Parking is easy since it's next to a public lot. When we arrived at 10am on a Sunday the street parking was also plentiful. Walking in you are met with marble flooring, tall ceilings with many chandeliers, black table clothes and gold utensils. We ordered the passion fruit French toast and the Nutella waffle. We were also given complimentary olive bread with radish butter! Service was very attentive. I really loved the Nutella waffle! It had that homemade taste and a slight crunch. You could taste how fresh the raspberries are. You can see the black flecks of real vanilla. Same with the passion fruit. You can see and taste this is a real passion fruit. It's not some jam or preserve. Of the two we enjoyed the waffle more. I think the French toast could have been improved by adding another slice of bread to help even out the proportion of bread to the delicious toppings. Very pleased with our choices and would be very happy to come back and get them again! For now the menu looks quite pared down. We were asked if we'd like the have something to drink like a mimosa (not printed on the menu yet). It'll be very exciting to see how Diosa develops. read more

I don't know where to begin. Regardless to where I begin, five stars does not do this place justice. The decor and ambience is beautiful, elegant and clean. The Service is exceptional. The owner's Veronica and Jillian are such a joy to talk to about the history of the restaurant, their plans for the future and I am here for all of it. A true Farm to Table restaurant serving brunch Thursday through Sunday 10 AM to 2 PM. I was a proud, big back diner today- ordering may items on the menu. *The deviled eggs were delicious with an unexpected punch from the pickled onions; plenty of bacon for that smoky delicious flavor. *The Nutella waffle was delicious. I asked for the Nutella, strawberry, whipped cream, and nuts on the side. Next time I will get them on the waffle, they were delicious. The waffle is crispy and tastes like it is made from scratch- no box mixes in this kitchen. *The charcuterie board- I'm speechless!!! From the pomegranate seeds that went perfectly with the feta and candied almonds to the Rosette of prosciutto and a smoky sliced salami that went perfectly with the olive bread. *The olive bread- let me say it again.. THE... OLIVE... BREAD!!!!!! I need two loaves and I need a full container of the radish butter. It is just that good- full of olives, flavor, and something I can't put my finger on, but it is delicious. ~I am not normally a radish fan, but Diosa and their chef have made me a huge fan.~ * The Iris was delicious. I was a bit of a piggy! I was super excited to try Diosa in the old Bank building. Hopefully they'll be around for a while!! Very cutesy place. I was surprised at the table clothed tables. I guess I wasn't expecting that. I entered on Sunday mid morning and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't crowded. I was greeted promptly and ordered a guava mimosa to start! There was edible glitter in the guava rose cubes! Nice touch. Then I ordered the charcuterie (okay, not what they call it) and did not share it with anyone! It was all delicious and they even brought over more bread when they noticed all the stuff I had left! I ate the majority of it. Left VERY stuffed. Service was on point. Water was constantly refilled. They were always checking on me. I enjoyed it. Now I wish friends could have met me here so that I could try more dishes! read more

Omg, I have been waiting decades to see something come in here after the Pinole Flower Cart (IYKYK) ~ so happy to see this space and place now under ownership as Diosa (meaning 'goddess' in Spanish) restaurant. I had a meeting with others here and was able to take in the beauty of this building with no crowd as they're in the soft opening process. Such kind service and quite honestly, delicious small bites! Our table shared the deviled eggs, marg pizza, and Caesar salad. Oh! And the most satisfying house-baked olive bread to start. I can't wait to watch how the menu, service, cocktail menu, and overall vibe transforms over the next few months. As a fellow Pinolian, it's so awesome to see small businesses take steps in the direction of providing new spots for the neighborhood to build community and have truly good food. The farmers market takes place on Saturdays in the lot adjacent to the building, so also coming back for brunch before/during/after market fun would be ideal as well. The house bread is freshly baked in house !! We were treated to a lovely olive bread so full of olives accompanied by a radish butter ! Great texture & crust !!! We shared a pizza Marguerita topped with/fresh mozzarella, tomatoes & a basil pesto & the End of summer salad : wonderful refreshing salad w/ arugula, multi colored Bibb lettuce, tomatoes, grapefruit , avocado, pomegranate, pickled red onions & a light vinaigrette !! Attractive presentation & so tasty !! There is a very elegant look w/ the marble floors & simple but elegant tables & chairs ! We came to DIOSA in Pinole for a Sunday brunch with a group of five, and it was such a vibe. We instantly loved the space! It used to be the Bank of Pinole & it's sparkeld out! The space is bright, stylish, and full of good energy. We started with some coffee that quickly turned into mimosas and Bloody Marys (as it should). Tried a little bit of everything. Avocado toast, waffles with eggs and bacon, French toast, those delphyne eggs were some devilish eggs! We also got the Green Goddess Salad with roasted chicken, and the T-Club Sando with extra bacon (that bacon hit perfectly). Our server was super attentive. She kept drinks full, gave menu recs, and checked in. The restaurant manager also came by a few times. She was friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming, which really added to the experience. Shout out to Jill! We didn't get to try everything, so we're already planning to come back for the pizzas (margarita and pepperoni are calling), the Caesar salad, and the Demeter board because I'm always here for a solid spread. DIOSA delivered a great brunch, great energy, and great service. Perfect spot for catching up with friends over good food and cocktails. I will be back often. We came back to celebrate my mom's birthday! She had the best time and we all enjoyed the food and drinks. Our server, Amanda, was so attentive and nice, just like our first time here. We ate inside this time - I loved the flower decorations and crystal wall lights. We had the Demeter board, chicken sandwich, Margherita pizza, green goddess salad, Nutella waffle, and passion fruit waffle. For drinks (they have a drink menu now!) we had the Paradise and Iris mocktails. The Demeter board was, again, SO good and pretty to look at! Amanda remembered that we don't eat pork and offered a beef substitute for the prosciutto. I enjoyed the sandwich, pizza, and salad, but the waffles?? Omg also SO good! I definitely have to go back for the Nutella one. As for the drinks, I preferred the Paradise. I'd say that the Iris is for those looking for something tea-based and not sweet. At the end of the meal, my mom was given some ice cream on the house since Amanda found out that it was my mom's birthday. We love Diosa and will be back! read more

Food was fresh and tasty - I loved the vinaigrette and shallot topping for the eggs and the charcuterie board had a delightful blend of meats, cheeses, compote, nuts and olives. Four of us stumbled on this new restaurant one Sunday morning and were happily surprised. The food was delicious and the decor was fresh and beautiful. Service was excellent. They moved tables around outside because we brought our dog. The sun was out, the food delicious and the ambiance in the remodeled historic Pinole bank made it very unique. First of all we walked in and the ambience is beautiful, the server seated us and was very attentive.. the Bloody Mary was excellent. I had the Poblano soup it was very flavorful. This was our first time here so I didn't know that the eggs and bacon didn't come with anything else, I would have ordered another dish. My partner had Caesar Salad with Chicken, the dressing was very flavorful. Everything was very fresh. The servers were very friendly and provided great customer service and the owner came over greeted us and told us about the story of the restaurant and her ambitions for the restaurant, very heartwarming. Very nice atmosphere and staff. We received a complimentary sampling of hummus and fresh baked bread. I would definitely order this as an appetizer. Had a delicious pepperoni pizza. This is NOT thin crust, as so it took awhile to bake. it is a thick crust but its really like a bread, not a standard pizza crust. I would suggest the staff to advise baking takes a little longer, but its totally worth it! read more
