If for the food alone, it would get a full 5 stars. We went on a Sunday evening. I placed the order online at 5:30, and the order said it would be ready at 6. We arrived at 5:45 to check in and let them know we were there, and they told us our name would be called in about ten minutes. We decided to get a beer after 6:00 passed. When I went to pay for the beer, I noticed other customers very agitated at the manager/owner about their pizzas being way overdue/late and eventually asking for refunds (this was multiple people during the time we were waiting for our pizza). I went back up around 6:15 to check, and they told me "7 more minutes- it's in the oven now." I went back at 6:30, and I was told "12 more minutes- it's almost out." Our pizza was done at 6:47 pm, and I had to go back up to ask for it. It was barely warm and I told them we had been promised it at 6. They didn't care. I get that everywhere is WAY understaffed and very busy, but don't keep gaslighting your customers saying their food is "only ___ minutes out." If I hadn't been there with my uncle, I would've just gotten a full refund and gone to Dion's. The pizza was delicious and their ranch is that good ranch. read more

Well, service has went to HELL and a hand basket since the last time we were here. Buckle and dime you to death (the salads are huge enough to share, but two dressings are not allowed?) if the food wasn't good, I wouldn't come back. We ordered online. Large pepperoni and sausage pizza, and an order of gnocchi in marinara sauce. $40ish. Took well over an hour to get the order. When we arrived we were told the pizza was in the oven. Once the pizza was done, it was boxed and placed on the pizza oven until the bespectacled, older manager (?) remembered the gnocchi. The gnocchi was eventually dished up and off we went - home being within 3 miles. The pizza had good flavor, but the crust was soggy, probably from sitting on the oven for an unknown period of time. Approximately 40% of the gnocchi order was coagulated lumps of multiple uncooked dumplings. All of it was in a tasty, but cooler than tepid, sauce. An unappetizing piece of baguette was included which, when broken open, was damp. We'd read decent reviews, but the negative reviews proved to be most accurate. Very slow service. Substandard food. The chilies added some spice but not so much that you lose your taste buds. One of the meats reminded me of the shaved meat used for gyros. Plenty of melted mozzarella cheese to finish it off. The calzone was too much for me to eat and I am a big eater. Unfortunately this review takes place during the Coronavirus time frame so I cannot comment too much in the atmosphere. A order isn't a difficult thing to fulfill, this establishment has great food items. The assortment and consistency is great and the price point is fair. Along with the quality. It's understandable to be multitasking however, you communicate and help your customer not assume they know what's what at your place of business especially if you are a "manager!" Went here on a weekday for lunch and there was not much of a crowd. Ordered an appetizer of calamari, a meat calzone and a Diet Pepsi. The Diet Pepsi tasted nasty and it was obvious they need to clean their lines. When the buzzer went off and I went to pick up my food only the calzone was ready, they said they were still working on the calamari appetizer. The calzone was huge and can easily feed 2 people. It was not bad but there were large parts of it in the corners that had no sauce or ingredients and was just bread. After 45 min of waiting (and finishing half my calzone) there was no update on my calamari (nor two other plates my coworkers ordered) so I went to the desk and asked for a manager, to get the items removed as we had to get back to work. They said it was almost ready and would not let me cancel. After an hour, my appetizer was finally ready, I explained that calamari was not great for takeout and I no longer wanted it. They said sorry and told me they threw in a free fettuccine Alfredo for us and a coupon to return. This is a solid pizza and Italian restaurant right by UNM. It's a great option for students. I'm not a student, but I used to live in the neighborhood, and I found their food tasty and filling. It's rare to find a local place to pickup good salad from (that's also not too expensive or small), and the salads here and big and fulfilling. I like the asian one without chicken. The pizza is also good with big slices. It does get very crowded and loud and can be hard to park at, so easiest to walk to. The interior decor is quirky and fun. read more

This time I ordered two of them. One to eat there and one to pack up and eat at home. It's seriously that good. It's loaded with prosciutto, tomatoes, and cheese and is served up all toasty and hot. Everything we have ever ordered here has been really good. This time we ordered a few slices of pizza along with a pasta dish that has green chili and chicken and a slice of their NY cheesecake w a strawberry fruit topping. I can't eat here without getting that cheesecake they make. This place is on my short list of places to take out of town visitors to eat at. Besides their food being really good, I absolutely love their unique decor. The sounds of their fountain is relaxing to me and I love their murals of Albuquerque and famous people painted on their walls.
