We looked over the menu and they had a good variety of selections. We ordered a variety of Apps and rolls (They give full rolls! 8 pieces) Whatever they sprinkled in the Tuna Tartare made it taste like Larb (YUM!) My favorite was the Yellowtail Jalapeno. So good. All the raw fish melted in my mouth. Staff was great and attentive too. We got refills on our water in a timely manner, we didn't have to wait for staff to order because someone was always around. We decided to have dinner at Sake this evening. Before our food even arrived, I noticed an ant on the table. At first it didn't bother me much, but once we started eating, we began seeing more ants crawling up from the wall and onto the table. This made it very difficult to enjoy our meal, and although we originally wanted to order more, we didn't feel comfortable continuing to eat under those conditions. We brought it to the server's attention. She apologized and suggested it might be from kids eating ice cream, which didn't make much sense to us. They moved us to another table so we could finish what we already had, but by that point we had lost our appetite and our confidence in the restaurant's cleanliness. A server mentioned they would give us a large discount, but when we received the check, it was only 15%. While that might seem fine to some, physically experiencing ants on the table during our meal was very upsetting, and we felt it wasn't an appropriate response. When we politely mentioned this at the register, the cashier was understanding and ultimately adjusted the discount to 50%. Overall, the staff were polite and apologetic, and the food itself was decent. However, the cleanliness and sanitation are very questionable based on what we experienced. read more

The food was good overall, though the miso soup could use a bit more flavor; just a touch more miso would make it perfect. The food was decent. The wait time for said food was horrendous. Ordered 2 rolls. One came in 20 minutes. The 2nd came 50 minutes after the order. Stick to Fuji's or that spot at Concord Mall. Saw this new place in the area decided to give it a try for their lunch buffet. Parking is easy, big parking lot up front. Got seated right away. Price is very decent for all you can eat Japanese food . Waitress super friendly and explained the menu to us. Different than Fuji Sushi buffet, Sake will actually serve you the food instead of waiting in line at the sushi belts. No sashimi for lunch buffet, but still tons of varieties to choose from the menu. Rolls and sushi are pretty good, they don't put a lot of rice in their rolls, which is great! However the skewers are bit on the smaller size and bit dry. But overall, tons of options even for lunch buffet and food are delicious!! I was really surprise by this restaurant. I heard a lot of people liked it. My opinion is the quality of food is not good. The chicken fried rice had very little vegetables and chicken in it, it was mostly rice. The roll I got was awful. Understanding it was imitation crab but I usually like imitation crab but this was not good at all. I also asked to make it a crunchy and they didn't. If you like an all you can eat this is probably a good place to go but the quality of food is not good. The service was just ok. We had to ask for water every time we ran out. I mostly ordered nigiri, sashimis, tempuras and everything that I have ordered were good. Most of the time, food was served fast. Servers were accommodating as well for our group that dined there. Great experience! Nearly full Restaurant on Friday night but no wait. We were surprised to get full sized rolls and was thankful that we didn't order too much as there is a charge for wasting food. I do wish they would have warned us about the full sized rolls. My preference for AYCE is to be able to try more things on the menu and for smaller rolls. And worst fear is if there was a roll I didn't like I didn't want to be forced to finish it. Fortunately everything was soooo tasty and flavor combinations spot on. The sashimi is also great quality and fresh. Overall I think we got our money's worth but are not big eaters to begin with. At over $110 after 18% tip for two people with soda drinks, I wouldn't eat this as often as I'd like because it is not worth it if you dont have a big appetite. I think instead of $40/pp, it really should be $30/pp. If you average out 2-3 full sized rolls per person at $15 each (I'm guessing), that's what you would have to finish minimum for $30-$45 value. The rolls thank goodness are not rice heavy but even then I couldn't finish that many. Highly recommend their smaller plates including tempura, wings, sashimi which is easier to polish off or make sure you share the large rolls with others at your table so you can get more variety in. When they say order as much as you want, they mean it. So take your time and enjoy the experience. They are super attentive so no need to order a huge order at once. read more

Waited 45mins to get my order of sushi rolls. Had to cancel my first order of sashimi after 1 hour 15mins wait so I could leave. I understand they are new and trying to work efficiently. They kept giving out the same order to our table when we already received it so it gets sent back to the front. They can back with orders we never put in as well. Servers are very nice and quick but I don't think they keep track of the orders sent to the tables so it will slow down everyone orders. Food isnt bad but the wait isn't worth it, they need to rethink their service to make sure all orders are complete for each table. I don't eating recommend right now but maybe give them a few months to get a feel on how to service customers. read more

Despite the food and atmosphere being great, I have to leave 1 star for the wait. It wasn't the wait to be seated but the wait for my orders. I was there for over 1.5 hour just to get my money's worth and watched as groups around me received their food and checked on more often. At first I understood I may have been lower priority due to being a single person and it was somewhat of a busy night, however, I later saw single diners and new groups get their food in half to 1/3 of the time I waited and wait times only slightly improved for me even after more groups left. I have to assume it was my server who kept forgetting about me or prioritized groups above me, despite being nice overall. She was an older lady with black hair and black/white glasses. I truly hope this had nothing to do with me wearing a Pride shirt, which I didn't think much of until later on. I didn't ask because I was irritated and just wanted my bill to leave.
