Our technician, Blair, arrived on time and did a quick inspection of the house. His expertise was impressive, discussing how and why spider crickets there, and identified additional cricket species we had hopping around down there. He also inspected the rest of the house for any other potential pest issues, including pulling out appliances. Moving into a new place is not always fun and rarely easy, and Blair's confidence that our house lacked any evidence of a major pest issue was what we needed to hear. He was also super friendly! After the inspection, Blair got to work in the basement and the rest of the house, inside and outside. Since Blair's visit, now about four months ago, we've not had a single spider cricket. I am in a DC row house and every couple years I've got nice. Usually I resolve it myself but I'm renting it out for a bit and I needed to find someone to handle it. Most of my pest control experiences have been bad with them just putting out super toxic poisons in an unsafe manner and charging a fortune. Potomac pest control was amazing though. I wish I could remember the techs name. I was in the phone and we talked through what he was seeing. He found a couple holes in the exterior where my house connected with my neighbors that I had missed and even went into my neighbors home which is rented out and put bait boxes there since we always have mice between our houses.
