My hubby and I like coming here. It's the same owners as the previous pho place, but it's slightly cleaner looking bc they replaced some things. They do need to work on their bathroom though. The ribeye pho is overpriced and you only get 5 pieces of meat. It's not worth it. The rice dishes are hit or miss. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not. Their pho is consistently decent and if you get the regular type, it is a lot of meat. The only thing that completely turns me off is the owner. She acts like she owns the place, which she does, but it's never good to act like you do. read more

Came here with a big group, and we called just 10-15 minute before arriving but they were able to accommodate us. The waiters don't speak english too well, so it gives the feel that the food is super legit. But also makes ordering and actually getting service difficult. The food came quickly, since most of us ordered pho, and looking at the dishes that we got, I would say it's not the most clean place of all time (but that tends to be an asian restaurant trend). The pho, though, was good and so were the imperial rolls (comes fried and crunch with a sweet and sour sauce & vegetables)! The spring rolls and the bean sprout omelets were also decent. Not much to love, and not much to hate about this place. Best bet is to park a few streets down because there isn't much street parking. read more

This place was great! Service was nice and the place inside is clean.The restaurant uses nice updated dishwater. Not that it matters much, but it's nice to have. I order the Kobe Pho with thick noodles and garlic Bok Choy. It was delicious!!! They also have a TV. It was nice since the basketball game was on. Very clean and spacious place. Waiters were friendly but didn't speak English very well. At least they got my order correct. Their spring rolls were very refreshing. The pho was good but didn't wow me. I tried their red rice and Cornish hen dish as well. They give you a big portion of rice but to me it needed more flavor. The hen was very tender! This is a good spot to go if you are craving Vietnamese food and don't want to wait at the crowded Golden Deli. read more

Saigon Eden is the place that I always recommend when someone mentions that they feel like Vietnamese food. I was first introduced to Saigon Eden by another Peggy! After having spring rolls and pho, I have gone back for their skinny vermicelli, which I normally don't order, since I still prefer pho, but when it's hot outside, now I know I have a choice because their vermicelli is really tasty. Everything tastes fresh. Your order comes out quickly. It's not crowded to the point where the service staff is waiting for you to leave... I've eaten here before when it was Pho 79 (this was like from early 2000s) with a close friend who is Vietnamese. It was good then, I think that it's better now. This place used to be Pho 79 but the food still tastes great so it doesn't matter! But just a heads as to why they don't have as many reviews. When you walk in you can already smell the broth cooking so you know it's legit! This review is strictly for Pho I like the Pho nam My hubby likes the pho tai (his only gripe is they throw the rare meat in a ball and he always has to take it apart) Thai tea is ok I like the sinh to mit (jackfruit blended drink) This by far is my favorite Pho place!! It's rare that I ever give a review below 3 stars but this place deserves it. I ordered 3 items. 2 orders of Lg. Pho with extra meat and one order of rice with egg and bbq pork. I get home and open the bag to see that there's blood from the extra meat dripping everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE! My order of rice was soaked in blood. I had to throw the whole order of rice away cuz it had blood soaked into every part of the rice, pork and egg. I get that we're in quarantine but SERIOUSLY?! Come on, get your act together. I work in a restaurant as a manager so I know how to-go's SHOULD be packaged. To anyone reading this review, double check your order before leaving the restaurant before it's too late to notice. Pho is the food of my people. I've grown up in So Cal and this is my #1 place to eat pho. They used to be Pho 79, which my family used to go to forever. Their broth is flavorful and they provide very good quality meat compared to the gazillion other pho places I've tried in my life (LA, OC, San Diego, and Riverside counties..and several out of state locations). They also provide a lot more meat than other pho places. They have a lot on their menu, but if you're new, I'd highly recommend just their normal beef pho to get a taste of their excellent quality! read more

Dog haters fosho. I called before and asked if I could eat outside with my mom and small dog, and they confirmed over the phone it was okay. I arrived and they shut us down and denied us surface and then went on to say they don't serve food outside on the obvious outdoor patio seating area. I was pissed. I then yelped the next pho place on my list, "Pho Super Bowl". Pho Super Bowl is way better than this place. This place is anti outdoor eating and anti dog. read more

My recent visits to Saigon Eden was very borderline "i wanna leave." The plates and cups... basically everything... smells of bleach and cleaning agents. Other than the pho, the other dishes are pretty average. Their pho is ok... "ok" cause it fluctuates between nicely seasoned and quite salty. Their charbroiled beef over rice... i'd expect lots of rice and smaller portion of beef... i really didn't expect small portion rice with smaller portion of beef. Saigon Eden was pretty good, but from early this year, things aren't very nice. read more

Although this place isn't the cleanest, I can't dispute that its decent pho at a cheap price. In addition, I've never had to wait or flag a waiter down for extra water or inform them of a mistake with my dish. Pho broth is always piping hot and they give you a decent amount of meat with your order. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant and super close to other hot spots on Main Street if you want to catch a movie after, grab dessert or boba, what have you. read more

This place had terrible pho. Broth was watery. The pork was burned. It was not good! Service was okay. We did come sat 9:20pm. Seemed liked they rushed the food out. My girlfriends dish was greasy and the noodles were terrible. The only saving grace which is why I gave them two stars, was the plum drink my girlfriend had and the green drink I had. I went there this morning. There were only three tables, including mine. I am not sure it's because of morning. Anyways, the food is saltier than before. It does smell when I go in. The service is okay. I feel like their business is not good as usual. I wish their business gets better because I usually come to have pho in this place with friends and family. This place is a SCAM. We ordered a large Kobe beef with fresh noodles. We did not get the Kobe beef. Instead, they gave us the cheap beef that's rough. Also, they gave us the regular noodles and not the fresh ones. We know because we've eaten at the one on las tunas and that one is so much better. We asked the guy who looks like the manager about the noodles. I told him we didn't get the fresh ones but instead got the regular ones. He said you have to tell them you want it. Uh what??? The item itself says #18 Kobe style beef with FRESH rice noodles on the menu. No apology. If you order this, don't get SCAMMED. They'll charge you $14 and give you some cheap beef and regular noodles that would cost half of this. We also ordered a bun rieu and the soup was less than half. We've never seen anything like this. Who gives a customer a bowl of noodles with very little soup? Not coming back. Terrible customer service and food. read more

