Fun, High-Quality Experience with a Few Misses Safta has a fun, energetic ambiance and delivers a great overall dining experience. The customer service was excellent--attentive, friendly, and well-paced, especially for a larger group. The food quality was fresh and well-executed, with good portions that are ideal for sharing and sampling. We ordered multiple dishes and enjoyed most of them, which made the meal feel interactive and communal. That said, the matzo ball soup was a miss for me. I love duck, but the duck confit in matzo ball soup just didn't work--the flavors didn't come together in a way I enjoyed. For transparency, the bill came out to around $500 for five adults and one 2-year-old, so this is definitely a special-occasion spot rather than an everyday meal. Overall, it was a cool experience with great vibes, strong service, and mostly excellent food--just not flawless.

Safta is within the Source Hotel location. You can find parking by the garage nearby. Free for the first hour then $8 for the subsequent hours. Booked my reservation via Resy-- so happy because it's one of the restaurants where you can get credit from having an Amex Platinum. Honestly, I was stuffed just with the pita bread and dips! My favorite was definitely the Muhammara (roasted peppers, hazelnut, cilantro & chili oil). It wasn't spicy but I like the hazelnut bits! Paired with the warm pita bread? Freakin delicious. The Lamb Ragu hummus was probably the second best dip we had followed by the whipped feta. By the time, the small plates and entrees came through, I was stuffed from the salatim. The waiter said we can keep asking for more pita! So I say tread lightly! It looks definitely busy so it's best to do reservations. The place isn't overly fancy, just like having a normal dinner with loved ones. I didn't order drinks so I can't speak to that. However, the waiter was offering to give me a free gelato since it was my birthday which I genuinely appreciated. I refused so he just comped one of the salatims I ordered. Thanks Safta!

It was pricey, but pretty nice. I will honestly advise to go here mainly for the appetizers, not the main course. We had one main course and honestly it was very disappointing. For the main course we ordered scallop and potatoes. The scallop was a tad bland and slightly undercooked. Very small for such a high price. The lamb ragu hummus was the star for me, very flavorful and smooth. The bread was amazing. Warm, soft, and delicious. The servers were pretty nice. Though we were wondering why we got seated at the front and nobody else got seated around us. But either way, it was nice and i would love to go here again.

I love the warm, comforting, delicious food Safta serves that feels both elevated and unique yet unquestionably tasty. I do wish their portion sizes were bigger that's the only drawback, the babaganoush especially is just plain babaganoush nothing too special, really good just not unreal and for $9 I wish the portion of the dip was bigger. They do give you as many fluffy, tearable pitas as you like which is lovely. The lamb ragu hummus was my favorite, silky smooth hummus with salty meat, so tasty. The muhammara roasted red pepper dip was unique and flavorful, again just wish the serving was bigger! The crispy eggplant is to die for, a huge chunk of eggplant with the freshest creamiest topping of whipped goat cheese, so tangy and the perfect bite. The matzah ball soup is just ok nothing special. I also really enjoyed the branzino paired with a tangy spicy green sauce and peppers popping with flavor. Honestly my recommendation is to just come and get full on hummus and salatim and skip some of the larger dishes! Those were the highlights of the menu and evening for me, and so filling! I found the 4% kitchen staff addition ridiculous and just lowered the overall tip accordingly. Price your food according to how you want to pay your workers so I'm not shocked by the cost afterwards.

Was going to try another restaurant but the wait was too long with no reservations so decided to call Safta and they had plenty of bar seating for walk-in's. Great that you get full food service at the bar as well. Another place marked off to try inside of The Source Hotel! Parking you have either the lot or the garage but a little limited. Ordered quite a bit and had leftovers for the next day lol. First was the Ikra and Lamb Ragu Hummus. Probably my favorite of the night. Very flavorful, refreshing, and addicting. Pickles are done very well and they also make the best pita when it comes to texture, flavor, and technique. Least favorite was the Duck Confit Tangine as the duck did not taste that good but crispy and tender. Sauce with the olives was good. Crispy eggplant was good but that came out last and was a little full by then. Total was $148.26 before tip and they also include a 4% kitchen appreciation charge. Can't wait to come back to enjoy this beautiful restaurant!

