This is a good place for quick healthy on the go food. The way the restaurant is setup is similar to a Chipotle. You walk in pick your salad and whether you want a salad bowl or a wrap. There are many choices for veggies, protein, and dressings. My wrap was very filling. There aren't many soup selections, but the tomatoe basil soup was good. An added perk is you get complimentary pita chips! Free is always good, right!? There is also beer and wine for sale, fyi. read more

Salata - Wraps on the go! - Salad Near Me - Irving, Texas

My wife and I just left this place. We ordered a small and large salad. Nothing fancy with the desire to get veggies today. As we approached to order, the first server was not very friendly at all as if we were disturbing her. A different server took over my wife's order and she was very pleasant. I was stuck with the jerk who remained hateful. I paid the bill and small talked the owner who looked down the entire time we spoke. He said, "See you next time." Kick rocks. Rude and poor service. We will not be going back under any circumstances whatsoever. read more

EDIT: I changed this review to only 4 stars because SALATA RAISED THEIR PRICES. It's still good, but seriously wtf? $10 was already more than enough for a lunch salad with chicken. Don't be greedy, Salata owner. You'll lose your prime customers that way. I'm no longer coming here every day because Sweet Tomatoes is a better value now. ---------------Original Post------------- The most delicious fking salad you will ever eat hands down. When you walk in here, you can have the biggest, freshest, most delectable salad of your heart's desires. Seriously, I just randomly walked in here because I was tired of Chipotle and Freebirds clogging up my intestines and I needed a healthier lunch option. I was afraid at first that the salads wouldn't be filling, but trust me...they fill you up just fine! And its that delicious, "my God I'm healthy" type of full, not the post-Chipotle burrito nightmare. My favorite thing I order here is a concoction of salad greens with kale, cabbage, onions, carrots, sprouts (yes! They have sprouts!!), bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, pasta bits, pumpkin seeds and Asian BBQ grilled chicken. Get the herb vinaigrette and the lemon vinigarette mixed together. JUST DO IT. When I'm feeling particularly gluttonous, I will get this salad as a wrap and eat it with a side of pita chips and piping hot tomato basil soup. Most importantly, they have a wide selection of flavored teas and lemonade as their fountain drinks. No soda. NO SODA!! Can you deal with that?! It's ok, your body will thank you later. I come here like every single day. That's not an exaggeration. Come find me. read more

Nothing but salsa is hot. Luke warm at best. Asked them to microwave. They have one but said they can't do it ....we tried brisket burrito and nachos. Brisket was really fatty. If, big if, I come back I'll try it to go so I can heat it up. read more

A friend at work treated me to Salata during lunch. She had a salad with meat, I had the crispy artichoke. Both salads were large portions made fresh to order and only took a few minutes to prepare. This place is really busy during lunch so snagging a table can be challenging. If you have never been to a Salata, the dining tables are long bar tables that seat 12-16 each, you will be dining with strangers. read more

Loved this place will be a new regular in rotation. Fresh choices and delicious. Highly recommend giving a try

If you're looking for a good salad this is the place. All types of lettuce and vegetables and protein to choose from and it's always fesh. My rating is 6+ stars read more

After pigging out on Thanksgiving I felt like a fat lil piggy and needed something light for lunch. My coworkers decided they wanted salad however thanks to the shortage of romaine lettuce I was unable to order a salad. I browsed the menu and decided to try a wrap instead as I couldn't imagine eating only a spinach/spring mix salad sorry but I just can't. I ordered a wrap on whole wheat with chipotle chicken loads of veggies and the chipotle ranch. The wrap was the bomb.com (do people still say that?) The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender and full of flavor. The veggies were fresh, crisp and perfectly proportioned to fit into my wrap and the chipotle ranch was the perfect spicy compliment that tied it all together. I've had Salata before and it was nothing to brag about but I can now say I've found my go to menu item. Can we also take a moment to appreciate those perfectly salted crunchy pita chips? The online ordering along with the easy pick up made my lunch 100% satisfying. Keep up the good work. read more

Salata - Not the best picture but this wrap was delicious! - Salad Near Me - Irving, Texas

The subway of salata! This location has a good variety of fresh ingredients. Customer service was good. Good steady flow of people during work lunch but never too busy that tables weren't available. Had the tomato basil soup-soup was hearty & thick. Had spicy chipotle chicken salad with chipotle ranch dressing. Salad was filling and only able to finish half of a large salad-$8+3(chicken). Will definitely be coming back!! read more

