It took 5 people to make a mediocre salad and a cup of very salty soup. To top it all off, I ate half the salad before finding a rubber band in it. Disgusting! read more

One of my new favorite places to go to. Not only is it healthy but it's effing good and also fun to eat there. I like how its kind of an assembly line to build your salad but it makes it easier. Pricing is a tad bit more then I'd want to spend for a quick lunch but it's worth it for what you get. read more

This is a healthy girl's dream restaurant. I can choose between a salad or a wrap.Talk about heaven. Basically the concept of Salata is you can build your own salad or wraps. They also serve soups but I have never had them before. They have 5 different lettuce mixes and endless toppings. The people that work there are always upbeat and they keep the place very clean. This particular location is by my job so when I go at lunch it is crazy busy but staff will get you in and out quickly. read more

If there was an option I would give it 3.5 stars. Solid place and certainly the healthiest option around. I haven't tried the salads yet but the wraps are great and fresh. Only thing that would make it better would be a kale option. Also - they tend to skimp on the meat portions. read more

I really like Salata & the concept, per my previous review. However, after going there today, I have to say, I am sick of them being so stingy with the lettuce! The put it in this deceptively large looking bowl so it looks like you're getting a lot. However, if you're not putting in every topping they offer, you're not left with a whole lot. Today, I had to ask for more of several ingredients, and there was so little lettuce that half the salad ended up being toppings. I ordered a salad because I want actual lettuce. Seriously, how cheap is lettuce? I'm starting to feel like this is a rip-off for $10 with protein. Others talk about the huge portions, but they must not have very big appetites. read more

This review is not about the product instead it is about how seriously they take their customers. On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend of 2017, my wife and I were in the mood for salad. We ordered online and while it was raining outside went to pick up the salad only to arrive at the location to find out that they are closed on Sundays. They should have not even allowed us to submit an order if that was the case and on top of that they ended up charging us on our credit card, I guess that was for the hassle that they were able to provide us. I have now reached out to the credit card company to take care of that, hopefully they have better luck that we did :) read more

Super clean, way better than Chipotle....sheesh, ive been missing out! Super chill vibe, staff and chef

I have been to Salatas on a couple of occasions. My sister told me about it. I went one evening after work, as I do appreciate a good salad. I'm glad I went, it was extremely fresh, and I love all the choices! I didn't give it 5-stars simply because it is rather expensive. I would probably go more often. However it is good and if you dig a salad, you will dig this place!! read more

New place, great food but bad service. The big lady at counter seems the leader running the show. She is very strict with the employees and hardly behaves pleasantly with customers. she charged me for an extra falafel though her employee crushed it even though I never ask her to do so in my salad; that eMployee agreed to do one more unchurched but lady at counter would not agree. I was standing watching the drama. read more

Love but beware of crazy amounts of fat and calories in the dressings!

Apparently the upgraded system doesn't work very well. I've been trying to order online for a while and can't get in. I love Salata, but not the crowd at lunchtime. Online ordering is the way to go - if you can get in that is. read more

HUGE number of add-in options lets you make a salad exactly how you want it. multiple protein options and incredible soups. Yum!

I went to this place once, I kind of felt it's not my style of salad. It's something very different taste of mixing all kinds of Mediterranean food styles. read more

Love this place for lunch, like that I can order and pay online. However the cashier lady scares me she isn't very nice.... :/ anyways the wraps are so good love this place read more

I usually enjoy Salata, but seeing flies hop around on all the lettuce and salad toppings really killed my appetite. Hopefully they'll be able to fix the fly problem and I can revisit again, soon! read more

Definitely THE salad place to go in the area!! I usually get a small salad (which despite the name is pretty large) and you get endless toppings and a choice of their many dressings (my fave is the ginger lime ) or you can mix and match like one of my friends does! Then you have a choice of protein. They have some pretty bomb chicken, AMAZING smoked turkey, salmon, shrimp, tofu, quinoa, and I might be missing some but you get the point, you have a wide variety. Obviously if you add protein the price goes up about $2 or $3. If you get the salmon it goes up $4. Regardless, with the protein added it's about the same price as snappy salads. Overall I prefer salata Over snappy salads bc it's endless toppings whereas snappy you have only 8, and the variety at salata is just enough to suit your tastes without being overwhelming (which is how I feel at snappy with the dressings and the protein choices). This might also have to do with the layout of salata, which again I prefer, because everything is displayed in front of you rather than as a list or in bottles for the dressings. This location specifically is always clean and nice, the staff is nice as well, and every single time I've gone )which have been too many to count) there has never been a shortage of anything so highly recommend read more

Salata - Salad Near Me - Irving, Texas

Unbelievable corporate policies and rude managers refusing to serve food! This particular location refuse to serve food in case you need to order Kids meal and the kids are not with you. They said this is a franchise and we've been told by the corporate office to do so. I called another location (as I did not believe them) and they told me I can come in anytime with or without family if you want food. I had to leave without food. They have lost me for life as a customer. What a shame! I called corporate and they said they need to train employees with regard to this!!! read more

