Coming from the Bay with tons of pho choices, this one was a little disappointing. Our party all got pho, the broth was on the sweet side and lack of flavors. Definitely the sweetest broth I've ever had, in a bad way. The beef in the soup was kind of tough and chewy. Service was alright but they brought out all the noodles and never brought the appetizer shrimp spring rolls. I had to go ask them at the counter. I think they forgot about it because it took a while to come, there was not explanation or apology. Probably won't be coming back since nothing stood out.

Random stop. Average rating for food and price. The service is amazing. Great service and attention. Average Viet restaurant

Came here for some pho after a long workweek, and the Medium #2 (rare steak pho) totally hit the spot - absolute comfort food! I also tried their "new" garlic pork spring rolls and they were BOMB! Topped it all off with a taro boba shake to satisfy my sweet tooth :) The pho here is so good, a fellow customer approached me at my table asking what I ordered - because it looked delicious - so she could order it too! I didn't even add any condiments; the broth is so flavorful on its own, the rice noodles perfectly al dente, the beef tender and savory, with onions, cilantro, sprouts, basil and jalapeños to round out the dish. The restaurant is cozy with plenty of seating, and the staff are friendly and attentive. They also have bánh mì sandwiches, noodle & rice plates, and other variations of soup. Would 10/10 recommend this spot to fix your Vietnamese food craving in Salinas!

There was a ROACH in my food. I pulled back the plastic on my spring rolls and a roach crawled out. Huge safety concern and it seems by the photos on here this is not the first time someone's found a roach in their food. I am disappointed I have to write this review because I love the food and they're basically the only Vietnamese spot on Uber Eats. But this is just gross. I hope they can get this problem sorted!

Don't get me wrong the person at the counter who took my order was really sweet! Walking in it looked nice and cozy. I took my order to go thought . A drink and food brought my total to 23$'s with some change. - I got a brown sugar milk tea with some boba which was not too sweet but not too bland just right for me at least! -I also ordered the vermicelli noodles with shrimp AND beef. Which I got to say I was a little baffled at the fact that I was only given 2 shrimps. I don't know if it's just how it is here or the fact that I'm used to getting a little more protein when it comes to these foods.. but none the less first time there it was alright I might just go for boba here and there and maybe some noodles if I'm REALLY craving it.

Very cozy and quiet, I enjoyed a delicious lunch. Service was attentive and polite.. I enjoyed shrimp and pork spring rolls, the pork was delicious. My fried egg rolls were perfect and they provided plenty of lettuce for wrapping.

We decided to give them a another try after getting served half cooked chicken. And we will not be returning anymore staff could have handled the situation better instead of brushing it off. We found live roaches near utensils of this restaurant. They did not acknowledge when I was trying to have one of the servers only took it seriously when I said it a bit louder for them to hear me

Tried this pho spot on a Sunday afternoon and it had a good amount of people dining in. The service was a little slower, but the food came out pretty fast. The pho here is okay (I've had better) but their veggies + garlic noodles were really good 10/10

the banh mi was delicious. perfectly balanced. pork chops were average! you can't mess up pork chops imo. the pho was mediocre, definitely itched a craving but it's not my favorite place to get it. the drinks were BOMB and the server was very polite!

The noodles were fresh, not clumpy at all, and very enjoyable to eat. I also asked for extra beef, and they definitely did not skimp on the portions, which was a huge plus. The spring rolls were another standout fresh, tightly rolled, and well-made. My only small criticism is that I wish the peanut sauce had a little more flavor and punch to it. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was efficient and the staff stayed friendly and attentive throughout. The ambiance is on the smaller side, but the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be coming back!

Noodles were cooked perfectly, and the steak was tender with no complaints at all, just a really solid bowl of pho. The spring rolls were fresh and well-made, paired nicely with the peanut sauce. Simple but done right. Tried bun bo hue for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The spicy lemongrass broth had great depth without being too heavy or overly citrusy. Loved the mix of beef and pork, it made the dish feel hearty but still balanced. Only minor downside was the noodles, I personally prefer thinner ones, but that's just preference. 9.5/10 Absolutely…read moreamazing, hands down the best Thai food in Salinas! We ordered the Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and Nam Sai, and every dish hit in its own way. Starting with the Pad Thai, we ordered it with beef and it was easily the star of the meal. Perfectly cooked soft noodles with a savory, slightly sweet sauce that was incredibly well balanced. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the addition of diced nuts added a great crunch and texture that tied everything together beautifully. The Panang Curry was also excellent. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor. It came with chicken, green beans, and bell peppers, all of which tasted fresh and perfectly cooked with a nice bite. The curry sauce was smooth and comforting, soaking into the dish incredibly well. A must-order for curry lovers. Lastly, the Nam Sai reminded us a lot of pho. On its own, it was a bit light and lacked salt, but once we added our own seasonings, it really came alive. After adjusting it to taste, it was delicious, comforting, and perfect for warming up. Service was fast and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. The ambiance was beautiful. A very nice, welcoming spot to enjoy a meal.

We were sat quickly and given menus, but took our waiter quite some time to come get orders which included drinks/order together. I was in the mood for soup and had their Tom Kha a few times so originally thought about ordering that, but decided to try their Tiew Tom Yum. Mistake. My guy ordered the pork Pad Thai, and we also shared a Thai fried rice. We ordered tea, but the waiter forgot the sugar caddy we requested and didnt see him until the food arrived about 20 or so minutes later. We had some requests for side items, etc and he brought everything immediately, but didnt come back to check on us until quite some time where I had almost decided my fate of struggling through my horrible soup. It was the most sour of sour soups I've ever had. Neither one of liked it. When the waiter came around and asked about our meals expressed how much I didn't care for it, and the sour was off putting. He offered the coconut soup, which I believed was Tom Kha. When the soup was dropped off I asked for a to go container as we were done with the rest of our meals almost at that point. Again, that soup came out with an overwhelming sour flavor. Thankfully the Thai rice was delicious, so I ate the rest of that. We didnt see our server again until we were standing up ready to walk up to the front as he was the only server running around, and had one table in the place. I brought up the fact that that soup did not taste like Tom Kha, was it a different version of coconut soup? He asked the cook and she said was the same as Tom Kha. At this point we were tired and decided to go, deciding not to come back for soup ever again. Possibly, not to return in general as were irritated. Our server wasn't horrible, was very polite and was running around, however as so many servers tend to do had a one track mind only focusing on one table at a time instead of circulating his section. As a patron I don't feel like you should ever wait so long to get the check and cash out or not be checked in on more frequently.
