Waygood coffee is another delicious addition to Pearland's coffee scene. I've been to the location in the city/upper kirby area and didn't realize this one is drive-thru only! They do have two tables and a small seating area outside. We walked up to the window and requested a menu to decide what to get. They have a large number of unique drinks which is what I look for at a coffee shop. I chose the toffee latte, and also tried the waygood latte. Personally I thought the waygood latte was better and had the right amount of flavor with the hints of vanilla and caramal flavors. The toffee tasted more plain in comparison. I've also tried the dragonfruit refresher (targaryen) at their other location and it hit the spot on a hot summer day. It's a little out of the way for me but I would definitely return. read more

Went here because I was looking for a place to study but decided to just get a coffee and study elsewhere. There is a drive through and a walk up with a side patio. When I came around 1pm, I had to ring the doorbell to get service. I got the James Brown coffee and it was perfectly sweet even with oat milk. I also got a bagel. They do have breakfast tacos but I suggest going earlier than I did as they sell out pretty fast. The only thing I suggest is having a print out of the menu on the window. The website and the menu you see at the drive through are two different things so as a first timer, I didn't really know what they fully had. With a name like that you kinda want to roll your eyes. I was so happy to be proven oh so wrong. This coffee house is legit. The lines here are long for a reason. We used the drive thru due to being busy and having a lot to do. We had time to download their app and look at the menu. My husband got a I think a gold rush and I got this lavender concoction. When I tell you my drink blew me away, it did. It made me want to cry. That's how good it was. Like it made me think, why can't this be near where I live? Do you know how hard it is to find good lavender infused drinks and food. It's surprisngly difficult, but this place made it seem like it's another day in the neighborhood. Waygood Coffee is Pearland's newest coffee and it also happens to be the closest one to where I live as well. It was a fast food chain spot that converted to this drive thru coffee shop. There is also a small patio if you want to sit and enjoy your cup of joe. I have visited multiple times since they have opened since I know alot of new places go through some growing pains. They did and have progressively gotten better on every visit. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful. On my first visit, there was a line at the drive thru that poured out into the street. I navigated my way through the cluster you know what that was in the parking lot and found a parking spot so I could do a walk up order. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but I did ask for something that I could substitute the dairy in the drink. They suggested the Waygood Latte which was a vanilla and caramel latte with cloud. Now they have Waygood Cloud as well as Waygood Milk. I do know they they are variations of sweetened milk, but that is all they could tell me. I got the latte iced and it was delicious. Not overly sweet with hints of the flavors advertised. I tried an Iced Perfect Mocha the next time and this one had the Waygood Milk in it. This drink was so good as it had a velvety, creamy consistency with just the right amount of mocha flavor. I have yet to try any of the teas or energy drink concoctions, but am looking forward to it. Mothers Day Waited over 20mins for two drinks! Ordered at the window and I'm assuming given it was busy they lost the ticket and then gave me an attitude when I came to check on the progress lol. Pearland may be oversaturated with chain restaurants, but our coffee game is on point! New coffee shops continue to open up and I ain't mad at it. I love coffee and always appreciate the opportunity to try a new local spot. I've been looking forward to trying Waygood Coffee, but I made a point to wait for the buzz to die down. On my first visit I ordered a medium (16 oz.) Iced Vietnamese Latte from the walk up window. I really enjoyed this drink and it tasted like an authentic Vietnamese coffee. It was very sweet (as one would expect), so I don't know if I would order this on a regular basis, but it definitely satisfied the craving. On my second visit, I ordered through the drive thru and tried the Waygood Latte. It comes with their Cloud Foam. I found out that the Vietnamese Latte has the Cloud Milk which is a secret recipe. That explains why it was so sweet. The Waygood Latte wasn't as sweet, but I did like the foam. It had a nice strong coffee flavor. I would have preferred just a tad more sweetness to this drink. The barista explained that the The Waygood Cloud and Waygood Milk can be added to drinks for an extra $1. The Vietnamese Latte and The Perfect Mocha already have Cloud Milk in it. If I understood her correctly, subbing the Cloud Milk with an alternative will change the flavor of the drink because they aren't able to put the ingredients of the Cloud Milk into other milk alternatives. They have breakfast tacos and pastries from local eateries. I love that they're supporting other small businesses. The signage is a little misleading. The signs say "walk in" parking but it's really "walk up." This operation is all outdoors so do not try to go inside the building. They have a small seating area in the breezeway and there is a bathroom that you can enter from the breezeway area. The drive thru is a bit confusing. I can't totally blame them for the parking layout since it was already designed this way when this establishment was Checkers. The drive thru entrance is on the side off of Old Max Ct. If you turn in from Broadway (near Waffle House), it takes you to the "walk in" parking spaces. A car got in the drive thru line from the wrong direction and blocked me in when I was trying to leave. No wonder it was a hot mess during opening weekend when cars were backed up on Broadway. They have a rewards program. I opted in on my second visit. It's on Toast Tab and you can sign up using your phone number. You earn 1 point per dollar spent. Every 50 points earns $5 off. You get 25 bonus points for signing up. So far, I'm digging their coffee. It hasn't dethroned my favorite spots in town, but I like it enough to add them to my coffee rotation. read more

