I really want to like it but it was not even MID. Service sucks 1/5 if you dont ask for refill of water they wont give it to you. They dont round to see if you need anything. When done, youll wait forever the server doesnt even give the bill -its as if, like they dont want to get out of that counter. When you tell them the service sucks the lady replied " we get that" Eggroll 2/5 they dont minced the mushroom small enough and youll see string of it. For a child its not a good sight. Fish sauce 2/5 - too salty when they made it (usually it is diluted with sugar and water but theres its more salty ) Peanut sauce - lacking peanut taste Protein Serving 3/5 too small for that price not that good. Vietnamese coffee- DOESNT Taste GOOD AT ALL The vermicelli is undercooked, its a bit hard. The only thing thats ok is the soup taste. 4/5 I know they just opened but man, fix the service at the very least! we didnt go to a fastfood chain,its a sit in restaurant for goodness sakea. read more

This is a very nice venue. It's clean and well laid out, and I appreciate that they have both printed menus, and a wall menu, complete with pictures. It just gives us confidence that we are ordering what we think we're ordering. Service was exceptional, and I greatly appreciated the owner/manager Lydia, who spent some time with us following the meal asking for feedback. We started out with The crispy sweet chili wings, which were fabulous. I got a Thai tea with Boba and my husband tried a mango smoothie. We share our food and the Hubbs ordered the beef and meatball pho. This is where we had a difference of opinion. I loved the broth, but he thought that the five spice was a little too heavy. He loved the meatballs, and I wasn't a fan. Overall, it was still very delicious. I ordered the build your own plate, with rice, beef and pork. That was definitely a favorite. We also got a couple of desserts to take home and eat later which were lovely. There are many other menu items that we want to try at future visits. So this is now on our list of regular places for dining out. He is very much looking forward to trying a future order of the pho using the chicken broth, rather than the beef broth. We appreciate that they are willing to customize orders to ensure we get the best possible meal. read more

This is good for what you get in the area. Most pho places are about 40+ minutes so having one close by makes me so happy! I also LOVE how they have other Vietnamese dishes like banh mi and wings. However, there was a time they ran out of bread. The pho is mediocre and wish there was more meat, but like I said, it's good for what you can get locally. read more

First time here. Came for the Pho. It was absolutely delicious! We eat Pho at least 2x per month. Until now I'd pick it up in PHX on my way home from work. This is some of the best I've had. I am so happy to have this wonderful soup in my home town. I highly recommend it. read more

Stopped by here on soft opening day (3/22) and was excited to see their vegetarian options. The nice man at the counter confirmed that their vegetarian pho broth is housemade and DOES contain the traditional spice aromatic that go in pho broth like clove, cinnamon etc. He also told me that items marked as vegetarian on the menu are definitely vegetarian if indicated as such. He seemed knowledgeable about the ingredients and patient in answering questions. They have several vegan options. I really wanted to try the Saigon vegetarian clay pot special- Slow braised mushrooms and tofu with lemongrass and veggies with rice in a clay pot but my husband and I noticed many people who already ordered didn't receive food so decided to go and come back. When we came back it was even busier so we decided to come back on a day that is not their soft opening day. I did get a glimpse of the vegan pho and it looked good. The vegetarian banh mi has egg based mayo which can be left out. For the vermicelli bowls they can sub the fish sauce with sweet soy sauce. They have a couple tables outdoors in front. It's an order at the counter type place. I will update my review once I try the food but for now leaving this info here. read more

Had been driving to the Phoenix area for the past few years and about half the time I was disappointed with were I ended up at. A couple days ago I discovered Saigon Grub, everything I ordered was great. I would go there everyday if I could afford to eat out all the time. Can't wait to go back. As far as service, I was there for about an hour and I had 3 different people check on me to see if I wanted more veg's or anything else. In most Vietnamese restaurants that I've been to, they don't bring your check to the table, you go to the counter and pay. As soon as I headed to the counter, they were right there to take care of me. Will be back at least twice a month to eat and enjoy the food. read more