Truly an exceptional dining experience, especially for lovers of Mediterranean food. Make reservations for the brunch buffet or dinner service several weeks in advance as spots do fill up. If dining with vegetarians, I would suggest dinner or they'll be paying for many items they can't enjoy at the buffet. But, definitely come with friends and do a tour of Israel via dip. Inside Safta, everything is intentionally elegant. They somehow manage to soften the industrial structure of the Source building with homey decor touches like charming water cups and pillows at certain tables. It's a bit tight table-wise, and we definitely could have used more surface area for all the dishes we ordered plus the bottle of wine. (Their wine list, by the way, is excellent.) But I guess that's the price to pay for allowing more guests in per service. Our waiter was tirelessly suave and gracious, to the point my two male tablemates were gushing over him every time he left the table. We ordered a sampler of dips, Crispy Eggplant, Harissa Roasted Chicken, and Persian Rice. Which to us did not sound like a lot, but we were crawling towards the finish line because those dips are FILLING. Not to mention how addicting the pillowy pita is. Literally not a sliver of stomach-space left for dessert. My favorites from the evening were the Hummus with Egg, Z'atar, and Persian Rice. The Chicken was the one dish I was left a little disappointed by as it was pretty dry and not $42 worthy. The staff truly want you to have a lovely dining experience and I plan to be back to try more of their offerings, but likely for a special occasion.

Safta does the Brunch buffet concept very, very well! Safta pairs Mediterranean and traditional brunch favs in a very sophisticated and most importantly, delectable way. The decor, plates, and glasses were chosen with "cute brunch" in mind. We were greeted as soon as we were sat and were given the cocktail menu. The menu did not overwhelm, as it was clear the cocktail choices were also selected to pair equistely with the buffet choices. I ordered a bloody mary, and was very happy with my choice! A glass of sparkling wine was given to everyone in the party to help celebrate the birthday girl. That was a very sweet touch to brunch as well. Pastries, bagels, breads, prime rib, cheese, meats, eggs - prepared a couple of ways, and hummus were all part of my buffet selection. Fish and a few other meats were also offered. Those in my party that tried what I did not, also gave rave reviews. My favorites were the poppy seed bagel and scallion cream cheese - it was almost like having a NYC bagel and schmear - almost! The Prime Rib was prepared excellently by the chef, so had a couple of slices with horseradish - delightful indeed. It was all so good! $50 gets you bottomless brunch - and it was worth every penny. I do believe the birthday girl had a great time as well - which of course is the most important!

Cute little breakfast buffet. Delicious cheeses, spreads like hummus and baba ganoish, cheeses, eggs, meats like pastrami and lamb, desserts, and breads and crackers. Great because everyone gets what they want.

WOW! first, highly recommend a reservation as this place was busy on a Monday! The short ribs were great and whipped feta was creamy and dimensional (given the vinegar and basil). The meringue was phenomenal and stunning, would be great for a birthday dessert. Cocktails: expect more essence and hinted background notes, think complex flavors not "whoah" moments.None of the flavors overwhelmed but I can imagine the drinks being refreshing on a hot day. Presentation was great! Lacking Israeli wines by the glass, but that's my only critique. Overall, atmosphere was nice and service was great. Highly attentive staff and we felt taken care of, thank you for a lovely night. Shoutout Elissa and Marisa for helping us have a fantastic night out with incredible food. Thank you!