Best salad bar in town. Nice selection of salads and ingredients, vegans options. Try the soup, my preference goes to the broccoli soup :) read more

Salata - Salad Near Me - Irving, Texas

5 star for freshness -- best I had in Irving. 3 star for policies (they have a 2 spoon limit on any vegetable -- so you have to pay extra if, say, you want three scoops of cheese instead of 2 3.5 star for service -- not rude but pretty indifferent and matter of fact. read more

Wonderful salad! Ordered from here for the 1st time today. Everything was fresh & good portions for all the toppings at one price. I will definitely be eating from Salata again! read more

This place opened up recently in a shopping center next to my house. I was really excited to go and try it out! The place was very clean and the staff was really nice. They did happen to mess up while making my salad. They placed a wrong item in my salad which costs a dollar extra, the manager insisted to just throw it out and remake my salad but I felt that was very wasteful. I told her it is fine just keep it id rather not throw out the entire salad and she said "I am still going to charge you for it then, if you don't want the charge then I need to throw it out and remake the salad". I told her I'd rather be charge the extra dollar then throw out the entirely perfect salad. She was kind but at the same time I felt that was very rude and unnecessary of her to say. I do plan to come back here because overall the staff was pleasant and the salad itself was delicious! read more

Hello beautiful is exactly what comes to my mind when I step into Salatas. With so many options it's so difficult to choose. For my health cautious plant-based eaters beware of stepping into a bundle of joy. The food is fresh and brings not only nutrition but, tremendous satisfaction to your tastebuds. You have been warned! read more

I LOVE Salata and probably eat it once a week. Since I travel alot, I usually eat at a few different ones all over the country. For this year, I am based in Irving and have noticed this Salata doesn't put as much in their salads as other Salata's.... Not alot of greens for the base either. It's salad and is always great for my liking. However, when I ask for "extra" tomatoes or "extra" mushroom, they always add A PINCH. It's like they think each pinch cost $2. Sadly this is the only Salata around work, so I might have to be okay with it. read more

This place is great. I always get the spinach wrap. So many different options to chose from. It's always fulfilling. When I do eat a lot it's not that uncomfortable feeling you get when you eat to much. I've recommended this place to multiple people and every has a new love for them. read more

Salata is hella delish. My favorite are the wraps. With fresh ingredients and large portions, how could you go wrong. Yes, tacos and sandwiches are good for lunch and dinner but when you have a craving for something else that is truly satisfying than try Salata here on MacArthur Blvd. The staff here are extremely helpful and they are here for you to make your perfect salad and/or wrap. Just writing this review gives me a craving for a Spring Mix Greens, Corn, Onions, Black Beans, Kidney Beans, Tomatoes, Feta Cheese, Egg, Chipotle Chicken with a spoon of Roasted Tomato Sauce all wrapped in a Southwestern Style Tortilla. Um Num Num! Enjoy cuz I sure do! read more

Extremely packed but now I understand the reasoning... I loved the fact that I could create my own salad with just about every topping you can think of.. They need to get on in Milwaukee but in the meantime any time I visit Irving I will be there. read more

Salata - Salad was so good, I ate three quarters before remembering to snap a pic - Salad Near Me - Irving, Texas

Why these guys 'pinch' so much on the veggies I don't understand. It's not as if there is significant cost in carrots or cucumbers, yet the technique they use ensures they use as little amount of veggies as possible. It's quite greedy when paying $10 for a salad. read more

I like the service but there's something about the food here. I ate it in January and threw it up with in minutes. I didn't think much of it. I went again in February and threw it up with in 10minutes my throats started burning it lasted like 3 days, I went to a doctor since tums weren't doing anything. Good thing they gave me a strong anti acid medicine. I love their service but I was recommended to stop going there. read more

I love this place. It is a way to eat healthy when I don't have time to cook at home or I'm on the go. There is a large selection of products and it is fresh. My favorite salad is seafood mix. One negative point is my foreign card does not work for order online .... read more

I tried Salata for the first time today and I thought it was great. I thought their selection of salad topping were fresh and they had alot of variety. For example, I love peas in my salad and I was very suprised they had that as an offering! I will be back.....ALOT. read more

