Still using Holiday at a new location and they still do a great job, 9 years later. They are prompt, thorough, and their teammates are always knowledgeable and happy to help. Haven't had any issues, and I don't see it changing. Outstanding pest control. read more

Switched over to this company after having one too many miserable experiences with a previous company. What a difference! They do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it, they have a great customer portal, they send receipts, and ask for feedback. I'm impressed with their responsiveness, the effectiveness of treatment, and the employees' work ethic. You can sign up for as little or as much as you need, no heavy sales gimmicks. I believe the fact that they are owner managed and not a national chain has a lot to do with it. read more

These guys are the best. John is super friendly and has been taking care of our home for years. I highly recommend this company, especially if you live in the woods and battle bugs! read more

Holiday Termite & Pest Control is by far the best pest control company in the area. I've used their rodent services for years, and I used them recently for termite prevention. A few weeks ago, a bunch of termite swarms came out at once in my area, and I was one of dozens of clients needing service. With the high influx of calls, my appointment was made for two weeks out, but I was called and serviced a few days later after a cancellation. Chris came out, confirmed we didn't have termites, but we decided to get the preventative treatment. He was very thorough and took time to explain what happened with the swarm, and what all our next steps would look like. He also gave me a killer recommendation for good chicken wings, and as an Update NY-er, this information is more valuable than gold. I often have other pest prevention companies knocking on my door, and I make it known I'm a loyal Holiday customer. They all seem to know too, because they thank me and head in the other direction without any other questions. Not only is Holiday one of the best pest control companies out there, it is overall one of the best small business companies in the area. I wish I had more opportunities to bring up pest control in conversations so I could recommend them more. read more

I highly recommend using Holiday Pest Control!! They were so quick in responding to my call to set up an appointment, and Anthony was the one who came out to inspect our house for any other potential mice issues. He was incredibly thorough during the entire process and explained everything that he was doing, the reasons behind it, and asked if we had any questions or other concerns that we needed addressed. He made me feel extremely comforted knowing that the issue was being handled! My husband and I signed up for the membership option where they come out every two months to check the mouse bait and spray outside the house for bugs. Absolutely worth the money for my peace of mind! read more

We felt frustrated by the lack of expertise with a previous company, so gave Holiday a try. The free inspection with Chris was super helpful. We rent our basement and he spoke knowledgeably with our tenants and us. He spent plenty of time looking over the entire basement apartment and the exterior of our house. He pointed out several entry points around our foundation and explained how the mice were probably entering. He shared the recommended treatment and cost, which was in line with the previous company we'd used. However, his knowledge and time were worth a lot more! The cost included a follow up visit a week later to review how the treatment had progressed and do the final sealing. He did another inspection then and explained what he saw and how the treatment would continue working. Oh, and did I mention that I called mid-day on a Friday and it was the following Saturday morning that he came? Great service, great price, great experience. Thanks, Chris & Holiday! read more

I actually found Holiday through yelp. Really impressed with their customer service. They are very professional and friendly over the phone and I get an email and phone call when a technician is on the way. Anthony Slade has come out twice and he does excellent work. He also explains everything in detail. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the deal is if you choose to have a contract with them. read more

Came to provide a termite inspection. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Broke down the treatment and costs with extreme detail and didn't pressure or scare you. Great company with passionate employees they also educated you about termites during the inspection read more

Holiday Termite & Pest Control was responsive to my request for help after seeing a mouse in my house (eek!). Anthony was professional, helpful, and answered all my questions in the initial appointment, as well as the follow up appointment. They recommended bait stations, which helped prevent any further visitors in my house. The pricing was reasonable compared to other companies I spoke to and they did not require an annual contract like Orkin. Thank you Holiday - it always feels good to support a local business. read more

