My companion thought his Pho # 27 was tasty. The broth was delicious with plenty of ingredients. I had the rice soup with wontons #39. It was good but not as good at the Pho. I also ordered a boba milk tea and the boba was a little hard and not as chewy as they should be. It was busy so the service and seating was a little slow but once it calmed down the service was good. Great location, parking a little hard but we parked in the parking lot on Congress $5. read more

Great service and beautiful atmosphere. Curry dish was good and the bun bowl was good.

Check your reservation times. Yelp let us make reservations at 11am and they don't open until noon. Bummer - I was excited to try the new location but went to the Campbell location instead. Love Miss Saigon - food never disappoints!! read more

Nice tranquil atmosphere, quick service, and no hesitation on sharing the dish. Very well portioned and the rice was fluffing good. However, the only negative part is the waitress brought the check/tab prior on us finishing our meal and didn't say anything such as no rush, take your time or would like to see our dessert menu. We felt rushed after that like ok get out. Overall, ok place. read more

I have frequented the original Ms. Saigon many times before, but it was time to try this downtown "branch". I also tried to expand beyond my normal Pho order by ordering Bon Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup with vermicelli noodles with sliced broiled beef and Vietnamese ham). I expected rich flavor from chile paste and shrimp paste, and I found this broth lacking in complexity and richness. The broth did have a kick from black peppery spice not from the complex broth. I ordered large thinking there would be some leftover, but perhaps this is post covid portion - it would be considered small by any means. Ms. Saigon has served me well in the past with delicious pho consistently. I can't help but to feel that this downtown location and Bon Bo Hue missed the mark. I will give it another shot in the future. read more

Came here before the Morrissey show (sigh) since I hadn't been to the downtown location. Very spacious setting with a very modern/chic-looking bar that looks like it'd be a hopping spot at night. My date and I split the shrimp and pork spring rolls to start. An interesting combination of proteins I never thought would go together, but they were quite tasty. The rice paper wrapping was chewy and filled generously with cabbage, rice, good-sized shrimp and minced pork. For entrees, I tried the chicken curry with jasmine rice. It was nearly as good as some of the Indian curry I've had around town. The coconut milk gave it just the right amount of sweetness and the rice helped cut the heat of the curry. Spicy, but not overwhelming. We also ordered the "shaking beef", which, is better than its terrifying name. The beef was very tender and seasoned nicely. The red rice had an interesting flavor of garlic, soy sauce, and sugar. The cabbage/cucumber garnish for both is nice but I wouldn't mind an actual side salad. Then again, I haven't had much Vietnamese food. The service was quick and friendly. They were almost a little too quick in taking our order and clearing our plates. The food also came out suspiciously quick. While it was not busy when we were there, the time from ordering to food arriving was about 5-7 minutes. Makes me think the food is prepared earlier and sits under warming lamps. It all tasted fresh, though. Overall, it was a good meal, decently priced, with good service. I'd come back to try the pho and if happy hour went until 7 p.m.. It's difficult to make it downtown after work before 6 p.m. But it helps to have other locations around town! read more

I have been a customer for 10+ years and for the first time did not feel the service was up to par. I called for a pick up order. I was placed on hold for eight minutes and I could hear their entire conversation about having tooth pain and what they need to do to get help or tooth pain medication. Very unprofessional overall unhappy to have had to wait eight minutes and still received no service. Hopefully the Campbell location will be different. read more

When I'm in Tucson for business, Mexican food is always a must, especially tacos. But, I can't go long without having some kind of Asian food, and Vietnamese is always one of my go-to's. This place was a nice find in downtown Tucson. The portions are generous, and I liked that I could get a side of broth. It really rounded out the meal. I usually get charbroiled pork and imperial rolls and then I ask to have it served over rice instead of the noodles. I pour the fish sauce over it and love when the rice gets some sauce on it. I'll definitely make this one of my stops for my next trip. read more

We love this place as do the regulars and travelers who have heard about it. During the dining hours, you will typically see a line of people. Upon entering, get your name on the waiting list as soon as possible. You will get a number from the staff. You must listen for your number to be called. There is not much waiting area inside the place so most patrons are outside. The place is clean with little decor. There are 2 rooms of dining. We typically order the Vermicelli or bun with a protein and an egg roll. The bun with fish is especially good. We haven't had a bad food experience yet and keep returning when we are in the area. I noticed gridlock at the register and that could definitely be worked on by the owner. Otherwise service is quick and they do a booming business. Parking available in the back. Prices are reasonable, read more

