Went for a late breakfast, food was great as well as the staff. Coffee on point. Ambience was great. Ordered basic breakfast entree which didn't disappoint. Small but very nice with great music.

I must confess. I've been here a handful of times and I keep forgetting to post my review. I have ordered a variety of items such as the Fettuccine Alfredo and Steak Sandwich. Both are good but what keeps me coming back is the Oscar Chicken. It is so delicious, from the Cajun Sauce that the Chicken is smothered in to the Real Crab Chunks packed in between the Chicken is just perfection Besides the Oscar Chicken, everytime I have placed an online order the food has always been ready. The staff is also very welcome and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean too.

They charge extra for any dish made with eggs because of the egg shortage. Is there still a shortage? Basically, every dish is surcharged because everything is made with eggs? Lol The place is nice and tucked away in a small strip. The prices are not surprising with the rest of the market. I ordered the Benedict which was cooked nicely, but lacked flavor. It needed some spice or more salt, something. Nice service, nice interior, but not a place I'd visit frequently.

Food was pretty good. Service was good as well. We came in for Father's Day. My kids loved the food and stuffed themselves. No bad experience at all. A great place to look for good food.

The welcoming gracious owner was amazing. Made us feel as special guests. A1 service. I ordered the shrimp crab croissant melt. It was perfection. Served with a green mixed salad, tomatoes, mushrooms & Italian vinegarette dressing. Beverage choice was iced tea. I'd certainly return soon, to try other dishes

This restaurant is so cute. It's in a little strip mall, but when you go in, they decorated it, Trendy and modern. You forget you're in a strip mall . Add great customer service. I ordered a mimosa and huevos rancheros. I already forgot the flavor of the mimosa, but it wasn't your typical orange juice mimosa, it was delicious and so were the huevos rancheros. In fact, I tried everyone else's meal and felt mine was the best choice.

Will definitely come back again! service; Nice foods; Nice ambiance; everything just out of expectation from that area. Me and my family came with low hope during the thanksgiving holiday, but everything just so great! Service was very very good; Food-wise, the coffee isn't those rough coffee from other restaurants, this here is very smooth and perfect, the foods are absolutely delicious; The restaurant is small but the inside looks so Italy. Most importantly, the prices are reasonable from today's economic impact.

This is my first time rating our Awesome Sunday Breakfast Spot. We order via DoorDash from Melys just about EVERY Sunday. One of my personal favorites is the Ham Frittata. It is fresh, delicious and a large portion size.

Mely's Cafe We were looking for a brunch place in San Pablo and we stumbled upon Mely's Cafe. We pulled up on a Saturday morning and thought, "we've been here before". Mely's is in the spot that Blue Bay Thai Cuisine used to occupy. We ate brunch here and were very happy with most of the dishes. They told us to come back some other time at night since they switch over to Italian fare. Recommended: Benedicts are one of my favorite breakfast foods and they make great ones here. Perfectly poached eggs, interesting pairings, and we'll seasoned. I gave the edge to Crab over Smoked Salmon, but both were delicious. Croque Madame - a ham and cheese sandwich with french toast as bread and two runny over easy eggs on top. Heavy, but satisfying. Sides were all great - super crispy hash browns, crispy and seasoned home fries, fresh fruit Fresh squeezed orange juice Things that were alright: Nutella pancakes - fluffy buttermilk pancakes with Nutella spread on top. Better in theory than in practice. I think regular, fruit, or the pecan ones would have been a better choice for us. Croissant french toast - we liked the flavor, but didn't think the croissant added much - it's not flaky or really anything like a croissant in texture. Overall: What a great find! The restaurant is on the small side, but we were easily able to fit our party of 8 there (we got there when it opened). If you want tasty food and a small twist on brunch, really recommend Mely's.

Both the fried and taters come very lightly salted, and there are salt packets you can grab to add to taste. The Mac and cheese has a nice smoky flavor from the bacon, and I appreciate that it comes in a to-go container. Casual spot with order and pick up at the counter. Nothing in particular to note about service, they were nice. Plenty of comfortable seating inside. I would come back here for the quality of the food alone, but what really makes this place stand out is the affordability, especially for the sides. I'm excited to visit again and bring some friends along.

Very cute burger joint on the corner - you can't Miss it!…read more Lots of custom artwork on the walls - very nice!! My kids and I pulled off the freeway coming from Sacramento specifically to try Johnny Boi's today. I had seen several reviews on Instagram and they were all good which meant I had to give it a try.. We ordered four burgers, two smash burgers and two Fatboy burgers and two orders of tater tots one Oreo cookie shake and an ice cream cone. The total was a little over $70.. ouch! The first thing I thought while paying the bill was these better be some good burgers for that amount of money. The food was ready within a few minutes. I saw them frying the burgers fresh, which was great! I noticed there were tater tots sitting under the heat lamp when we placed our order....i hoped we wouldn't get those because they looked as if they had been sitting for a while. As luck would have it, we did indeed get those tater tots and as luck would also have it, they were indeed cold. Bummer - cause if you know me, you know I like my food fresh and hot! The burgers were just ok. They didn't have any seasoning and the smash sauce was a bit spicy. Even though I watched them put the meat on the grill which I thought was our burgers, the burgers came out just warm. The cheese was barely melted and the bun, although very soft was also cold. They gave us a small cup of ranch dressing and it was delicious!!! The last thing I got was a Soft serve ice cream cone. It reminded me of the ice cream cones that you get on a cruise ship. SOOOOOO GOOD!!! Overall, The kids rated them a 6/10. Not too bad, but I don't think we need to go back.

Nothing fancy, just basic, hearty diner food. It's Denny's, Black Bear Diner, iHop, or Bob Evans without logos and franchise baggage. I had the country breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham steak, and wheat toast. It was all exactly what I expected and wanted. The wait staff are friendly and attentive, and the owner is a sweet lady running the register and folding napkins around silverware. Outside, Sukie's is hardly noticeable, tucked away at the edge of a strip mall parking lot. Inside, it's like every diner I've ever been in. The waitress was all right, but kond of creepy. She was a dark haired kind of hibillly type and probably kind, but suspicious of some. What upset me the most was that they added the tip in automatically before I could approve anything. And a generous tip at best. i was planning on tipping ten dollars, but they added five without asking. That I think is illegal, but she didn't care. A lot of whites will do this stuff because they can get away with it, especially white women. i didn't say anything but did add another three dollars and wished her a good day. I don't think i will go back and i want to know if anyone has had trouble about them packing the bill before presenting it to you and if it was this woman.

We started with the bread basket with compound butter, which was a great start. I ordered the Little Gem salad and the thick cut pork chop, while BB went with the salmon. Our server, Sheila, mentioned it was her first day as a waitress, and she did an amazing job -- attentive, kind, and confident throughout the experience. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't quite match that same level during this visit. The pork chop was significantly undercooked and not safe to eat, so I wasn't able to finish it. The accompanying components -- including the polenta underneath and the warm mix of green beans, tomatoes, and arugula -- had good flavor, which made it a bit disappointing that the main protein missed the mark. Service overall was great, and I still appreciate the concept of giving culinary students a platform to showcase their skills. That said, proper cooking -- especially with pork -- is critical, and this is an area that needs attention. Overall, a mixed experience: strong service and a great concept, but the kitchen execution needs more consistency