I am one of those people who goes to different Salata locations because I go so often that it's embarrassing. I am not disappointed with this location! I am picky about the salt and pepper shakers being available, as some locations do not provide them. (some of the fat-free dressings need some extra punch). Here, they are available and clean! Once again, I am happy with the service and the healthy and fresh options available! Also, the owner is often here overseeing, and he is delightful. I highly recommend if you are looking for a healthy and quick meal! read more

They came on site to my work and served a pre-made chicken Cesar whole wheat wrap with whole wheat pita chips. It was delicious, but I was horrified when I looked up the nutritional information. First, I logged it into My Fitness Pal and it said 600+ calories. I thought, surely that's wrong so I looked up the ingredients on the restaurant's website and it came to over 800 calories with more than 70 grams of fat, more than 30 of which is coming from 2 oz of their classic Cesar dressing. This is approximately the same calorie count and 20 more grams of fat than a McDonald's Triple Cheeseburger with bacon (per My Fitness Pal). I expected this to be a healthy meal. I don't expect McDonalds to be healthy so I felt duped. read more

I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves one. The salads and wraps are so fresh and delicious. All are made to order your way.

One the food is good but the reason for the 1 star is this: I had the lap-band surgery and normally get a kids plate - Today on July 30, 2012 was my 4th time at this place and the 4th ordering a kids plate - most restaurants always have issues with adults ordering kids related items - but the tone of this cashier person/manager was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL - when I order my kids wrap (which you can only get 5 toppings) - she rang it up as a normal wrap - i told her - im sorry, i got a kids wrap - The first thing she said was "WHERE IS YOUR CHILD AT?" - i told her i don't have one - she said - "WELL YOU CANT GET A KIDS WRAP" - i said ok but this isn't my first time - she said "THE OWNER DOESNT WANT US TO DO IT" - she walks to the first person at the salad bar - the one that gives you the salad when you first start the process of ordering and yell at the guy and tells him "why did he give me the OK to give me a kids wrap" .. this experience was embarrassing - the food is amazing but i'm never going to this place again. Don't get me wrong - i don't mind paying for a full meal - i've been dealing with this for years because of the lap band - but the way she said everything and yelled at her co-worker - they will no longer have my money! read more

I was just visiting Dallas for the weekend and wanted something healthy to eat for dinner. I'm so glad I found this place. There were other salad bar places, but this one looked the most appealing on yelp. I pre-ordered my salad online which was super convenient because then I didn't have to stand there and decide right in front of the person making the salad. They only put a spoonful of eat topping on my salad unless I asked for more. They charge extra for any type of meat added onto the salad, as well as $1 for 1/4 of an avocado (which was the only con). You get bread and can ask for pita chips on the side if you like. I would definitely come back if I was in Dallas! read more

Upgrading my review. I've been back several times because of the availability and variety of fresh greens and toppings. Somebody at corporate also must have clued in the staff, because I've gotten nothing but impeccable service of late. The simple pricing structure for wraps and generous-portioned salads makes a visit to Salata compulsory--where else can you get a build-your-own salad that's not just a standard iceberg down this street? I've gotten to-go and dine-in orders, and even dragged coworkers here for a healthy meal--the clean quiet surrounds done up in greens and purples puts at easy after a busy day at work. I've been so pleased with Salata, that it's now my go-to salad joint in the area. And I've finally found my fave dressing: fat-free mango! Good job, Salata! read more

I've never made a bad salad here. This place is super busy at lunch but I appreciate the speedy service.

I love this place. A little on the pricy side but totally worth it. Service is great, staff is super friendly, and ingredients are very fresh. I'm going to have to buy stock in the company with how much money I'm spending here. read more

The quality of the food is ok, but the portions that you get per veggie choice are really really small, in the past (like 3 months ago or so) they used to serve you more per choice now you only get a pinch of everything and lots of lettuce, so 13 for lettuce is too much ! And even if you pay more (like for avocado) still you get like 1/8 of one read more

My second time here again awesome!!!!!! They have a really nice staff and help make the food great with their expertise!

I drove by this place for the first time and decided to try it. I was not disappointed! There is a huge selection of fresh ingredients that you can mix to create your own salad. I tried the herb and lemon dressing mixed together based on an employee's recommendation and it was delicious. The teas are very good too.
