Based on reviews we headed out on our 20 some minute drive to get here. Nice staff, seemingly family owned. The food was ok. These days that's not good enough for the price tag you pay. I was a little disappointed based on the reviews, and I recognize everyone's tastes are different. I had the lemongrass chicken and rice dish (I think it was #62). My husband had a similar dish that added egg rolls. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee - it was excellent. The food: I liked my chicken, very well cooked - I would have liked a bit more flavor. Good taste, just needed more of the seasoning. My husband was similar, he did not like the egg rolls. It's not bad, not great, for the $$ ( we spent about $50) - - - -probably won't bring me back.

Cute little place tucked into a strip mall. We were looking for something to eat on a cold day and soup sounded perfect. My husband started with the shrimp and pork spring roll and he really liked it. They do not skimp on the filling! I wasn't sure what to order, as the menu has so many options, the owner came over and was asking what I liked and didn't like and he said he had just the thing. I got rice noodle soup with tofu and vegetables and my husband got the rare beef with rice noodles and extra shrimp. The portion sizes are very generous and the broth was absolutely delicious! This place did not disappoint! The owner was so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

My family and I got some amazing pho and egg rolls from this place. Also a few other dishes we shared to try more than one thing. The service was great and the owner was very friendly. They answered all of our questions and let us know how to eat the egg rolls. We weren't waiting long for our food which was awesome, since they were busy! We all enjoyed it and will be returning!

This is my absolute favorite pho place when I'm not at my grandparents! My husband and I probably dine here 1-2 times a month. Their rare beef noodle pho is the best. The service is very quick and attentive. It is also nice and peaceful to eat here.

We've never been able to get here when it's opened, after finishing up some biz in the area we decided to see if it was open, it was so we're here. Not overly busy, so seating was easy to find. Started with pork & shrimp spring rolls, ordered Curried Beef and Curried Chicken for entrees. With the obligatory Thai Tea. Spring rolls came out fast, with a peanut sauce topped with peanuts and Sriracha sauce. Nice heat to go with the sweet. Following right behind the appetizers was our entrees. Both were excellent, mild heat and loaded with flavor. The beef was tender as was the chicken. There was just enough to fill us up. The service was outstanding and our meal was relatively inexpensive. Sorry we didn't stop by here sooner.

We ordered the special chicken clay pot and the beef pho. $25. This is the best pho in Rio Rancho and while the clay pot is not as good as the clay pot at Basil Leaf - it is still pretty good. The clay pot is full of many more things than chicken. The mushrooms were especially tasty. This one compares to the combination clay pot at most places because it has shrimp and lap cheong and nuts. This is a great place to eat as the staff and everything we've ever tried has always been delightful.

I was in the neighborhood and was craving some pho! I picked this one because the one on San Mateo is delicious. I ordered the pho dac biet, and it was average not a lot of flavor in the broth and missing the brisket, tendons. ): I also ordered a ice coffee and it tasted burnt. Maybe they were having a off day...

This is our go to spot for Pho. The broth is so delicious. My daughter who is a somewhat picky eater loves their grilled lemongrass chicken. We eat here often, about once every two weeks, because it's so good. The service is fast & friendly. Every time we call in an order she always lets us know it'll be 10-15 mins & it's always ready on time. If you're looking for some authentic, simple, delicious Vietnamese food...this is the place. I only wish they had a crunchy stick in their spring rolls. However, that's a personal preference.

Very good family-style Vietnamese cooking. Combination rice plates are excellent. Egg rolls have exquisite taste. Very reasonable.

Love it! My go to dish is the broken rice plate with egg pie, shredded pork, and onion beef. Very friendly people too.

The bowl of rice noodles with vegetables, tofu and chicken broth is out of this world. Everything was fresh. Loved it.

Good quality food, and prices reasonable. Worth checking out. Waitress could have been friendlier though. I like the tv showing menu items.

Fresh Bahn mi's, pho, boba slushees, chicken and the best fried cream cheese wontons in town are all on the menu. They are cost efficient, friendly and have fresh produce. They get extremely busy during lunch so I suggest calling in to place your order beforehand. Also, check out the fridge near the kitchen for some hidden goodies such as sugar cane, fresh coconuts and more! You really can't go wrong here, please push past any previous feelings you may have about gas station food- I know you have been burned by Allsup's burritos before, but trust me you won't be disappointed.

I heard they got a popular review and had to try it for myself, it helped it was Vietnamese cuisine at least with me anyways in taking that initial leap, but it was well worth it. I ordered their rice noodle bowl with chicken and it didn't disappoint, loads of fresh as well as pickled veggies, heaps of noodles and a generous portion of grilled chicken. Their wings were amazing! They honestly would hold their own against any restaurant that only does wings! They were sweet and salty Vietnamese flavor with just a little heat, I will say they cheated me in one wing using the wing tip does not count! Other than that take it for what it is a convenience store serving in to go boxes. But it's super fresh and flavorful which is already ahead of most fast food! the price is right, and it's just perfect for a local pickup when you don't want feel like cooking. I have yet to try the pho but am looking forward to it, I'd making it a normal stop honestly. Also nice to point out they have a small Vietnamese market inside as well, so if you need a local place to pick up fresh produce such as Thai basil, cilantro, chilies they have a decent selection for the size of their store. They also have a number of cut names e cooking products such as fish sauce and condiments! Try it out I promise there's nothing to be scared of, they're definitely breaking the mold our help of course.

We had the shrimp spring roll (omg the sauce), and the beef wrapped in grape leaves--holy moly was this phenomenal! The flavors inside the beef are spectacular. Highly recommend. Saturday. March 1, 2025. Dinner…read more Upon entering, my wife and I were told this restaurant has existed for 10 years. It is on Montgomery by Dirty Bourbon saloon and Pelicans. The walls are painted green, have Vietnamese artwork and the interior is super relaxing. The lighting is dim and romantic and the place is super clean. We ordered the fried dumpling appetizer. This came with 6 dumplings and a dipping sauce for $7. The dumplings seemed to be pork and were tender inside. I used some sriracha sauce as the provided sauce tasted bland. To drink, 2 avocado shakes for $11.98. This was the best avocado shake I've ever had. Not too sweet and the right consistency, not too thick or too thin. For the entrée, I had #34, crispy egg noodle with seafood stir fry for $15.25. The noodles were mostly crispy. Those under the sauce turned soggy pretty quick. My fault, I should have asked for no zucchini. Unfortunately this was the most abundant part of the dish and I had to remove about 20 pieces of zucchini. Other than that, the seafood mix had imitation crab, shrimp, squid, and what appeared to be scallops. Vegetables, other than zucchini, included: baby corn, broccoli, carrots and cabbage. I liked the crispy noodles and the seafood tasted pretty good. I would have give five stars but the zucchini really didn't impress, nor did some of the soggy noodles.
