We have two favorites, a build your own Buffalo chicken salad and hubby likes the jalapeño ranch salad. There is a ton of food (I can never quite finish mine); they are ready on time and we pop them into our cooler/backpack and eat them later at a picnic bench near the monkeys. So disappointed in Salad and Go. It used to be so good and now it's just yuck! This location is super slow. They say oh no we can't substitute without charge. For example, feta instead of blue cheese on my cob salad. Also, what the heck is up with the pulled chicken only now? I ordered a cob and it came with super salty pulled chicken with fatty skin all over it. I tried pulling the skin off but it doesn't come off. I literally had to take all the chicken out of the salad when I got home and rinse it off because it was so so so salty. I asked the girl and she said oh we don't have that chicken anymore just the pulled chicken. Service is quite slow, order is incorrect. I waited an extensively long time in the drive thru. Arriving at the order window, I received the famous Gen Z service, no hello / order confirmation / goodbye, just ask for the card and hand me someone else's order. I don't need to patronized but there is a reason for some levels of communication. Had to go to the outdoor order window, wait another extensively long time. Salad and go is a really great, quick, healthy, and cheap lunch option! They have a variety of salads to choose from and you can pick your protein and also make the salad a wrap. I like their seasonal salads. Their breakfast wraps are good too, but it's annoying that they only serve them til 11am on the weekend. Can we talk about the ranch dressing? Why is it consistently watery, watered down? Would love if it was thick enough to actually stay on the lettuce. What a complete SCAM I ordered the plain hummus and received a SCOOP (online it clearly shows what you receive and I've this ordered before) so I called because there was clearly a mistake however the employee said that is the correct amount. Save your money and go elsewhere to get hummus unless you want to pay $5 for a scoop and no help from any employee. I've loved every salad I've tried: The Beet Goes On Superfood Salad, Roasted Autumn, BBQ Ranch, the Greek, and the Thai. I also tried their Sweet Heat Breakfast Bowl which was SO yummy! The packet of Spicy Adobo Sauce makes it delicious! I also really appreciate the coffee for $1.49 (hot or cold brew!) I even drove thru just for the coffee last week. This is just a review on the strawberry lemonades. They have begun making their strawberry lemonades, I would assume, with water. The taste is very distinct, and makes it impossible to drink. Very gross. Please return to your old recipe. I primarily go to salad and go because of their frozen strawberry lemonades, now this is no longer a viable option. The Thai salad is what I order alot and this location delivered very nicely. Mostly crunchy lettuce with good chicken and peanut dressing. They also had a $1 seasonal Prickly Pear lemonade which was worth a try. Line went fast after staff returned from mysterious break. read more

I was in their drive thru on the 17th of August and I had to stop my car right in the middle of the drive thru because it was so hot! Who I think is the manager came out and tried to push my car by himself in probably what was 110 degrees. He was going in to get another male to help when the driver 2 cars behind me helped him push me around the facility in to their parking lot!!! As if that wasn't enough the manager and other employees had me come into the facility. Got me a chair, a drink and offered me food. Salad and Go in general is great, but the new location is lacking my favorite feature: the online order drive-through pick up line! I had to park, get out of my car, and actually walk twelve steps. I'm clearly spoiled by the PV Mall shop, but was in this area for the afternoon. This area of Indian School is becoming a vegan hot spot! I always use the "build your own" option in the app because I'm so fussy. I love their tofu! And my other regular vegan toppings are croutons, black beans, beets (when available), carrots and if available - fruit or sweet potatoes (seasonal). And I get the balsamic vinaigrette. But - an ongoing gripe - please add more vegan salad dressings! The newest one looked great, until I found out it had honey! Why not use agave? I cannot believe how fast the line is here! You are in & out of the drive through in 2 minutes! The price is also great! You can get plenty of food for under $10 easily! I got the southwest chicken salad which was yummy. However, there were a few harder pieces of lettuce but was still overall pretty good. I also got a 24 oz Cold brew for $1!!!!!! That's insane! We've been coming to this location since it opened but no more. The salads, which get smaller and smaller have doubled in price in the last 6 months. Their business model was originally lower/lowering prices, and their salads used to be huge and that's what they were known for. That's all gone now. Last week we tried this place again, and 2 items were missing from both salads, and god knows why we went again this morning and got 3 breakfast 'burrito's', all of which were the size of the salsa packet they give you. See photo attached. We even ordered an extra salsa for each one since you used to be able to use 2, but that wasn't necessary today. I think they finally got it. So over the past few years since Salad and Go started doing breakfast I tried their bowls and burritos several time only to be disappointed by cold tasteless breakfast. A year ago I tried their bowl again as they changed their breakfast menu, it was cold. I didn't feel like a normal fast food breakfast and I didn't want to spend a lot so I thought maybe I'll give them a try and they'll improve like they did their menu. Well, what do you know. I usually love your soups! The Chicken pot pie leaves much to be desired. Please cut out the Red onions I enjoy them in other things but it's very overpowering in this soup. Also, too much thyme. I love the concept...have had many good salads here and was excited for a location close to home. However...my husband recently got food poisoning (4/28/22)...I'm not sure if it was the chicken or the lettuce. I know quite a few people who have also had this experience...at different locations. Please examine your cleaning procedures. Since there isn't a phone number listed for the location at 32 St/Indian School, I had to write this review as we likely won't be coming back after this experience. Great food and service! Honestly, if that were all I were reviewing, this would be an easy 5-Star. If you come here when they aren't busy, 5-stars all the way! If it's busy, prepare yourself for some frustrations. First, the drive-thru line quickly backs into busy Indian School Road. This creates a potentially dangerous situation. When it's like this, anybody wanting to make a left turn into the drive-thru lane is going to get screwed by people already waiting in line to make a right. It's got be be very frustrating. Parking on-site is also really poor. They only have about 6-7 spaces and it appears the employees take up half or more of them. As of writing this review, you cannot walk up to the window to order. If you don't want to wait in the drive-thru you have to order on their app, wait 10+ minutes, then ring a bell at the window when your time comes up. The positive is that the app is kickass. Very easy to place an order after creating an account. The only downfall of this location is ACCESS during rushes. I would recommend the management ask employees to find other parking arrangements so patrons have better access to pick up orders. read more

We've been anticipating the arrival of this new location since it is close to home! $5.74 large salads (including protein)? Yes, please! I can't even make one for that price. I hadn't been to a Salad & Go before, but I love their quick and healthy concept. Drive-thrus are such a plus with a toddler! I also love that their menu is set versus a build-your-own, pay-per-topping situation. It makes it easier to decide and you can remove something if you don't like it. Also, every salad is the same price! I ordered their Caesar salad with buffalo chicken and it was so yummy! I'm very impressed with the size of the salads for the price. They do not skimp on the toppings. I can't say it was the best salad that I've ever had in my life but for a quick and easy option, it was great. Oh and did I mention that they use organic ingredients? For that price? Yup. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo but I'll be back and will take one then! One of the key principles in good business is giving more in VALUE than you take in PAYMENT. $5.74 for a salad that is so big and delicious you could eat it for 2 meals is so much value without a large cost.