It was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last! I'm not a fan of overly sweet coffee, so with the barista's help I decided to get their cold brew with cloud topping. Turns out I really enjoyed it, and was perfect for a hot day. I also got a fajita taco with green salsa, and it was BOMB. Will definitely be getting that again. Not quite sure if there is any interior seating. The lot is small, so follow the signs folks. The menu is pretty simple. I went with David's Brew, but had oatmilk added. It was great coffee, but I didn't taste any amaretto that was noted in the foam stuff. So I might consider in my future visit to add a shot or halfsie of whatever if you want a specific flavor profile. To be clear, I don't like sugary, but I do like flavors. Hence the suggestion. Ive been here a few times. It's always great to have options. The more the better. Not only in coffee but in life. Waygood is another solid coffee option in the Pearland area. It is a little out of my way as I do not regularly commute past this location, however every so often, when I'm burned out on my neighborhood coffee spots, I might cruise by here. I have had a flat white and a sugar free vanilla latte. They were both solid if not spectacular. I don't care for a lot of sugar or sweetness in my coffee period, so some of the flavored coffees are out of the question but I did enjoy the two cups of coffee I had here. I only went through the drive thru, so I cannot say too much about the ambiance but everyone seemed upbeat and polite. I remember the first time I went, the person at the window seemed a little confused answering questions on some of the menu items. That was several months ago and it wasn't a big deal. The coffee is the best around with lots of great options. It's a little pricey, but still worth it. Not many places have the options they do. Their lavender flavor is top notch, and whatever they use for oat milk is also great. That being said, the App and Website are unusable right now and are why I haven't ordered from Waygood in a while. On the app, I try to order and sugar free option is REQUIRED, but only gives the option for Sugar Free. I checked on the website and sugar free is optional, but when I tried to log in with my same number and email address it created a new account? I have money on gift cards that I can't use right now. Yay. Can't use my rewards or earn new rewards that way. Also yay. Speaking of, if you try to add money to your account on the app, the only option is to buy a $90 gift cards (which they're promoting right now with an additional $10). That's great and all, but not everyone wants to spend $100 on their account. But there's no way to change it. I've submitted messages to their customer service through the app at least 4 times in the last year or so and never gotten a response. I get they're a smaller company, but some of these things are pretty basic. It feels like their website was vibe coded more than actually built by a developer, because it's full of issues. Good Blessed Day! Let me say- I am a COFFEE LOVER. I was headed down FM 518 and saw the words "COFFEE" and immediately turned towards this establishment. Am I glad I did? YES!!! I was craving a frappe and they had a drink called "The Perfect Mocha" that can be hot, iced or frozen. I ordered this and as another reviewer said- it was perfect!!! At other coffee places, when I order a frappe, I have to request that it is double blended to reduce the icy texture. THIS DRINK is silky smooth as a triple blend. I love, love, love their whip cream and chocolate drizzle. The whip is lightly sweet and the drizzle taste like Ghirardelli's chocolate flavor that is super delish. It is clear they know something about blended drinks. The medium size was "just enough" because of the richness of the drink. I usually buy large or venti sizes. They sell teas, coffee drinks and snacks/ breakfast food. I will come back and try other drinks and the food. This was my first visit and I am excited to go again. A couple of issues were: 1. The frozen drinks cost an extra dollar when this is not noted on the menu so I was taken aback when I ordered. The price changed from what I expected paying based on the menu cost. 2. I really wish they sold TAPIOCA or BOBA pearls. This is not their problem. Only my interest in having a 1 stop shop drink station. Pearland has numerous coffee shops popping up more and more and this is a good go-to spot if you want the perfect mocha frappe type coffee. BTW, this is a Drive-thru, as others have stated. In the morning, it's not that bad and there's some shade from the sun. There's also 1 restroom, which was very clean. Ordered the frozen waygood latte with waygood cloud. It has a nice flavor and sweet. "Waygood cloud" milk is made in-house. They sell breakfast tacos and baked goods from 2 local vendors. Service was good. Just wish they had an indoor space. Echoing the other reviewers when they say this place is DAMN GOOD. They are not being hyperbolic. My goodness. There's so many coffee shops out there that often it becomes monotonous and I mean, how many ways can you reinvent the wheel? But Waygood doesn't reinvent, they perfect. Their cold brew is the best I have ever had ever. I ordered an Autumn's Brew. A cold brew with maple cinnamon and a matching cold foam that they call Cloud. It's smooth and refreshing, and not sour, bitter or burnt tasting. Perfect level of sweetness and enough cloud to drink your whole drink. The service is fast and friendly, and they have a reward system for you to rack up points and redeem them for goodies. I cannot wait to taste the entire menu! So happy this coffee shop came to be.