HELPFUL TIPS IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME HERE (as it was for me): I'd been looking forward to dining here as one of our honeymoon dinners while visiting Denver. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I loved the open concept seating with a full view of the kitchen. It was fun watching the chefs in motion and seeing how the team worked together throughout service. Staff was very attentive and would swing by often. Even just to wipe away crumbs or water marks. Our waiter, Matty, was insightful and walked us through the menu with great recommendations. The bathrooms are located just outside the Safta restaurant entrance, across the hall. Here's what we ordered: * Muhammara ($12) - 9/10 I wasn't sure what to expect beyond roasted peppers but the flavors of hazelnut really came through. The chili oil was light and balanced. It paired perfectly with the complimentary pita bread. We were given two pieces and couldn't even finish but I've seen reviews saying it's unlimited if you want more. * Israeli Salad ($14) - 9/10 This was refreshing and full of ingredients I personally love. It was the perfect palate cleanser alongside the richer items on the table. * Matzo Ball Soup ($11) - 5/10 Never had this before but I don't think I'm a hug fan of matzo. I know it's an acquired taste and I'm glad I tried it, but the texture just isn't for me. I also expected more duck flavor. Mine only had a couple of very thin strands. If you're curious, go for it but it wasn't my highlight. * Bulgarian Lamb Kebabs ($22) - 9/10 This was the star of the show. Super flavorful with hardly any gaminess and something I'd definitely come back for. The dish came with three pieces and the sauces (tahini and matbucha) were excellent. Doubles as dips for the pita. I'd definitely come back to try other items on the menu. This meal experience is worth the trip!

Went to Safta as I have heard people saying wonderful things about the Israeli restaurant in Rino. Upon arriving I noticed how detailed oriented the staff is and the top notch service they provide during dinner was prevalent. We started with many dips from hummus to whipped feta. These were amazing and the fresh unlimited pita was delicious. After that we had the chicken which had okay flavor but was very dry. We would not get this again. For desert the amazing waitress gave us free gelato since it was our anniversary. This was the highlight of our dinner. Keep in mind this restaurant is in a hotel, but perfect spot for a little date night that is different from the usual.

Chicken was fantastic, seasoned and cooked to perfection!

On my wife's first night meeting up with me for some rest and relaxation I gave her some options to choose from for where we would dine for the evening. And she chose Safta, we arrived without reservation and we were seated promptly at the bar. My wife decided for some things for us to share which was the whipped feta appetizer, the Persian rice and the chicken for our main course. Everything was amazing, seasoned and cooked to perfection! For libations I had the Belgian non-alcoholic beer and my wife had the red wine which was not on the menu but it's from Armenia and this was the bar tenders recommendation. My wife absolutely loved this wine. Overall, this was a wonderful meal and I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

10 Stars!!!! I came here for lunch and it was perfect. The atmosphere was modern but classy and the service was excellent! The food is on another level if you enjoy Mediterranean dishes. Start with the Lamb Ragu hummus; followed by tabbouleh, baba ganoush, and koosa. This is an entire meal itself with the fresh pita bread was amazing. Lastly the falafel and Lamb kabobs will be a home run to finish your experience here. THIS IS A MUST VISIT!

    Where to park?

I just used the parking garage attached to the Source Hotel. First hour is free and then they charge, but it's reasonable. Better than street parking.

Do they have gluten free pitas?

They don't :( I asked for gluten-free crackers and they gave me a plate of dipping veggies (and charged for it). Def not the same!

The food looks amazing! Is it halal?

I believe the food is Halal but it may be best for you to check with the restaurant.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. We shared the Baba Ganoush to start. This is pureed, baked eggplant. The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful. The plate included a large tower of savory rice, a rich tzatziki sauce, a nice side of silky hummus, some pickled vegetables, and more pita. Another delicious offering and a huge portion. We also had soup as the entrees come with soup or salad. My friend tried the lentil soup and said it was flavorful and tasty. I had the tomato soup which was hardy and richly-flavored. This was a great meal. There's a pastry case with a choice of many Middle Eastern desserts. My friend selected several to take home and we staggered out of the restaurant with lots of leftovers that will make a delightful lunch tomorrow. A wonderful experience.
