Wow, what a fantastic meal. Super cool decor and our server was the perfect blend of helpful, knowledgeable, and personable! The cocktails were really unique and delicious. As a savvy home bartender, I hope to recreate some of that magic!! The food is where Saffron shines - every app and entree was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Quail, pasta, halibut, salad, skirt steak - wow wow wow. Come here and don't look back!

What a delight. This place is beautiful. We kept pointing out light fixtures we loved. The staff is so friendly and helped us make our dinner choices. We shared the mezze app are that up pretty quick. The feta and homemade pita hit the spot. I had the gozleme and ate every bit. Highly recommend after a day of tasting in Walla Walla.

Kindness goes a long way! @ Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen in Walla Walla, WA. !! We were indeed shown kindness this Saturday afternoon when we entered this fine dining establishment. The restaurant was quite busy and we walked in behind a party who had a reservation. In need of a good meal, we took a chance without a reservation, and were lucky enough to be told that they might have a spot for us. Once we arrived at our lovely table, we were warmly greeted by Tom. He was personable, friendly, and courteous while providing excellent service. The staff worked well together and in harmony. Our waters were refilled accordingly. Finished dishes and corresponding silverware were taken away, then the next course was set in its place. We enjoyed our time here and were thoroughly satisfied with our dinner from start to finish. Our appetizers were well-prepared and delicate. Our entrees were thoughtfully created, savory, and delicious. The dessert was rich, creamy, and devoured instantaneously... so good! The space itself was beautiful with unique and charming furnishings. We would sincerely like to thank Island for showing us kindness tonight. We had a wonderful dining experience! Thank you.

My pre birthday dinner, recommended by a friend as well. Nice cocktails selections and wines (of course). We had beef cheek, mushroom flatbread (mushroom lover must to have!) and lamb and beef sausage pasta with tomato sauce dish (which was very bright even with heavy meat, made a dish delightful). All dishes are great, served with house made bread and olive oil and I would come back here to try other dishes next time. I ordered Cab from Bledsoe without paying attention (we visited their winery in Bend), juicy red. Nice service is always a big plus!

This restaurant is the total package: great flavors, awesome service, and a fabulous atmosphere. I'm especially amazed by the creative, yet comforting food, as well as the carefully balanced drinks. I had the speck and ricotta flatbread, haloumi and za'atar appetizer, and the Zohan (one of the delicious gin drinks). It was all delicious. My only regret is that I didn't order and try more. This is my second visit and I'll certainly be back.

Made for a lovely Valentine's Day dinner! Had the Patatas Bravas and Kebbeh Nayyeh shared as appetizers, followed by the Lahmacun flatbread and Hanger Steak. All were paired with Freewater Winery Syrah '20. All dishes were excellent, I particularly enjoyed the almond and caperberry salsa with the hanger steak. My girlfriend had the Lahmacun flatbread, it was a remarkably robust entree that I'm hoping to get myself on a future visit! I ordered the hanger steak medium rare but found some parts of the cut to be quite rare/blue.

We had a reservation, and they had our table ready the moment we walked in -- comfortable, well-placed, and perfect for conversation. The staff here deserves a shoutout. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when it came to picking drinks and explaining the menu without rushing us. They gave us that perfect balance of attention and space. First up: the chicken tortilla soup. This thing was flavorful, comforting, and packed with that slow-cooked, homemade taste. Honestly, it was delicious as-is, but a couple slices of avocado would seriously take it to the next level. Still -- a great start. Now the paella... WOW. A good size portion, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly -- not mushy, not dry -- and honestly better than what I've had at a lot of dedicated Spanish restaurants. The mix of seafood and chicken was generous, the seasoning was bright and warm, and every bite hit exactly how paella should. It was the star of the night. We paired everything with sangrias, and they were fantastic -- refreshing, not overly sweet, and just the right complement to the meal. The berry sangria especially worked ridiculously well with the paella. Overall, Tagaris gave us a solid, memorable dinner. Great service, great food, cozy atmosphere, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Definitely a place we'll be returning to.

Lots of bacon lardons to give more depth to the pasta. Very tasty. The lamb is delicious, though the crust was a little salty for my taste. Ask for it to be medium rare + so you get the nice cool red. There are 6 lambchops served with a couscous salad and tzakiti. If you like lamb, get this. The roasted chicken is amazing. So so so good. Perfectly done with a side of kale and nice size croutons, crunchy and buttery. Ordered the dip appetizer and the pita is soft as a vessel to try 3 different dips - one is garlicky with breadcrumbs (it's more addicting than you think), feta with a roasted pepper and tzakiti. All tasty! Didn't leave room for dessert. Next time!

My favorite item on their appetizer menu is the cheese plate. I don't like crackers so I've started ordering it with some extra apple slices instead of the crackers. The goat cheese panna cotta itself is delicious but the best part is that the seasonal sides are amazing and change very frequently. It's a positive example of a dish never being exactly the same. I've always had great service at the bar. The only complaint I've heard was from a grad student we know who ordered multiple items and didn't realize they forgot his entree until everyone at the table was almost done eating. Thankfully the group had plenty to talk about so they didn't mind it being a long dinner. Finally... the drinks. The only regret I've had was ordering a beer when they have such a fantastic cocktail menu. I am a fan of their non alcoholic cocktails currently but I do enjoy occasionally ordering from the main menu.