So we had a weird and sudden infestation of yellow jackets coming into my bathroom (2nd floor with East facing window) that started a few weeks ago and got progressively worse. Went from one or two in the mornings to, finally, more than two dozen at once. Called Holiday on a Tuesday afternoon and they sent one of their professionals the next day. Anthony called me to let me know he was 10 minutes out and, sure enough, 10 minutes later he was at the door. First off, what an impression he made. Totally professional. Direct eye contact introducing himself and waited to be invited into the house (of course, right, but still). Showed him the scene of the crime, taking out the screen to let him look out to see any visible hives - there weren't any. Then he went outside to inspect. Told me there weren't any established hives where there should be if we had an established 'nest' (my words, not his). He then talked me through what the issue likely was and explained that this was likely an aberration due to the weird weather we've been having. I told Anthony my husband had hot glued some screening to the inside of my bathroom vent fan a couple of days prior and we hadn't seen a yellow jacket since. Bottom line, Anthony told me we didn't have a permanent issue and didn't need their service at this time. But he did explain how their services work - including that they are environmentally conscious and use their products judiciously. He also gave me a quick overview of their pricing. Bottom line, if/when we ever need their services they will absolutely get our business and I will ask for Anthony specifically. Might seem weird to give 5 stars for no actual physical service rendered, but wow. This business clearly has their act together if they've got this kind of professionalism representing them. read more

This company is top tier! After dealing with another company's extremely poor communication, I had to let them go which unfortunately left my house unprotected in the height of the season, in an extremely wooded area with lots of vegetation. A coworker suggested I try Holiday Termite & Pest. An initial inspection was scheduled within one week, which was amazing bc we'd started to have heavy rains and ants and spiders were finding their way inside. Let me tell you about Chris. This guy is extraordinary. He's not just unbelievably knowledgeable in his field, he's badged, certified and titled. Chris's encyclopedic knowledge of bugs and critters gives you 100% assurance that you have chosen the right company. Plus he's just a nice guy whom I probably could've had a chat with all day. Lastly, Holiday Termite & Pest provides far more quality service for waaaaaaaay less than my previous company. Value unmatched. I was actually totally blown away. Don't sleep on this company. It's a hidden gem! If you live in Northern Virginia, this should be your pest control service of choice. Tell a friend, I will be. read more

Anthony has been helping us with mice control. Very positive so far and very happy with the customer experience and scheduling/back office touch points, beyond the very positive experience with him. Recommend checking them out before going to one of the national big guys. read more

One-year update: Excellent and friendly service whenever I call and when I meet the tech in person. That said, I have not reached the goal of zero bugs, which might be an unrealistic goal anyway. Got quite a bit of springtails with the wet weather this spring and summer. Got sprickets and spiders in the house and garage in the summer. A lot of them die (I think from the effects of what Holiday sprays) so you'll find dried-up corpses, but there are still live ones that I have to deal with. I have not had a rodent problem, but Holiday also maintains rodent bait stations in my yard. If you'd like them to spray inside the house and garage, you have to call them for an appointment; otherwise, they'll just check and spray the outside. read more

I love them. We are pest free after one visit. They arrived on time, took my concerns seriously, (following me around my basement as I expressed my concerns about spiders), and treated me with respect and politeness. Living in an attached town house we worry about bugs and mice. We called Holiday for help. Their pricing is reasonable and they had us scheduled for a visit very quickly. Finally, they were very kind about my dog who barks incessantly at anyone trying to help us. read more

Cristopher, our inspector as well as treatment service provider, was on time and prompt, efficient, informative, neat, and thorough. He took time to explain our needs and answer all our questions. He went the extra mile to move items so treatment could be done thoroughly. I think the cost was reasonable (inspection visit was free). Also his office staff person, Nicole, kindly provided quick help and scheduling. Would definitely use them again if needed. read more

Anthony was a few minutes early for both my initial appointment and the follow up. He was very professional and respectful of our space. He gave me a thorough rundown of everything he was doing and why. Anthony is very knowledgeable and is definitely an expert in his field. I learned more about mice from him than I ever thought I would know. He answered all of my questions and even opened up some of the equipment to give me a better look. We signed up to get inspections/treatments every other month. I'm very confident that we won't be seeing any more mice in our new home. I highly recommend this company to any and all looking for pest services in the area. read more

We have been clients with Holiday now for at least 3 years. When we moved into the house our first fall and winter...had a problem with tiny mice in winter and spider and ants in spring and summer. It was absolutely an uncomfortable feeling...worked with a couple companies, but their process felt less effective, but somehow very costly. We now are on a subscription program with Holiday and the coin is worth it. They are knowledgeable, effective, and prompt. Everyone who shows up has been respectful and competent. I cannot speak highly enough of this business. read more

I have worked with several pest companies over the past decade for multiple homes, and Holiday Termite & Pest Control is simply the best I have worked with by far. They are not only personable and professional, but take the time to explain what they did and why they did it. We have worked with Anthony a few times in particular and he is absolutely fantastic!!! You couldn't ask for a better group of people to safeguard your home from pests. read more