I ordered a salad via Foodsby (work delivery) and the order was missing a couple of items. I contacted the Southlake location and left a message and the local owner, Mark called me. He apologized about the inconvenience and offered to bring the items that were missing and brought an extra side of dressing to mix with the one I ordered to spice things up! He also threw in a couple cookies! This is customer service at its BEST! I truly appreciate when businesses put customer satisfaction first! I frequent Salata and because Mark personally and expeditiously remedied the error, I'm an extremely satisfied customer and of course the salad is incredible!!! Thanks Mark!!!! read more

Moved back to Irving and tried this place out after year missing out. Went there after work in the evening. As I walked in there was one lady working and she was on the phone having what appears to be a personal conversation. After about 5 minutes of waiting she came to start serving me and building out my salad. Shortly after starting the phone rings again she stops what she is doing and leaves to answer the phone. Meanwhile another customer walks in behind me and is waiting. A gentlemen came from the back and began building the salad for the guy behind me totally ignoring that I had been waiting. The lady was still on the phone having a personal conversation while I was waiting and while someone who came in behind me was being serviced. Giving the service 1 star as I will not return, the guy that is there during the evenings rarely greets you and seems to have an attitude. read more

Although the ingredients are fresh and delish, $11 for a small salad with a 1/2" slice of salmon is a bit high, even for Las Colinas' standards. I liked the ease of placing my order online, however, one of my ingredients didn't make it into my order! I'll go elsewhere next time. read more

By far the worst customer service, we walked in and the person making the salads looked like he didn't want to be there. I think for a $12.00 salad the service would be a bit better they do not have enough people on the weekend so the employees aren't very friendly. Sweet tomatoes down the street has better service and its a buffet. First time and will be the last time i come here . read more

I love this place. In the afternoons it's fresh and delicious, and the staff are amazing and friendly, and the looong lines move really fast when they have the staff. BUT don't go in the evenings. It really really sucks in the evenings. It's a complete contrast to the mornings and afternoons. The staff is unfriendly and slow. We've gone a couple of times at night and decided not to go anymore after 3:00. Just last night we went at 6:30. The unfriendly woman gave me 1/3 of what I usually get in a salad barely giving me a full scoop of any of the ingrediants I asked for except for the cilantro that she dumped all over. Then she doused the whole thing with way to much ranch after I asked her for only a little. Then when we went to get drinks the ice machine had been turned off and all the tea that we had paid for already was gone. There was only two flavors available. THEN to top it all off we usually pay $22 for drinks and salads, but they charged us $30 and double charged for ingredients we didn't even order. The food in this place is WONDERFUL, and I recommend it to everyone and drag my bf there all the time, but seriously don't go at night. The staff in the daytime are wonderful and pleasant, go then. read more

I went here for the first time for lunch yesterday. They have 3 options. A small salad, large salad or a salad wrap. All of the ingredients were fresh. They have multiple kinds of chicken, shrimp, salmon. The prices are reasonable. They have homemade dressings. I tried the lemon one that it was really flavorful. They have kale and spinach. You can get any mix of lettuce you would like. They have lots of options and you can pick 5 ingredients without an up charge. They let you try the different kinds of chicken and I ended up with Asian one after trying them all. I will definitely be back. read more

It's like a chipotle salad location, you pick everything you want and someone mixes it all up for you. They have every salad topping you could possibly want with plenty of salad dressing. I ordered online and picked it in store. Super quick and easy, great for a healthy lunch option. read more

Great selection of fresh ingredients. Its always hard to decide between a salad and wrap, they are both great. The cool cucumber wrap (the green) is so good. The salad dressings are all housemade and I've never had a bad one. My favorites are the lemon vinaigrette, herb vinaigrette and the ginger one. Beware that if you have kids who love veggies that they charge for over 5 ingredients for salads. read more

I love the one in frisco so decided to try this one on the way to work.......nope never again. JACOB was our guy helping us not only did he seem highly annoyed to have to help us but he was trowing stuff around and making it SUPER AWKWARD,. He filled up my friends cup of soup and like tossed it on the counter really hard and it spilled everywhere! He had the worst attitude ever :((( read more

Wow! Salata exceeded our expectations and more! Not only is this place amazing quality but is also a much better value than its competitors. At Salata, you get unlimited toppings for the same price you would pay at Snappy Salads (where you can only pick 8) or Saladworks (where you can only choose 5). They also have a tea/lemonade bar with a variety of different delicious teas and lemonades to choose from. The customer service was fantastic as well. We WILL be back!!!!!! read more

I used to go to Salata two to three times per week, but I'm done. They are just too stingy with their food! I only get 3 veggies, 1 cheese and croutons on my salad, but they won't allow me to have 3 handfuls of croutons without paying extra (it's not like I'm piling on the toppings). I consider Jason's Deli and Bread Zeppelin to be a way better value! read more