This my go-to pho place in the area because it's reasonably priced, service is good and reliable and the overall quality hasn't wavered since I started coming here a couple years ago. There's almost always parking in the structure behind the restaurant and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes for a table even on busy Friday nights. I always order the comb medium (the large is pretty large!). I love a place that doesn't change too often and gives generous portions. read more

The quality of the food has gone down over the past few years. Customer service is also decreasing in quality. My wife ordered ribeye pho and I ordered rare steak, hers came out pink/raw, mine fully cooked and gritty. They insisted this is the way rare meat comes out. Ultimately, they didn't really understand what I was saying in English. They finally offered to replace my pho halfway through our meal. read more

Been coming here for years since it was still Pho 79. Always thought it was good pho with lots of meat, fast service. BUT about a year ago, I took my dad there and he found a small roach in how bowl of pho.. GROSS! We complained and they were pretty nonchalant about the whole thing..asking if he wanted another bowl. NO Thanks! Haven't been back since but just recently my sister-in-law went back and also found a sizable roach at the bottom of her bowl!!! Same attitude from staff. Only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because I did enjoy the pho before I knew how dirty and infested the place was! So sad and disappointed! read more

Came here for lunch bc my friend was hungry, though I was not. I offered to share some of her bowl with her just so she wouldn't really have to eat alone, ya know. So first we walk in and it takes a while for someone to notice us. Finally we get seated and order and our bowl of pho actually takes a while to come out which surprised us because being from the area and eating at many restaurants, pho usually comes out within minutes. "Was it busy?" Nah, only a fourth of the restaurant was full at the time. Though despite this, I didn't think too much about it. This wasn't really the reason why I found this place quite upsetting. There were small things about this place that irked us. We looked around to see if there was a cash only sign -- there wasn't, so we thought we were safe. When we went to pay with card, our bill being $7, the cashier told us that the minimum was $10. We only had $6 between the both of us.. Awkward. We didn't know what to do and the cashier and waitress pressured us to get a drink or order something else. HONESTLY I was really hoping for them to let it slide but they were really adamant on it. Cashier was saying that if we tipped $3 then it'd be fine. Really? You guys didn't deserve like a 45% tip. Cashier THEN said, under her breath in vietnamese, "these two girls only ordered ONE bowl of pho." Objectively, it doesn't sound like much, but I think most people would agree that that lady was tryna fight with us. Little did she know, I, too, knew Vietnamese and therefore understood her bad mouthin' butt. So I asked, in Vietnamese, if they had durian smoothies and decided that I would indulge in one so that we could reach the $10 minimum. She said yes, and I received it and when I took a sip, I hated it. It was obviously made with powder and tasted so so soooo disappointing. I couldn't take more than three sips, I had to dump it. ( If you like durian smoothies, I'd totally recommend Golden Deli.) What I did like though was that they had the wide noodles -- that's a personal fave of mine when it comes to eating pho. And that the waitress we had was really nice and sweet. She seemed to care for her customers. All the other employees were really inattentive. All in all, would not come again. read more

Been coming here for years (back when it was called Pho 79). The servers have remained the same for the most part, which I'm glad about because they are so efficient at their job. Service is quick and you never have to wait too long to get your food. I find that ordering take out often takes longer than actually sitting down and eating at the restaurant. The pho and vermicelli are always delicious and I am always extremely full and satisfied when I leave. No complaints about the food! read more

The food is actually pretty good but the service is horrible. I ordered a meal to go and sat at a table waiting for it. After about 30 minutes, it was busy, I asked how much longer it would take and the waitress picked up a bag that was placed on the table behind me and said this is yours. That really got me angry, it was obvious I was waiting for my food, who knows how long my meal was just sitting there, and how long the intended to let me wait. Saigon Eden will always have a place in my heart. It was kind of a first date with my "not my boyfriend at the time" and ever since then we always come here. The food comes out pretty quick well at least for pho. I always order the same one every time I come in. It's so good that I come here alone a few times. This is an amazing Vietnamese food the waiters speak Vietnamese which makes it easy to order specific food but are also very good at English, portion size it a bit above average so u leave full and al the food is amazing large verity. It's almost as good as my own moms cooking who is from Vietnam ! This place is amazing and I would go here anytime, for a quick bite, Lunch or a nice dinner date with a gal!!!! read more

Favorite place for Pho! Their veggie pho is consistently excellent. I always get it to go because the atmosphere isn't very inviting. It's a bit sterile, but that is better than the alternative. The service is always great as well. I'm always greeted and helped pretty quickly, no matter how busy they are. However, they do prefer cash if you have a small order. I had not been in a while and forgot about this preference, they kind of gave me a hard time but ended up just using my card. So make sure to have some cash on you when dining here! read more

My favorite pho around here. I usually get the beef noodle soup. The bowls are reasonably sized and they give you a generous portion of meat. The flavor of the soup is probably the best ive tried and ive tried many different places. They have a wide variety of soups and dishes. I usually get my usual soup bowl when i come here so i will definitely continue to come back to try more of their menu items. read more