The food was good, but the service needs improvement. The staff should pay more attention to customers instead of just standing around. When we finished our meal, we waited for the bill, but no one made eye contact, so I had to walk to the cashier to pay. Also, I didn't get chips, but the other table did. read more

First time here and I had the Saigon Special Hot Stone Pho. Piping hot, good flavor. My wife had the build your own chicken dish with rice and she was quite pleased. The wait staff was a little young and we had to keep asking for water, other than that they were fine. The restaurant was clean, and had good Feng shui. Definitely coming back . read more

We had a fantastic experience at this new spot! I am so glad to not listening to one others comments and try for myself. The atmosphere is warm and clean. The Beef Pho is a standout, the broth is rich and fragrant, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. I am Vietnamese and this pho is the real deal. We also started with the egg rolls, which were wonderfully crispy and packed with flavor. It's definitely kid-approved, too; my children absolutely loved the chicken fried rice and springs rolls. Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The server was incredibly pleasant and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back soon to try the Banh Mi for lunch! read more

Just finished a great meal from there. I had the two proteins and rice meal. The food was delicious, from the rice, the pork and the chicken. The meat was cooked just right and easy to consume. The vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) that came with it were fresh and the sauce was very tasty. No complaints at all. Glad to have a new food experience. read more

I found this place by accident while shopping at Fry's yesterday and was so excited to tell my wife what I had found because we love Vietnamese food for its richness and diversity. Casa Grande has a plethora of mediocre restaurants, some asian, some steak and burger and tons of Mexican. This place looked promising. Nice clean tables with a pleasant atmosphere. Our first trip and maybe our only, was last night around 4:30pm. Ordering was going to be easy because we had already seen the menu but when we arrived we noticed the items we were considering were not available. My wife ordered the "build your own" dish and I had the beef pho with spring roll and boba tea. Spring rolls came fast and were good. My beef Pho came soon after and I was well into my dinner before we had to ask where my wife's plate was. The waitress told us it takes longer to make so she went to check and there it was. This is where it gets disappointing. Her plate looked as if it were thrown together quickly with a bowl full of cold noodles, a little chicken, some lettuce and a side dish of fish sauce that was already at the stable in a bottle. It was not anything like their picture. My beef pho was also disappointing in that I asked for extra veggies and made sure that I was getting thai basil and cilantro. The waitress said, "for sure". No such thing happened. Instead for three dollars extra I got a few bean sprouts, a wedge of lemon (should be lime), and sliced serrano pepper. I asked for my Thai basil and cilantro and what I got was 1 sprig of wilted basil and some chopped cilantro. Now, if any of you have ever eaten at a real Vietnamese restaurant you would be served a side plate filled with assorted vegetables to add to your pho and at no extra charge. The Pho broth was also not authentic in that it was not house made and was way too sweet for beef. Speaking of the beef, it was okay but not much of it. Just a bowl of noodles and broth. If this restaurant is a chain it needs to stop here before it ruins what real Vietnamese food is. Maybe stay with Roadhouse. At least you get what you want. read more

We were excited to try a new place. Especially as we love Asian food. Walking up to the place there were 2 tables outside and much litter and dirty walk area. We went inside and were told to sit where we wanted. A server came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. No introduction, no taking our drink order, no niceties. After placing our order, 2 of the dishes came out ( there were 4 of us) and about 10 minutes later another order came out and then another 10-15 minutes the last order arrived. I felt like I was eating by myself as everyone else was about done. No one came to refill our drinks. We had to get their attention and ask. So service was not great. The food was not up to par. The meat in the pho was not chewable. I believe we received the grizzle part of the meat. The guys did say they could eat the meatball and noodles. Two of us had the fried rice. We weren't sure what kind of rice they used but it was very tiny and not very enjoyable. We really wanted to like this place Hoping for a great option here in town. This is not the place.
