Cocktails

The restaurant was charming and the staff were efficient and pleasant. The cocktails were pretty good, especially the aged Old Fashioned. The best dish we had was the Fried Levantine Chicken. The flatbread toppings were good but the crust was just okay. The mezze plate was less exciting than I hoped. I'm not a fan of beet hummus in any case. The ribeye steak was a a bit over salted for us but was still good. It was an enjoyable but not amazing dinner.

The ambiance, service, food, everything was amazing. We shared the parsnip & citrus salad to start and wow, it was so balanced and beautiful. The hummus is served warm with chorizo and that was mind blowing and super delicious. We also had the beef cheeks. The sauce was amazing, the beef cooked to perfection, lovely. The fire roasted fingerling potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy deliciousness on the inside. For cocktails we had jazz hands and beauty and the beet. Both were amazing. Highly highly recommend this gem!

Wow, what a fantastic meal. Super cool decor and our server was the perfect blend of helpful, knowledgeable, and personable! The cocktails were really unique and delicious. As a savvy home bartender, I hope to recreate some of that magic!! The food is where Saffron shines - every app and entree was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Quail, pasta, halibut, salad, skirt steak - wow wow wow. Come here and don't look back!

Seating was available on a weekend night. The service was genuine and good. The food was amazing with several options. We ordered several small plates to share. They have a fantastic international wine list which pairs nicely with the food.

What a delight. This place is beautiful. We kept pointing out light fixtures we loved. The staff is so friendly and helped us make our dinner choices. We shared the mezze app are that up pretty quick. The feta and homemade pita hit the spot. I had the gozleme and ate every bit. Highly recommend after a day of tasting in Walla Walla.

Kindness goes a long way! @ Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen in Walla Walla, WA. !! We were indeed shown kindness this Saturday afternoon when we entered this fine dining establishment. The restaurant was quite busy and we walked in behind a party who had a reservation. In need of a good meal, we took a chance without a reservation, and were lucky enough to be told that they might have a spot for us. Once we arrived at our lovely table, we were warmly greeted by Tom. He was personable, friendly, and courteous while providing excellent service. The staff worked well together and in harmony. Our waters were refilled accordingly. Finished dishes and corresponding silverware were taken away, then the next course was set in its place. We enjoyed our time here and were thoroughly satisfied with our dinner from start to finish. Our appetizers were well-prepared and delicate. Our entrees were thoughtfully created, savory, and delicious. The dessert was rich, creamy, and devoured instantaneously... so good! The space itself was beautiful with unique and charming furnishings. We would sincerely like to thank Island for showing us kindness tonight. We had a wonderful dining experience! Thank you.

My pre birthday dinner, recommended by a friend as well. Nice cocktails selections and wines (of course). We had beef cheek, mushroom flatbread (mushroom lover must to have!) and lamb and beef sausage pasta with tomato sauce dish (which was very bright even with heavy meat, made a dish delightful). All dishes are great, served with house made bread and olive oil and I would come back here to try other dishes next time. I ordered Cab from Bledsoe without paying attention (we visited their winery in Bend), juicy red. Nice service is always a big plus!

We had a reservation, and they had our table ready the moment we walked in -- comfortable, well-placed, and perfect for conversation. The staff here deserves a shoutout. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when it came to picking drinks and explaining the menu without rushing us. They gave us that perfect balance of attention and space. First up: the chicken tortilla soup. This thing was flavorful, comforting, and packed with that slow-cooked, homemade taste. Honestly, it was delicious as-is, but a couple slices of avocado would seriously take it to the next level. Still -- a great start. Now the paella... WOW. A good size portion, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly -- not mushy, not dry -- and honestly better than what I've had at a lot of dedicated Spanish restaurants. The mix of seafood and chicken was generous, the seasoning was bright and warm, and every bite hit exactly how paella should. It was the star of the night. We paired everything with sangrias, and they were fantastic -- refreshing, not overly sweet, and just the right complement to the meal. The berry sangria especially worked ridiculously well with the paella. Overall, Tagaris gave us a solid, memorable dinner. Great service, great food, cozy atmosphere, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Definitely a place we'll be returning to.
