We haven't had a pest problem in a very long time so when we discovered a HUGE wasp next a neighbor recommended My Pest Pros. They responded on a Sunday. Scheduled us quickly. When Kay the technician got here she was efficient, professional and brave! I would definitely use them in the future. Definitely worth the value. read more

I get termite control and tick and mosquito spray. Easy to schedule, very reliable. Anthony came out today and was great!

We have had My Pest Pros for a couple of years and have had good experiences. They come out quickly when we need treatment (like for a wasp nest). Recently, we had Kay come out to do some in-home treatment and she was awesome! Very friendly, explained everything and got the job done efficiently. read more

I've been using My Pest Pros for about 10 years, back when the owner of the company would come out and do the treatments himself. He was great! But as the company has gotten bigger, I've noticed the techs doing the treatment have become average. My last visit, the price went up to $300 for a one-time treatment (compared to my neighbors who are paying $120-$150 for one-time treatments). I paid because I've been loyal to this company. BUT when I was still finding bugs in our home after the treatment, I called to tell the customer service rep. That's when I learned that My Pest Pros no longer has a re-treatment warranty for one-time treatments (something that they've had for all my other visits). Unfortunately this was the final straw and I will be switching to a new company for future visits. read more

They're a great pest control service and solved a problem that another pest control service failed to remediate.

Our family had a positive experience with My Pest Pros (MPP) in removing a large hornet's nest (soccer-ball size) from a tree just above the driveway of our townhome. After looking at Yelp reviews and comparing vendors, I decided to try MPP as a first-time customer. Lots of pluses. First, Kayla (receptionist) was friendly and professional during the intake call on Friday to assess the problem, ask for the location of the hornet's nest, and provide an estimated time window on the next business day (Monday). We requested a one-time service payment option by check. Second, the staff person (Hunter) arrived on time (8:30am) and called me 15 minutes in advance. He completed the job in about 40 minutes by spraying chemicals to reduce the number of live hornets, sawed off the entire branch of the crape myrtle tree, and then cleared the entire branch with the soccer-ball size hornet's nest attached. Third, he explained we were lucky the hornets were not bald-faced hornets (which continue to attack you even after the nest is removed). Although it was $275 to complete the work, it was worth it to remove the hornet's nest and gain peace of mind. We would use their services again! read more

My Pest Pros - Hornet's nest in the middle removed! - Pest Control Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

The guys did a good job. I had a couple of "mud nests" (wasps) in my condo unit's hot water heater closet (which is next to my balcony in an outdoor area). Just rating 2 stars though because it was pretty pricy considering the actual work done! $300 for less than five minutes of actual work ... The nests were small. There were no active wasps in there apparently (I had sprayed the two biggest ones myself earlier in the week.) The guys just sprayed them, knocked them down into a bag, sprayed again and that was that. I was told the charge was a "fixed rate" that took the warranty and supplies used into account. But the only "supplies" were a metal tool to knock down the nest and some spray. I can't imagine that's anywhere near $300 worth, and -- if you do the math -- the hourly rate for these guys works out to $3600 an hour! Seems a bit much. read more

UPDATE: Same day I wrote this review, I got a call back from Kala apologizing that I never got a call back Friday, and we discussed way's forward. I think at this point, I would view this as a 4.5 star, but increasing from 3 to 4 for the Yelp perspective. Bottom line, they called me back, came up with a plan. Although the singular carpenter bee hole was treated, since they didn't do it, they cannot attest to it, so they have having to do it again. They were able to offer a special since it is 1 hole, but able to take care of it the next day. Still frustrated by the entire process, but I will give them credit for calling me back and trying to come up with a plan...Too bad the other company has written me off. MyPestPro does work with their customers. Original...(below is unchanged). Typically polite people, but it seems MyPestPro's is more concerned about money then quality customer service or returning phone calls. I had very high hopes, and they met portions of them. I called them because Terminix is the worst company in the industry and didn't complete their job they were hired to do. I called MyPestPro's needing a termite inspection for a VA loan. I hired MyPestPro's for a Termite Inspection for the house and Shed as they were the only items on the appraisal, and thats the only thing that needed to be inspected. John came out and was very polite, and nice, he was not overly pushy as a salesman, which is a step above Terminix. He went through the House and Shed, and found nothing...Terminix stopped at the Shed, then wanted to charge me for a full new inspection even though there were supposed to do the shed in the first place. The problem comes in with the business practices outside of John. When discussing with John, we informed him the Shed and House are the only areas in the Inspection...but John continued to "inspect" other items not on the appraisal. He found a single hole in the back, not near any structure, with no other sign of a carpenter bee, and added that in the Inspection. Not sure if it actually was, but no big deal. The charge to remediate for it is $299...He informed me of what he would do which is remove the larvae, and spray, then I would need to fill the hole. That is ridiculous. Either way, had the area treated and filled not by them. Called them back the same day (Friday) informing them that portion of the property was not supposed to be included, and asked for a call back to figure out how to either have the inappropriate areas removed or re-inspected. No call back. Called Monday again, trying to figure it out, the call taker was not sure and had the call the office. I asked to just schedule an inspection, and we can figure out the rest after, but I don't want to be delayed. She would not do that and said she would call me back with the information. They said they had to do a new complete inspection since they didn't do the work...Ok, I get it, but a full $99 inspection for the one single area that shouldn't have been done in the first place? Fine, whatever, I just need to get this done ASAP. I asked to have it scheduled ASAP needing this done by the end of the month, and they were "full" for Tuesday and Wednesday, and the best they could do was Thursday. I would imagine if they called me back as requested Friday, I could have had this squared away Monday or Tuesday, instead of Thursday. Very frustrating. read more

