This bartender spent a significant amount of time openly bad mouthing other employees within clear earshot of patrons. Rather than maintaining a professional front, the discussion devolved into petty workplace drama. Even more troubling was that the manager on duty, with a attitude of a hooters, twin peaks server, actively joined in on these conversations and contributing to the gossip rather than redirecting the staff or focusing on guests. I frequent the casino very regularly and on the weekends I see this bartender serve visibly intoxicated customers without hesitation, raising immediate red flags regarding liability and guest safety. I see this Bartender has no concept of basic sanitary practices because these practices are regularly neglected throughout my visits. Weekends are the worse because not only do you have to hear employee drama from the bartender and manager. You have to put up with this bartender and another bartender constantly making gay remarks and passess on one another its pretty unprofessional, they grab eachothers butts then handle patrons drinks its pretty disqusting while the manager joins in on it. A bar's reputation relies heavily on basic cleanliness, safety, hospitable and professional environment. Having staff air internal grievances and acting like children in front of paying customers especially with management enabling it creates an uncomfortable dynamic and reflects poorly on a business. Who ever is in charge in the hiring process should be more selective. I wanted to bring this directly to attention so leadership has the opportunity to address issues before they lead to larger liabilities.