Good salad but nothing special. A bit pricey for what you get. The large salad is $8, which doesn't include meat - that is $3-$4 extra. They do have a large selection of ingredients included at that price, and the dressings were good - I tried the ginger lime and balsamic. Overall, didn't knock my socks off, but if you're having a salad craving, not bad. read more

The manager was rude to me and got upset with me for her employees mistake when i ordered a wrap and they prepared a small salad for me. I felt very disrespected and upset with how she handled the situation read more

12/04/14 Update: *** I have gone from going to Salata 2-3 times per week to maybe once every three weeks. I went today and see that they have added artichoke hearts, which I love and were conspicuously missing before. ...and they cost an extra dollar. Honestly I think I'm done with Salata. Jason's salad bar is less than $8 and is all you can eat. Sweet Tomatoes is another good option. Seriously, we're talking about vegetables - as long as they are fresh there is nothing hugely unique about Salata's offereing vs. anyone else's. *** Great salads, getting too pricey. I love Salata and I eat lunch there (Irving location) more often than at any other restaurant, at least ten times a month (2-3 times a week). The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is very friendly. It took a few tries to nail down my 'recipe' but once I did I like and even crave it. It is by far the most expensive salad around and more expensive than most of my other lunch preferences. Unfortunately, expensive just got more expensive, as they have raised the surcharge for chicken and seafood to $3 and $4 respectively (for 4 oz.) This makes for an $11 salad and is a disappointment, as is the fact that unlike many other restaurants, they have no frequent diner program. read more

I love this place! Great variety of protein and dressing choices. I had the seafood combo as my protein and the sun dried vinaigrette as a dressing on my salad and it was excellent. The tortilla soup was so good I got a bowl to go. The Workers were Patient and friendly as I tried all the different dressings. My son said his wrap with pesto chicken was awesome. read more

When I heard about a salad place I worried about the taste I would get from eating " leaves". Not being much health conscious myself , I was pleasantly surprised at how satisfied I felt having a regular size chicken salad with spicy chipotle ranch. There were so much options to put in your salad. I also saw they sold wraps and soups. It was all fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back with my vegetarian husband and try out their vegetarian options as well. read more

Ive tried snappy salads, bread zeppelin and this place all for salads. This was by far my favorite. You get to customize your whole salad with tons of toppings at no extra charge (outside of meats and avocado which have an up charge). Salad was about $12-$13 with chicken, avocado, and tons of veggies. Id go again for sure. read more

Tried for the 1st time today. Disappointing! The TORTILLA SOUP has NO tortilla chips. When I asked about it, the mgr just said, very rudely, "We don't have tortilla chips". When I showed her they were listed on the menu for the tortilla soup, she was armed and ready with her standard fib, "The tortilla chips are in there, they are added by "corporate" when they send us the soup. Uhhhh.....I know what tortilla chips look like, and there ain't none in that soup! And having the soup "sent from corporate" doesn't sound too fresh to me. Then of course, when I got through the line, there was no place to sit. Typical in a Chipotle-like model with a slop line where they leave you standing with a tray of food. Misrepresentation.....rude service.....no place to sit. I won't be back. On the positive side, the place was clean, the salad ingredients fresh, and the line moved fast. Fix the menu and and teach the staff some customer service skills. They need it! read more

Irving Location is worse. They are very stingy on ingredients... 4 chick peas 4 beets 4 broccolli. I always get half box... They greet a guy but not a girl. They greet a blonde , but not chinese. Thats very unfriendly. Oh please use scoops and not hands... Unfriendly staff at Irving...Serious face... Tired girls... I prefer PLANO location only.its the best. Its super delicious ... Friendly stafff. Superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Koooooooooooooool read more

Great concept, great place! Wish they had not raised prices though. The grilled chicken is so yummy and healthy! The ranch dressing is really good. Spicy is spicy as is chipotle so be careful. read more

If it was a couple dollars cheaper for a wrap or they added more meat than 4 chicken cubes that wasn't valued at $3, then it would get another star. They also have a lot of employees carrying out the barbie size spoon portions who can't seem to understand what you tell them you want half the time. All-in-all the "wrap" and chips for $9.00 isn't that bad, but as fresh as the food tastes, the price and service still leaves a sour taste in your mouth. read more

Normally, I LOVE Salata, but today's experience was less than desirable. The taste was great and the ingredients were fresh, however they were so chincy on the amount they gave me. Granted, I did order a small salad to go, but at the other Salata locations I've visited, the salad bowls are brimming. I don't add a whole lot of different ingredients in my salad, so I really want a lot of what I order. When I was paying for my lunch, the girl actually knocked $1 off my purchase and said, "There's no a whole lot of salad there." Seriously, it took me about 5 minutes to consume my salad completely. And, I'm still hungry. Oh yeah, and the pita chips were really stale today. read more

I haven't had a bad experience (10+ visits) at Salata. Fresh ingredients, great selection, and reasonable prices (especially if you like to load your salads up). Their salads beat out Jason's Deli and Subway with ease(irt freshness and selection). Try the mix of the lemon and herb vinaigrette, it's super tasty. The small salad should be just fine for the average adult. read more