Best customer service ever! Cris is a knowledgeable mouse preventer and kind person. I need people who have to come into my home to wear a mask and he was so cooperative. I had wolf spiders 8 years ago and this company got rid of them permanently! A few weeks ago, we had mice! The folks at Holiday are very knowledgeable, professional and they won't empty your wallet like the big companies (chains) that weren't honest and took my money. I'm so happy to recommend Holiday for your pest control! Melinda read more

Wonderful! Friendly and got rid of the pest!!!! Highly recommend. Anthony was our technician and he knows his stuff!!

we've called up Holiday for all of our pest issues and they've delivered awesome results with even better service.

These folks were fantastic. They were quick to respond to a question about ridding our backyard of rats. They arrived within 2 days of us reaching out and right at their promised time. They were very professional and thorough. Provided us with their analysis, complete explanation of the situation, plan of action, and price including follow up actions. The team they sent was really professional and proudly represented Holiday Pest Control. They effectively resolved our issue as confirmed by two in-person follow-up visits. I have been using Holiday Pest Control for numerous years and I cannot say enough about the customer service that is provided by this company. From the office to the field STELLAR Customer Service. I have used other chains for service that were horrible and stumbled across Holiday years ago and nobody should use any other company. Holiday is responsive, professional and if anything needs a second treatment they are immediately onsite. Don't use the other guys only use Holiday. Anthony was amazing today and I cannot praise him or Holiday for the high quality work. And by the way the way there uniforms are not just a cheap t-shirt they are here to do business. Cannot say enough about Holiday Pest Control. They answered my call right away and had a technician come to my house the next day. Anthony (the technician) was curtious and prompt. So professional and easy to work with. No one wants a pest problem, but if you have one, this is the place to call. Pricing is reasonable as well. read more

If you are looking for superior service, reliability, and excellent value, then look no further. This company is local, family owned, and provides a tremendous value for their services. We had used three other companies before trying Holiday and I wish I would have started here first. Their products work. No other company had been able to quell our mouse problem before and Holiday was able to deliver on their promise. Raymond was training someone while our home was being treated. His attention to detail, knowledge of protocols, and care for our family proved we made the right choice in using Holiday. I know, beyond a doubt, that we will be customers for life. **COVID NOTE** Employees wore masks, some are fully vaccinated, all are tested, and the team is working towards full vaccination for everyone. read more

Engaged them on the recommendation of a neighbor and have had a really positive experience so far. The technician -- Anthony, was prompt, courteous and explained everything in great detail. Would recommend! read more

We have been seen an increasing number of ants in the basement, so just to be on the safe side, we wanted a professional to take a look and came across Holiday given its great reviews. It was a breeze to schedule an initial appointment and Anthony was able to come at our preferred time with proper heads-up. He was very professional in explaining why we have been seen more ants and what he would do to prevent them from coming. He explained things would get worse before it gets better, which is indeed the case. Anthony did a follow-up one week later to make sure things are going in the right direction. We ended up choosing the long-term contract as we feel reassured with their regular check-ins and they not only cover ants issues but also other pests. Highly recommend! read more

So weird to love your pest control company as much as we do- but these guys are so wonderful. They are available when we need them, they do an amazing job (husband is deathly afraid of spiders, lol) and they are very tidy, professional, and thorough. We have regularly scheduled service and they make it so easy that we hardly even notice it as something we have happening. Also worth mentioning that the technician who came by today said this is a great job and that he loves working for these folks. Isn't that awesome? I'm really happy to support this local company. read more

We noticed a termite swarm in early June and panicked. We called a few companies and some claimed we had a termite problem and "they're probably already inside the walls" despite it only being a few we saw further from the house. Holiday, however, came over and carefully examined each inch of our foundation and porch and said we likely didn't have an issue yet but recommended the termidor barrier. So honest, helpful and affordable. We now have peace of mind for 10 years as long as we have the annual inspection done for a nominal fee. The employee that was sent out was always very informative and respectful (wore a mask even outside to talk to my husband). He left the space completely clean and as if it was untouched ! Highly recommend and trust them. Editing to add that we had to have some drainage work done after our Termidor treatment and afterwards they were so nice and quick to come back and retreat the small area that was dug up by the drainage company. So friendly and reliable. read more
