I tried the boat noodles have a dark, funky and earthy broth that I honestly can't describe but it's umami rich and comforting. The meat is a bit tough but the flavor is excellent. I haven't seen this on many Thai menus so glad I got to try it here. Pad see ew is a classic rice noodle stir fry that has a slightly sweet profile and comes loaded with chicken and broccoli. I prefer wider rice noodles for my pad see ew but these are more than serviceable. All in all, great place to get your Thai food fix!

All amazing! Timing and tempo could have been better. My meal came out around 5-10 minutes after my dates meal. His was cold by the time mine came. We were done with our meals for quite a while before the server checked on us about dessert. We were told we only had 3 minutes to order dessert which was a bit off putting considering we had been ready to order at least 15 minutes prior. We got our dessert shortly before 10, and at 10:02 the house lights came on glaringly bright - aka time to get out. We hadn't even gotten our check yet. Overall the back end of the night felt rushed which put a damper on the experience. I would come back maybe during social hour or earlier in the day.

I'm pretty disappointed since I had them package my food one waited about 20 min for them to package it up for me and two I still had two very large beef ribs left over and once I arrived home I noticed they did not pack those up only the noodles and broth which is pretty outrageous considering you're paying a hefty upcharge for the beef ribs. So be aware when they're packing up your food that they're packing up EVERYTHING.

We came early, just before they opened and there was several customers waiting also which can kind of give the hint that you're at a good place. And indeed it was. I got their Pad Thai, a dish I don't often get as I often got the route of Drunken Noodles but I wanted to revisit Pad Thai so that was the direction I took foe this meal. It was very, very good ! The ingredients were fresh, the sauce and noodles were great! It was a decent sized meal which I appreciated as we had a very busy day ahead of us with shopping and being tourists and this meal was one of virtually all of the meals in Austin to be great to outstanding!

Found this place as it was a recommendation from someone who was in the Thai restaurant business and came highly recommended. The restaurant itself has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. It seems like a nice place to have a meal. As for the food, we ordered: Pad thai with chicken, mild spice - unfortunately this was a bit dry for me, though the taste was good. Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere. It's also on the pricier side. Still, if in central Austin I think it's a solid choice for Thai food.

The sauce was very light with a nice sweetness to it and I'm a huge fan of kabocha so that was a nice surprise. Overall not a bad place but I definitley can't say it's in the top 3 thai places in Austin.

I got level 3 spice which definitely had a kick, and it also came with a platter of pickled greens, fresh red onions, a slice of lime, and chili oil. The soup itself was really creamy and good, with a slight Malaysian curry flavor. The noodles themselves were thin egg noodles that were slightly soggy but it also came topped with fried crunchy noodles, which provided the crisp. The spice paired well with a creamy Thai iced tea! The service was super quick and everyone was so friendly. Definitely recommend it if you're in downtown Austin!

Ambience: Dark and moody with plenty of seating and a partial viewing of the kitchen. Service: the waitress was super prompt and also gave a lot of explanation about items on the menu in case we weren't familiar with the dish. Food: The food is probably some of the best thai food in Austin. We ordered the papaya salad which came out more in like a "thin flat noodle fashion" than what we are normally used to, it's not super spicy like most thai restuarants like to serve it but still has some robust flavors and some spice it also comes with cracklings which are super crunchy. The chinese broccolli is always a favorite of mine for the texture and the Pork Ribs dish was super creamy with a hint of spice that left you craving more. The menu is so large that we will definetly be back, i'd recommend going close to open as it's not as crowded!

We got the: * Roti Dip * Soft shell crab in curry * Papaya salad I loved the roti, it was crispy and the curry was flavorful, a bit salty but they paired well. The biggest miss for me was the soft shell crab in curry, the plate came out room temp which was a bit disappointing since curry is best served warm/hot. The batter on the crab was super thick it felt like we were just eating deep fried crab that got soggy quickly as it's served in the curry. The curry had some separation almost as if the coconut milk in it had been reheated or curdled during the cooking process. I'm not an expert chef but I've worked with coconut milk enough to notice these things. The papaya salad was decent, I loved the tangy and fresh flavors (we opted for 3 spice but definitely could've amped it up). I prefer my papaya salad with more "funk" but understand that's a different style. I am sad I had to give this place only 3 stars because my expectations were high considering this is their brick & mortar. I will have to give it a try again and taste other dishes. Overall the service was friendly, got sat immediately and didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. More parking in the back of the restaurant, be weary of the signs from other businesses.
