The service was amazing. The owner Tom was a ball of sunshine and very welcoming, amazing hospitality. It honestly felt like we were family. 10 out of 10 will go again!!

My son and his team had a super early soccer game a few weeks back in Casa Grande at Grande Sports Academy. We had a light meal and coffee before the game, but the boys worked up an appetite and by the time the game was over, the parents were also in need of a real meal. We found L'Grande Cafe on Yelp and decided to go check it out. We were all pleasantly surprised with the experience we had at this local gem. It's a fast casual concept so you order at the counter and then find a table to sit at -- either inside or out. We sat inside. We found the service to be attentive, the ambiance pleasant, and the food very delicious with generous portion sizes. I had a breakfast burrito with egg whites (which I so appreciated), and my son had pancakes and bacon. Others in our group had juice, coffee, acai bowls, salads, etc... there is definitely something for everyone on the menu. I would definitely return!

Nice that they have gluten free and they are careful about not cross contamination, just wish they would change up the menu.

This is a nice little café. The staff is friendly and the food is good. It's a little pricey but worth it.

After a bad experience the day prior, I used ChatGPT to input our family requirements: kid-friendly, delicious, unique, 1 vegetarian, not too far off the interstate. We ended up choosing this spot and it did not disappoint! Everything was so delicious and flavorful and had a home cooked vibe. The service was quick and kind. Between all of us we ate 2 gorditas, a CG burrito (with the most delicious red sauce doused on top), shrimp tacos, asada tacos and the famed quesobirria. OH MY GOD. Everything was soooooo good. Even the beans are worth calling out. I was joking we should stop in Casa Grande for the night just so we could go back for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend this place. One weird thing is they only had 3 menus total in the entire restaurant but I'm willing to overlook that for the deliciousness.

I finally made it to Karavela's which I had bookmarked forever! I make constant trips to Casa…read moreGrande and always wanted to try this place because I love Peruvian food. Well, today happened to be Tuesday and outside of their door they had posted specials and one was for Taco Tuesday. Three tacos for about eleven dollars and some change. So I took advantage of that and ordered one adobada and two chicken tacos. The tacos were brought out with three bottles of salsa; one green, two reds at different spice levels. The tacos fell flat! The adobada was hard and crispy with little flavor. The meat was cut too small in my opinion, which may have resulted in its crispness. The two chicken tacos were bland, lacked flavor. I did like the fact they were cut thicker and were meaty and juicy. But it needed seasoning. The sauces also lacked flavor. None were spicy. Even the small bottled red salsa which I assumed was the spicier one wasn't spicy at all. After this experience, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, but you'll never know! Like I said, I love Peruvian food; so maybe that's where their forte lies!
