Because of the nature of the situation and the health hazard, I had to call another company to fix the faulty job they did. He said he would come today, May 20th, to do a starling stopper and clear everything out. He also said he would contact me the evening beforehand to confirm a time. I contacted him May 16th to see if he could come earlier because I have bugs dropping out of the vent due to the starling nest: No response. I contacted him again on May 19th to be sure he was coming again the next day, because the situation is extremely bad: No response. It is the end of the day on May 20th, and he did not show up. He did not attempt to get back to me in anyway. I prepaid for a (small) portion of what should have been today's fix, and I now have a full blown bird mite infestation instead.

Then proceeds to take a look for 5 minutes in my finished basement and does nothing in terms of patching or any other solution. He chose not to inspect the upstairs for penetration points or the attic if other snakes would be present. We proceed outside, points out a very obvious hole between the brick and a joint for the deck. Then walks around points out the possibility of entering where wires from the AC unit run, but does nothing to address. Walks around and gets "distracted" by fruit trees 50 ft away from the house and says "yeah i get distracted easy" Then proceeds to tell me to patch the hole and to call him back if anything enters. He set up a trap and within a few hours, there was a fat, male grey squirrel in there. He came back out the following day and blocked off the entry point and took care of the squirrel and trap. Couple of days later and no more attic activity of any sort. He did a wonderful job sealing off the prior entry point to make sure we won't have new guests trying to make a home in the attic. My favorite experience involved a pesky mouse problem we had in our kitchen...a lesser exterminator probably would have just kept putting down more traps and more poison. BioTech explained that you can and should seal off your kitchen so there are no holes large enough for a mouse to enter. They did this, but we kept seeing the mouse. They kept coming back (probably 5-6 times) at no extra charge, each time searching and finding an additional entry point. Eventually, they got them all, and we've never had a mouse since! I texted them around 4:30 and about 20 minutes later they called and said that their technician would be late (yes: obviously, since he was already late). So now I went on ChatGPT and it looked at their invoice and explained exactly what DIY stuff I would need every 3-4 months to easily do exactly what I was paying BioTech to do, at one-tenth the price.
