I found it here on the American Airlines Dining Website. I earned miles. Anyway, I arrived. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap. It was pretty big. It was okay. It looked like some Mexican burrito. Everything looked like some Mexican food here in Houston. Sadly, I had to give this restaurant one star. The reason is " No practice of social distancing". A cook or server at the restaurant bumped into me by mistake. It was okay. It was an accident. But he didn't wear a mask. Please, please, please, be careful when you need to walk around the customers. Nowadays, people must practice some social distancing. But some of the people at the restaurant didn't wear a mask. Actually, a man, who took my order, didn't wear a mask. It was not good at all. I may return as long as I can earn miles. But if they still don't practice the social distancing and wear masks, I will give you a one-star review, one more time, Sadly.

This is what it looked like

Walked in to the restaurant. Asked for 4 plates of shawarma. Received it, and they didn't even bother to try make it look decent. The rice was spread out all around the plate to make it look like it was a lot, but it wasn't at all. The rice didn't even fill up a tablespoon. And not only that, but I didn't get any fries which I ordered. Couldn't be more disappointed. I went up to the worker, and kindly asked why I didn't get any fries, and also asked if I was served a kid meal. Because the amount of food I got was not the amount of food a so called "adult meal" should be served. The worker there told me that they could fix it and give me a new meal. I was fine with that until the owner came out rushing to her and started screaming at her. Poor lady was so scared. He told her that she doesn't choose and that what we got was enough, (In other words). We then received out meal, and still wasn't as decent. But we accepted the food, and we ate. Wasn't full, had a bad experience and felt bad for the worker. In addition to that, I also received dry bread from like days ago, and I didn't receive hummus. Sorry to say this, but out of all respect I don't recommend coming here! And this place does not even earn 1 star.

We had a larger party & ended up getting the family platter to split. We also got sides of the hummus and garlic sauce. Their hummus was really delicious! Definitely a standout. All the different kebabs on the family platter were yummy. I liked the chicken kubideh kebab the best! It was nice and juicy w/ good flavor. The jujeh, chicken kebab, and kubideh were all good, but could've been a bit more juicy for my tastes. But overall everything was yummy. The rices were good too - I liked the baghali the most. Ambiance was nice, it was pretty crowded and a bit on the louder, but had a nice and welcoming vibe. They had some interesting artwork. And value was great, it ended up not being too expensive for our table of 6. You can call and make a reservation, I recommend this on weekends as the place was pretty packed. Also - there's a parking garage in the middle of rice village with 2hrs free parking. Definitly recommend that as well because street parking can be hard to find

I have grown to trust the people who write reviews, so we went around 5:30-5:45 during the week; it turned out to be a good idea. There were just a few tables that had two, three, and four people. I've been going to restaurants for a long time and for those of you that also go, the moment you walk in there's a smell of food being prepared that wafts out from the kitchen. It's a good smell at Kasra. It was a tad early to get a true vibe, but I didn't care; I wasn't there for the vibe. Our waitress was great and knew what she was talking about. Friendly and polite, she checked on us frequently to make sure we were getting what we wanted. The food was very good and we enjoyed the different tastes from cold to hot appetizers. Make sure you try the hummus I don't stand in any line for anything, but that said if you're looking for the complete experience then go on the weekend around dinner time.

We actually went to a different Fadi's looking for cabbage wraps and koussa (stuffed zucchini), but they had a much smaller spread so we drove 15 minutes to Meyerland and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The hack at Fadi's is to go half-half so you get a slightly smaller portion of 2 side dishes that counts as 1 side. I had the babaganoush, muhammara, mushroom salad, and rice as my 2 sides (each 1/2 portions) and the lamb kabob for my protein. My wife had the spanakopita, cabbage wraps and stuffed zucchini. Loved it all. The restaurant was packed, but there was still plenty of seating and we found a nice quiet area to enjoy our meal. It's always a great experience at Fadi's Meyerland.

Came with family for the first time and we were so overwhelmed by not just the food options but also by the friendly staff! Pro tip: don't get too excited too early because you will absolutely miss out on the rest of the options. Take a stroll down the line to look at all the possibilities before committing. That said, you can't go wrong with anything at Fadi's - great food, balanced flavor, home-style service :) We'll definitely be back - cheers, Fadi's!

We appreciated that kind gesture. Every food item on the menu looked delicious. I decided on the Lamb Rack. Loved the texture of the lamb and loved the basmati rice. Lamb was cooked perfectly, and the rice was very fragrant. We were offered a complimentary Persian Ice Cream Sandwich which had an unique flavor. It wouldn't be a flavor for everyone, but to me, it was a perfect ending to a great entree as it was light and mildly sweet. Note that not all food options are halal. Their website is updated with the information and you could also ask the server for clarification. Absolutely adore the interior. The restaurant could get loud but still bearable. Complimentary valet parking is available. Self-parking is also available. Highly recommend to make reservation as the restaurant does get crowded during peak hours.

Since this place was a surprise venue for me, as soon as I saw the name "Rumi," I knew nothing could go wrong with it. I collected so many of Rumi's books, and having them around me makes me feel very peaceful. My family in Houston waited six months to celebrate my birthday due to my health issues, and I feel so blessed to have them around me. This place is always crowded, so please make a reservation even on weekdays. We went on weekdays, and even then we got a reservation for 8:45 pm. But honestly, every effort was worth it. We got there on time. Velet parking is available, but if you want to avoid more waiting, pass the restaurant, and you will see a big parking lot. We walked in and loved the interior, but it was very crowded with happy faces. We were seated in 5 minutes and started enjoying the ambiance and decor. It's a beautiful place to celebrate precious moments with your family and friends. Everyone loved our server, Zack, and his presence and approach. He talks so kindly with each of us. His recommendations were so good that we found every kind of dish for everyone, including vegetarian options. We started with sides, Thanks to Zack.

It did get a little hot after a while, but there was a slight breeze. I'm closer to Abdallah's, which is also Lebanese, but I'm happy I tried it. Of all the times driving down Washington Ave. I haven't noticed it. Probably because Laurenzo's next door has a huge, bright and green neon sign. It was pretty empty on a Sunday night after watching a few NFL games nearby with friends. We shared the mixed grill platter for two to try a variety of their meatsof. It came with 2 sides, so we chose French fries and baba ganoush. I love potatoes and eggplant. We enjoyed both sides. The baba ganoush was great paired with the warm pita. I like that they give you a basket with a good amount of smaller ones rather than one large pita. The platter also came with a side of rice. It was standard, nothing fancy but good with the meats. We preferred the chicken and pork tenderloin over the kafta, which they gave 2 of. I liked the garlicky toum sauce they had and the roasted onions, tomatoes and jalapeño. We had ordered a couple cocktails - one with lavender and one with hibiscus. I enjoyed my hibiscus one with gin. Overall, I enjoyed the food and service. They also offer hookah. I would definitely come back here again, but next time we'll just order the pork tenderloin grill or chicken.