We are avid fans of Miss Saigon. We were excited to go to Miss Saigon's seriously updated downtown location. Food was as usual excellent, but the service was abysmal. Had to go grab someone to come seat 2 parties that had waited for over 8 minutes. Service continued downhill throughout. The guy who brought our water was actually terrific. He was the server who picked up the slack of his completely disorganized coworkers. Please fix this, Miss. We love your food! read more

This was such an awesome Vietnamese spot I had to stop twice during my short stay in Tuscon. The Bun Bo Hue was amazing, I especially enjoyed the broth which was light yet had a refreshing spicy kick to it. I wish there were a bit more noodles in the small serving so during my second visit I made sure to order a large of Hu Tieu. Plenty of noodles with a large serving and also an excellent broth. I would definitely come back and explore other options in their menu which were pretty expansive. The service was great as well. read more

Nice family oriented type of place, felt very relaxed in there. Sat at the bar where the service was great they made sure your cup was full especially with water. Per my son and the family in general, the best orange chicken ever. All of the food we had there was good. Orange chicken with the highlight. Grilled beef was number two. We got a hot soup but it did not have the heat. We are expecting based on how it looked. Little disappointing since we're wanting spicy food. Overall, the food was very good and we will definitely be going back. read more

This will be the third time we come enjoy dinner before catching a show at the Fox Theatre in down town Tucson. Crystal was our server. I must say she brought out ice cold drinks and delicious appetizers very quickly. I've been to three of the four locations of Miss Saigon and the food is always tasty! Our main dishes were hot and we were seated right away and made our show on time. read more

Saigon Blossoms - 25. Pho Chin small with Stella Artois - Vietnamese Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Great Service, Good Food, Not Huge Portions 5 Stars For Service: The service was great by the skinny white girl with lots of tattoos. She was friendly and too good care of us for sure! 4.75 Stars for great chicken curry vermicelli, I wished there was a bit more since I am a big guy, but it's good food! 4 stars for the large Pho bowl... good but for a large bowl kind of small. Good broth could use a bit more flavor but I liked it. All in all a nice little spot to eat, but finding parking was a headache and a half! We hiked a couple blocks and barely even found that! read more

Woah- awesome happy hour deals here! $3 apps and cocktails, we were shocked at all the food and drink we were able to get for the price. We tried the fried tofu and egg rolls to start-then orange chicken and fried rice as our entrees. (Love pho but weren't in the mood). The orange chicken had a sauce bursting with orange flavor-did not just taste like orange syrup. The fried rice was super tasty, slightly crunchy Vietnamese sausage chunks really added to the dish- differentiates it from your average fried rice. Will be headed to Miss Saigon again soon. :) Pho next time! Most everyone around us ordered pho, definitely known for the pho. read more

I hadn't realized I had yet to make a review of this place. Miss Saigon is a wonderful business that we have been supporting as a family for at least seven years now. We started going there because my mothers best friend lived on this side of town. Our family has always loved Vietnamese cuisine and tends to go to fun restaurants quite frequently. So when we decided to come to this restaurant seven years ago they were trying out the food. The service is wonderful, very family friendly. And their timeliness is amazing. I can place a phone order for my pho and spring rolls and pick it up within 10 minutes. Obviously this may differ with other food items such as fried rice. But their food has always been very delicious to us and always taste better when it comes from wonderful staff who treat their customers amazingly. I highly recommend coming here. read more

I've never been to this location before until today. A friend and I came here for an early dinner and had very poor service. There were two waitresses (I think - two women kept coming to our table is all I know), none ever took our drink order, they brought out water when we first arrived and never came back to refill. I had to go to the bar to get a refill. When they brought our meals they didn't give us napkins, I had to go to the men's room to get paper towels. When I saw the hostess I asked her for napkins. A table sitting across from us (party of four) after being served also had to ask the hostess for napkins and a guy at that table went to another table to get forks. Just horrible service. I left $1.56 tip and am not ashamed of it. The food was good. read more

Heard great things about this place, we were downtown for 2nd Saturday, after showing up following the first monsoon of the season, the street fair was about over-we we're hungry! One of our favorite Vietnamese dishes is Bún! I decided to go with that rather than the simple Pho! As well we ordered a Vietnamese coffee, which is basically coffee with sweetened condensed milk. The prices were great! Under $10 for our main dish, couldn't go wrong, the restaurant itself was nicely lit, spacious and decorated nicely. Lighting was great for a Saturday night downtown feel. Our waiter was not sure what Bun was, when we asked for it-which we found odd-but after describing it he stated "oh, yes, I think I know..." and put us on the correct page in the menu. I feel the wait staff in any restaurant should be familiar with the menu. The food arrived quickly, minus the coffee. It was flavored well, and plenty of meat and noodles, but definitely felt it could use way more vegetables! It was very lacking in ingredients, but over all it tasted good. We ate our entire meal, while having conversation and our coffee was never brought to us. When the food was delivered we mentioned it, and were told "they're working on the coffee." Unfortunately we never did get it, and our waiter NEVER came back, no communication, nothing. We had to flag the busser down for the bill, and asked to have the coffee canceled since it wasn't received in the last 45 minutes. The busser brought our check, and still no further communication from the waiter. If nothing else it is crucial that the staff be in communication with the customers, and if you don't have coffee or don't know how to make it-just say it, don't let people wait forever. All in all it was good food with poor service, and we will not be coming back. read more

