I have to tell you that this is our favorite restaurant within the Maricopa area. I'd prefer going there to Chandler, but I almost don't want to share the secret. The food there is consistently delicious. The service is always friendly and we never have a problem getting a dining room seat or sometimes we choose to eat in the lounge which is also nice depending on which place is busiest. I have yet to order anything there that isn't delicious, but I love the grilled salmon with baked potato and a side salad or a lemon chicken dish and their desserts are amazing as well. This is actually the first place besides Alaska that I've ever eaten salmon in a restaurant. I have yet to be disappointed and it remains my favorite place. Thank you, Legends! read more

So we chose this place on a whim as we have never been here! All of the previous reviews were outdated but we went with our gut and let me tell you...this restaurant did not disappoint at ALL!! First off HUGE shoutout to our server Noel! Noel was nothing short of exceptional! From the time we entered till dessert we had nothing but the best service! Noel was extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu items as well as the desserts! I couldn't have picked a better place to go for my late birthday lunch! The ambiance was very appealing! Intrigued to see this place at night with the fire pit aglow during the fall/winter seasons! We felt as if we stepped out of the desert for a short period of time! The name Legends says it all! From John Wayne to Willie Mays...they graced the presence of this fine place! I wish there were more advertisement about it as I've lived here in Casa Grande for a year and I literally happened upon it through Yelp, but the reviews weren't too inviting as they were outdated. Came here to enjoy some outdoor seating on my last night of visiting. Service was great. Restaurant was not busy. Shrimp cocktail was delicious (forgot to take a pic). I had the ahi tuna cobb salad and my mom had chicken marsala both were good. read more

We were at Casa Grande for a soccer tournament and decided to try Legends for lunch and dinner. Both times my husband and I split a meal and can't believe the portion size. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with fries for lunch and the 8 oz prime rib with all the trimmings for dinner. We were impressed - fantastic food and service. This review is long overdue. I visited this restaurant a couple weeks ago with my fiancé and toddler. I wanted to compliment Roxy on her fantastic customer service and being very attentive to us. She recommended for us to try the rib eye steak and one of the pastas with the white cream sauce. The food was fantastic and she constantly checked on us to make sure we were doing ok. Lastly, she was so sweet by giving my toddler a coloring book and some crayons which kept my toddler occupied while my fiancé and I ate our dinner. Overall, the restaurant was quiet (which is what we wanted) and food was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back here again the next time we visit Arizona. Stop after golf for lunch and the fish and chips are great and the reuben sandwich is good. We eat in the bar and the pictures of the San Francisco Giants team that did Spring Training there are worth checking out. Also the golf course is user friendly and the staff is wonderful. I haven't been to this hotel and restaurant in decades. Some things remain the same and there are lots of updates. The menu offers decent selection and the service was great for a sleepy mid-week late lunch. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fish was crispy and flavorful, but the portion was a little on the small size. Disappointingly, his request for extra crispy fries was ignored - they were barely brown. I ordered a prime rib panini, which was really good with Gouda and onions and a light horseradish sauce. I got a side salad with blue cheese. It was at best bagged salad mix. Just expected something g a little fresher at this price point. The splurge on onion rings as appetizer was nice. Those were cooked perfectly. The staff and ambience make it worth the trip. read more

The people were all very friendly and nice but the food was abysmal. Our prime ribs ($29 each!) were cold, undercooked and 75% fat. The veggies were Callao cold and 5% kale (yuck!). The baked potatoes, again, were cold. The waitress didn't listen and gave me a rose Zinfandel, I stead of a red, although the manager quickly corrected this error. There was a large group of very noisy people and the waitress agreed to move us to a table a bit more distant, but she might have mentioned we could eat in the best-door bar, which was much quieter. Our total bill was $100 (with tip) from r a, basically, $50 meal. We won't be back. read more

Good food, nice breakfast menu. Had a good omelet. We were looking for a meeting place 1/2 way between Tucson and Scottsdale, this fits the bill. But the location is a bit odd. Isolated on a rural road, outskirts of Casa Grande pops up a slightly dated golf resort/hotel, with bar and restaurant. It's right next to a soccer academy, was the historic former spring training facility for the NY baseball Giants before they moved west and to Scottsdale. That explains the rather odd location. What a truly wonderful experience. Classy restaurant and the food was amazingly excellent. Servers on point with a consistent professional service. Only small hiccup was one of our party ordered the prime rib and was misunderstood and he got the rib eye. He loved it so hiccup was not an issue. Would recommend this diamond at the border or Casa Grande to anyone willing to experience a true classy dining experience. read more

Not even a 1 star. Terrible place. Worst service we have ever had. Waiter brought wrong drinks, no salad dressing with salad, asked for waiter back but never saw him again. Had to ask for other items. Food was overpriced (we had fish & chips) & we waited for almost an hour. The people next to us waited over an hour! We've eaten three times in the past week. Once in the restaurant for breakfast and twice in the bar for dinner. All the food was exceptional! The restaurant server (Chrystal) was also exceptional. She took excellent care of us and was very friendly and treated us like family. read more

We arrived at the Francisco Grande hotel after a long drive and didn't want to go back into Casa Grande for a late dinner so we walked down the lovely lighted path to Legends and we're pleased with what we found. We were seated right away, our waitress, Montanna, was a jewel! The food is very reasonably priced...usually a restaurant associated with a hotel/resort is overpriced. Not so with Legends. We had prime rib that arrived cooked just as ordered! Yah! The beef and Bleu cheese salad was very good. The fresh veggies were served with a cauliflower purée that was so original and delicious, I asked what spices were used and Montanna came back with the directions on how it was prepared and what was in the recipe! What fun! The wine was good. The atmosphere was nice, definitely better than the more upscale chain restaurants. I will be returning for breakfast! This place is a great choice! read more

Steaks were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Calamari appetizer was delicious and tiramisu was a perfect ending.

My wife and I along with three other couples ate dinner at Legends for 2018 Valinties Day. My dinner was okay but very pricey for pasta. My wife ordered the 8 oz.prime rib with bake potato, also very pricey for the smallest cut on the menu. The bake potato and green beans were not cooked all the way so the bake potato was sent back for further cooking. It came back still hard so it was not eaten. The other couple seated across from us had the same baked potato issues so the waitress offered mash potato. The mash potatoes were cold and wouldn't melt the butter. The other guys wife had cold food too which also sent back to be warmed up. My wife and I would never consider returning to this restaurant based upon the cold food and inflated price. My bill was a tad over 79.00 for pasta with chicken, 8 oz prime rib, dinner salad and one glass of house wine. Tip was included on the bill. Never again.... read more
