Nice place, beautiful restaurant. Ramen was good but lacked some flavor. Would like more seating . Service was good nothing special seemed a little self serve type of dining experience.

This may be the bottom three Ramen shops I've ever visited. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen (pronounced ton-koh-tsu). The noodles tasted like they were frozen, not fresh, and they were overcooked. There was not very much depth in the broth and it was very much watered down with very little tare to season the broth. The egg was actually great and the chashu was about average. I did not really expect much from a 24 hour spot however I was very hopeful.

We've seen this place a couple of times because it's one of the few places that are open late. Unfortunately, we don't think we'll be coming back. The food was not worth the price as the ramen was average at best. The only thing that stood out to me was the taste of the pork chashu, but even that was dry. The service was mediocre as it's more of a take out place. Servers only take your order but everything is your job like getting water and cleaning up your own bowls. The worst part of this experience was definitely the bathroom. It had the worst smell like a mixture of bleach and urine. I wouldn't recommend this place and I'd suggest cup noodle if you're craving ramen at midnight.

Came here after a show and it really hit the spot. Food, service and location are great. I also love that the take out is self service. When you're finished you can easily grab everything yourself. They have dining inside and outside and the cutest patio area! It's also in such a beautiful part of downtown riverside, so there's lots of other shops and fun things to check out after you're finished!

Extremely mid ramen to say the least .. was not worth paying $70 for .. and $13 for 5 wings ?? Probably my fault for even saying yes to that . But if it's going to be that expensive , I would hope to be impressed .. in terms of service and atmosphere , the only area that seems to stay cool is the entrance where there's a fan blowing but anywhere past that you should expect to be sweating while you eat . Service and all the cute art on the walls were probably the only highlight of this place . ‍

We came at about 2:30am, this place was so busy, lots of drunk people. We ordered 2 tonkatsu with pork egg bean sprouts and corn & a can of soda. It came out to $45 It didn't take forever but people were complaining.

Decided to come here for lunch after the Farmers Market! It was a great choice! So much flavor! Although the chili sauce will take everything up a notch! The atmosphere is very creative! You order at the front when you walk in and then go find your seat! I believe this is one of the few 24 hour food locations!

Late-Night Spot With Cool Vibes, but Food Could Be Fresher Saku Ramen is definitely a cool hangout spot in downtown Riverside. The aesthetic is trendy, the atmosphere is chill, and one of the biggest perks is that they're open 24 hours -- perfect for late-night snacks, walking around downtown with friends, or grabbing something after a night out. I went on Halloween, and they were super busy, so I understand the rush. Because of that, it took about 30 minutes to place my order. The staff was still very friendly despite the crowd, and even the security guard was really chill and talked with us while we waited, which made the time pass faster. I will say the food wasn't as fresh as I hoped for that night, but given how packed it was, I'm willing to give them another try. The vibe, the convenience, and the 24-hour service make it a spot I'd come back to. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a fun place to end your night -- I just hope the food is fresher

We were staying at the Mission Inn and decided to go over and try the Ramen from this place. I have heard a lot of good things and that it stays open late and we wanted to try it. We went there was a short line maybe about 15 minutes before we got to the front to go ahead and place our order we did an order to stay there. We found a seat in the inside Received our food pretty quickly. Everything was really good. I just wish my noodles were a little softer. that was my only complaint other than that we loved it and would definitely recommend this place and be back.

Delicious ramen , it really hits the spot Wish there was more better seating inside though cause the only seating that i actually like is the ones in the far back and there are only 2 tables that are not booths , the booths are nice but its not short people friendly so i usually drag a chair over to rest my feet on lol but overall delicious ramen i love it and its pretty fast too

We almost always order the pad Thai, and I'm normally the volcanic ramen guy, but since it was Valentine's Day, I went with the falling ramen instead. Still full of flavor, just without the spice level trying to prove a point. We actually showed up about an hour before our reservation, which was already early for Valentine's dinner. The moment I told Lily the reservation was under Jacqueline, she lit up and said, "Oh, she's my favorite," and sat us right away. That's the kind of place this is. Service over the past year can be quick or a little slower depending on the night, but we never feel rushed, and that relaxed pace is part of why we like it. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, and they do a great job with allergy-friendly options. There's a gluten-free menu, and peanuts only show up if you request them. Since our daughter has food allergies, she actually looks forward to when we go here and usually puts in her own to-go order. From the moment we walked in, something felt off, and it quickly became clear the restaurant was significantly understaffed. We later learned the same person was acting as the cook, cashier, and server. It took over an hour for any food to begin coming out to our table, and even after nearly two hours, meals were still trickling out. I never received my food at all. What made this even more frustrating was that there was no clear way to communicate with staff. There was no cashier available, and we weren't able to let anyone know we wanted to cancel the order given how long it had been. My spouse ended up paying for a meal I never received. After waiting that long, I eventually had to leave without eating dinner at all. I came home and had a protein shake instead, which is not how anyone expects their night to go after going out to eat. To be fair, others in our party who did receive their food said it tasted very good, which makes this even more disappointing. I understand that this may have been an off night, but the lack of communication, excessive wait, and inability to resolve the issue made for a really poor experience. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

Honestly most people know ramen expectations should be low when you order it as take out but i think they do a great job with how they package their takeout! I've tried their normal lemonade and their mango passionfruit sweet tea and personally i like their sweet tea more! The drink portion is nice and large! Definitely not overly sweet and it always hit with my ramen. I've tried most of their ramens, i like the fact that they have different style noodles. Personally i think their wavy noodles go better with the rich broths like the miso and the Tokyo style one (a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu ) and the straight noodles go god with their clear broth like the shoyu or the yuzu shio. I normally get their shoyu mostly because it gives me the least acid reflux, but that's nothing with their food it's just a health issue for me :( i would say my favorite is their Tokyo style broth. I think it has a nice balance of flavor and the wavy noodles just soak up that broth nicely. I've only had their appetizers on takeout so they're not super fresh, and not really a main stopper for me. The large is good but i wish it was a little bigger with the pieces. Sometimes they're just small and idk it feels like it's missing something. I got the opportunity to stop here yesterday after my tattoo, and the service was decent. Got seated quickly and my order taken quick as well. My food took a few minutes to be made but nothing crazy of a wait. Overall i had a good time, i do go on a Saturday around 7:30 pm so not sure if that matters. For take out i do recommend ordering min 30 minutes before pickup because i do feel like it can take a minute, but thats the nice part of take out that you can order in advance. I think for Eastvale/ norco ramen this place a nice broth and noodles. And it's not overly oily or salty :)
