is a different type of choice that opens up your understanding of brunch. We started with coffee. I got the iced caramel macchiato and my sister got the salted caramel latte. We both shared and both of us LOVED them. The drinks alone would make me go back. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and a side of fruit. I also ordered a side of bacon but never got it. I was also never charged so maybe she didn't hear me ask for it. The toast was great and the eggs fee fluffy and flavorful. The fruit was fruit lol. My sister ordered the breakfast sandwich with a side of the potatoes and the Reese's crepe. The drinks and crepe came out quickly. As you can see by the photos my baby LOVED the crepe and it was his first ever crepe so thanks! The sandwich was tasty and the potatoes were great. The decor was so cute. My sister and I sat under the tree. There was a man cleaning off the tables as people left and he stopped by to say hello and thank us for coming. Turns out he was the owner. Everyone was so nice and I'm definitely looking forward to going again!

The kind of place you stumble into expecting caffeine and leave with a small, irrational faith in humanity restored. People like to say Montrose is where Houston keeps its cool, its weird, its pulse. Maybe. But Java Owl makes a strong case that Clear Lake has been hiding a little strange magic of its own. It is bright, clean, odd in the best possible way, and alive with the feeling that something interesting might happen before you finish your cup. Now, the important part: the coffee. I judge a place by the black cup. No sugar, no milk, no whipped cream masquerading as personality. Just coffee, exposed and unprotected. Java Owl passes that test. The roast has character. It tastes like someone cared. It does not taste like the sad, scorched sludge you get from places that treat coffee beans like evidence to be burned. And if you want something more elaborate, they have that too. The specialty drinks rotate, mutate, and show up with a kind of reckless creativity that works more often than it has any right to. Every visit seems to bring some new concoction, some fresh little act of caffeinated imagination. Late nights at the Owl are their own species of entertainment. Beer, wine, conversation, and the grand old human circus of people watching. Someone might break into "Sweet Caroline." Someone else might decide the room needs a guitar solo. You do not so much sit there as get folded into the scene. It is noisy, warm, occasionally ridiculous, and never dull. Somehow, the place manages to be both energetic and peaceful, which should be impossible and yet is not. Good coffee, good people, a little music, a little chaos, and staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. The positivity is not the forced kind. It is not laminated corporate cheer. It is real enough that you can walk in tired and walk out a little lighter. So yes, go. Go to see and be seen, sure. But more than that, go because places like this matter. Java Owl is coffee, community, weirdness, and warmth in a town that could use more of all four.

I live in the Clear Lake area but will be working in League City this week, so I specifically wanted to find a nice coffee shop to patron or even hang out in for the next several days. The space was nice with more than enough bored games to keep any group of friends busy. There was no line, and no reason to be rushed. But the barista that took my order was immediately angry and took the stress level to a 10 for seemingly no reason. I ordered an Americano. She looked at me like I was an idiot and asked several questions including milk. I said I'd like some milk and some room in the cup and she berated me with many more questions that I couldn't understand. Pretty much yelling in my face for no reason. The manager/owner was right there watching it. The barista had dark hair, dyed red with a dark short sleeved shirt. She pretty much owned the place over everyone. I stood there with her talking down to me for several minutes. And that is why I won't go back. Also, I ordered a "medium Americano" and it came back after 5-10 minuktes in a cup barely larger than a dixie cup. And it was completely burned. It tasted awful. I write a bad review maybe every 3-4 years. And this was easily the worst coffee shop experience of my life. It actually ruined my morning. And that is why I am taking the time out of my day to write this.

The food tasted okay, but it definitely lacked spices and in my opinion needs some TLC. One menu item that caught my attention was the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese: three types of cheeses, Granny Smith apple slices, bacon slices, and sourdough bread. Now I thought that the apple slices come on the side right? Nope, they were cooked in the sandwich. I don't know who came up with the concept of adding the apples into the sandwich, but whatever; I've tasted weirder things. Still, the sandwich didn't taste bad; that's just a weird concept in my opinion. The worst part of our service was the server. She didn't exactly introduce herself, but she did ask how we were with an apathetic tone. Like I said, she didn't tell us her name. Only way I can describe her is she wore eyeliner, red lipstick, and her blonde hair in a clip. During our visit to the restaurant, she just seemed like she hated her job and was emotionally constipated. When I wanted to substitute a side order of white chicken chili with the Grown-Up grilled cheese (I knew there would be an upcharge), she told me in a somewhat aggravated voice that there would be an upcharge. I told her calmly that I understood as the menu had specified. The only time she came by was to ask if we were done with our plates or needed a coffee refill, but not on how the food tasted. But yes, our server was probably the worst part of our visit. I've met Russians who were less cold than our server. I probably won't return unless the server gets an attitude adjustment or just leaves.

I almost drove past because the drive thru line spilled out into the road but then I saw they had two lanes moving at a pretty rapid pace. Just from what I saw, it seemed like the whole staff was young, high school kids, but they were working hard. They had multiple people walking the lines with an iPad taking orders and keeping traffic flowing. I explained it was my first time so the young lady gave a quick run down of some of their popular items and asked what flavor profiles I like. The line moved quick and I liked that they took the time to wipe down each drink before handing it over so there was no mess. Great customer service. I ended up ordering the Cookie Butter iced coffee. The flavors of this coffee included toasted marshmallow, hazelnut and white chocolate breve. I like a breve because you get a creamier drink. The flavors worked well together and I really enjoyed my drink. I typically like a more coffee forward drink, but every once in awhile I like a dessert like drink. This was that. 7 Brew is one of many like chains in the area so competition is high out here.
