    Bar Burger

We were pretty impressed with the restaurant within a hotel. We needed a quick stack, and this place was able to provide a really really excellent burger. The food of Albuquerque is green hatch chile, and the burger was covered in a spicy, tangy chile. They cook it with water, and their fries are actually pretty good: crispy and fresh. The other times I've eaten here in the past, I've had good experiences (good nachos and loaded fries, both covered in that chile.

Great service and great food. The service is impeccable and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is very clean.

    Christmas enchiladas

I came here to grab a bite to eat after my flight was canceled and was put up in the doubletree. The Christmas enchiladas were good, a bit on the pricey side at $16 for what you get, but overallnot bad. It's the customer service part that's not that great here. Everyone working at the bar seems upset and they weren't the friendliest people. I had also asked about their daily happy hour and I was told they no longer have it every day. However, the room hotel guide says the they have a daily happy hour. It seems like the lounge and hotel need to coordinate better.

Not bad for a hotel restaurant. The setup was nice, with plenty of seats around the bar and lots of tables as well. They ya several TV's as well. I had a Moscow mule (they even had copper mugs) and the chicken enchiladas. My drink was made perfectly and the meal was great. I chose the red sauce, which gave that slight tingle on your lips. It was the perfect amount of heat for me. It was packed with chicken as well.

"Grown-up" Grilled cheese with salad and Albuquerque Turkey with French fries

Was actually surprised at how good the food was for being 4pm and being pretty empty! The grilled cheese was soooooo good, words don't do it justice. And the side salad wasn't some cheap salad either! The white balsamic vinaigrette was amazing. My boyfriend had the Albuquerque turkey and he loved it! I tried his fries and they were also really good! It had a seasoned crunchy exterior. The price was also really decent! $10 for the grilled cheese and $11 for the turkey. It was a huge sandwich, I couldn't even finish it! I would definitely recommend this place if staying at the doubletree. Oh and our server James was extremely friendly and checked on us, great customer service! Another plus

For drinks they have everything from house taps and cocktails to non-alcoholic options, including mocktails. They also make their own house infusions like beet vodka, coffee liqueur, and cucumber gin, which I thought was interesting. The service was friendly although it was busy so I wouldn't say they were fully attentive. Differential Brewing does seem like a chill spot to grab a drink and hang out with friends. My only issue was that the bathrooms were not clearly labeled and the heavy metal playlist was not my cup of tea. Still, if you are into unique drinks and a casual local scene, this is a good spot for that.

Lots of doors and roll-up windows allow them to combine or separate spaces. I'm not sure if it's a New Mexico thing, but this might be the first brewery we've been to that doesn't do flights. Too bad too because there were several we wanted to get. We ended up tasting four beers. The Bock was ok, and the Stout was pretty good. I had a pint each of the Blue Corn Lager and the Irish Red, while my wife had two pints of the Irish Red. Both were quite good. Had I had another, I would've ordered the Stout. The one knock on the place was the service. It was friendly enough. There just wasn't enough of it. Every time we needed something, it was around a 10-min wait in line. To order, to close out, etc. Not really because it was overly crowded. It just took a really long time for those in front of us to be helped by the one person tending bar at the time. Oh well. The beer was good and not overpriced. Even though the alcohol content wasn't too high, it hit the spot.

The server said they were going through a shift change when our order took over 30 minutes to arrive. But, that did not explain the long waits to be seated, to get out waters, to have our orders taken and to pay the bill. The nachos were great. Loaded with tons of meat, cheese and veggies. They were just the right amount and just the right level of spice. The salad was a salad. The tuna melt tasted like straight pickle juice. We are assuming this wasn't the normal recipe and that something must have gone wrong in the kitchen because most people couldn't eat this. We sure couldn't.

It's has a very nice ambiance and it's not dark like the bar was next door. Don't have any other info on it but looked very nice. I would recommend checking these places out if you are looking for something very different from the usual places.