I love Miss Saigon. I'm all for the food and I love the other locations myself. As a fellow Vietnamese foodie, I can say that I've been to a lot of these restaurants in this genre. The pho itself tastes spectacular, and doesn't have anything as different from the other locations as such. I've been on a couples of dates here and there. The first time I came by with someone, our server was wonderful. Very attentive to our needs at our table. They also cleared out our table pretty well shortly after we had finished. Left totally satisfied. Second time around, came by with someone different. A different server as well. Our service was delayed. It took a long wait to ask for napkins, an order of coffee took a while to come. When we reminded our waiter for the coffee, it seemed as though they had forgotten us. By the time the coffee was ready, the pho was already out. By the end of our meal, we waited for a hot minute to get our tab, and we had already finished our meal a while before closing. The time we got the tab it was wayyy past 9. Not good. Had it been that the service was delightful and welcoming; we'd surely come back. However, after this experience with this particular server, perhaps not. At the other locations I would highly consider going there instead. Love you, Miss Saigon. read more

I now can say I have been to the 3 Miss Saigon locations! Each location has something a little unique to it compared to its counterparts, and this location is no exception. The first thing that is different is the location. It is in the heart of downtown Tucson, which means that parking is limited on the weekdays and it is a little more fancy/upscale in appearance indoors compared to the other locations. I came here on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure if they were busy in the back or if they did not have as many servers/staff on the weekends, but there wasn't anyone to greet us when we walked in and we had to walk around a little before we saw someone who told us we could sit anywhere we wanted. I usually go for pho in the #20s, but opted to try something different. My boyfriend and I ordered the spicy beef soup. It had a weird tangy smell, kind of like fish sauce. It wasn't very spicy as I was expecting, but there is always sriracha sauce on each table, so that was definitely used. The best thing about the pho and soups from Miss Saigon's is that they aren't too oily. They give you a decent amount of meat in the dish and a good amount of side vegetables to add into the pho/soup. The menu is very comparable to the other locations, so it was nice to not be surprised by anything too different. They do have a full bar at this location, which might appeal to other people compared to the other 2 locations. You can't go wrong with the beef broth pho with rare beef slices. They have tasty boba and the peanut sauce with the fried tofu is delicious! read more

I've been here twice before, and both times have been highly successful. I've had the duck breast as a meal, from the app menu I believe, and it was scrumptious! This last visit my girlfriend ordered a boba drink that was amazing, that was my first experience with the drink. I love the chewy tapioca balls! I ordered the lemongrass chicken bowl, super good although not super filling. Hubby had another chicken dish which sadly didn't have that much flavor, can't remember what it was called though Plus the ambiance of the place is cool AND they offer TVs so if you o on a Sunday for lunch you may be able to catch your NFL team playing read more

Picture this, group of 8 people, no notice. They quickly accommodated. Super energetic and engaging staff. The food was so good!! Some of the best peanut sauce I have had. I'm sitting here hungry because I had a very busy day and planned to only eat lunch. The restaurant was very slow only two other tables with two servers. Never got my order taken just my kids. Never checked on us because if she had I would have asked where my food was. We had lots of kids so it was chaotic but wow as a regular who has been going here for years the staff was not great. I hope they have a better day. I normally don't write reviews but I'm hungry and irritated now. Forced us to take a gratuity on 2 adults 4 babies. I heard things...really good things about Miss Saigon, and I was hungry sometime around midnight. I had no choice at this time of night, I had to see what everyone was talking about and end my stubborn ways of avoiding something that is so good. I walked in and was greeted. I sat at the bar. The first thing I notice are those awesome lamps hanging right above the bar. I like awesome looking old school candescent bulbs. The menu was extensive, and I went with a tofu and shrimp covered with white ginger sauce dish. It was worth every cent as I sat there eating and thinking about why I haven't come here before. The spring rolls were served with a delicious peanut butter sauce. I will be back for the Pho. Those massive bowls of noodle goodness look slurp certified. I slurp for flavor, and if it gets on my glasses, it's slurp certified good based on the splash marks on the lenses of my glasses. It's an honest system that I stand by. I shall return. read more