Have used their services over the last few years and they are always extremely knowledgeable and professional. They always address all my concerns and if there's a problem with any pests still showing up after they've left they come back and address it. Their back office communication was also terrific. The technician was up to speed on the concerns I had communicated to whomever I spoke to over the phone. Highly recommend! read more

My Pest Pros removed a large hornet's nest on my property. They communicated well about arrival time, showed up promptly, discussed the treatment with me and did an excellent job of taking care of this very dangerous hornet's nest. read more

We had My Pest Pros come to help us figure out / treat an ant issue. Antoyne provided the service, and was fantastic - on time, great customer service, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, walk me through what he found and his recommendations, and came back three weeks later to make sure the treatment had worked. We haven't worked with a pest / exterminator service before, but know where we'll go first if we need services in the future! read more

Worked with a couple of their technicians and they have been great. Very responsive, reliable, and on time. As far as customer service, Kayla, is probably one of the nicest people I've spoken to. She is always looking for ways to help and will return calls. Liked the team so much, I made sure to call on them when moving to a new house in FFX. read more

Very reliable. I have a very landscaped yard. The technicians are always very mindful not to disrupt any of my plants or Hardscape. We have used this company for several years and have Never been disappointed read more

If I could, I'd give them zero stars. This pest control company is a complete scam--steer clear! The staff is incredibly rude and dismissive of people's time. To make matters worse, their technician broke my car's rear light while entering my home. When I contacted Brett about getting it repaired, they refused to take responsibility. I would stay away from this business. SCAMMERS! read more

We had the same experience as another reviewer. We called on a Thursday and got a quote. We called on Saturday to accept the quote, and was told to wait for a call back. We left a message on Sunday. On Monday we got our call back that explained that they only have an answering service on the weekend, there wasn't anyone from the company to answer our call. Also, the quote we received a few days ago would be at least 50% more money, and this second person said the first person misunderstood what services they offered. There are lots of pest control companies - I would not call these people again. read more

ETA: the company reached out and all was resolved. Thank you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was a customer from 2015-2018 and was happy with their service. We used autopay for quarterly service. We moved out of the home in 2018 and ended our service contract in writing and a phone call. All was well. Fast forward to three weeks ago, I unsubscribed from their email list service. I then received an email stating that I had a $700 fee on my account. I questioned how that was possible, as we haven't used their service in 4 years. Today, they have threatened further actions in the form of collections. Mind you- we have not lived in said house in four years nor used their services in 4 years. Please be aware of their billing practices and lack of customer service when it comes to billing. read more

MPP's technician, Jeff, came out promptly on time with a telephone call in advance of his arrival. He was very professional and pleasant to speak with and expressed a strong determination to get rid of the underground yellow jacket next that I was unable to eliminate myself. So far, his chemical application appears to have worked with no damage to surrounding plants. Jeff was a real pro. read more

We have been using MPP for about a year now. When we moved in the house had a mouse problem. We also had a pretty bad ant issue too. These guys came out regularly until the problem was completely gone. I mean weekly to be very on top of it and to monitor the diminishing numbers. They're very good at following up and accommodating schedules. They're very easy to communicate with too. I'm going to send them to my River House next! read more

From outstanding customer service provided by Kala (Kayla?) to expert technical and customer service provided by George, I cannot recommend My Pest Pro's more! As someone who rarely writes reviews, without hesitation, I need to express my gratitude and appreciation for the excellent services received. Having recently moved into a corner townhouse with a beautiful, lush forest behind us, I noted quite a bit of spider and critter activity in our garage, lower back patio and bushes. With a 7 y/o and pets, I wanted to ensure our total comfort and safety ASAP. Kala allowed me to vent with great professionalism, empathy and compassion. She clearly and concisely articulated my plan and treatment options, which was promptly followed by her scheduling a phenomenal technician to come assist within less than 48 hours! As I was DoD Pesticide Applicator Certified for 8 years, upon George's arrival, I immediately began to question his methods, application and dewebbing process. George provided expert answers along with objectives, plan of action and milestones. While he conveyed they're should be no issues following treatment, George reassured me that with my Pro Plan, if pest related issues occur between my quarterly treatments, all I need to do is reach out to My Pest Pro and he or another technician would return at soonest. 10/10 service all around - Thank you My Pest Pro! read more

Chris from My Pest Pros is great to work with! We had a mice issue that we uncovered randomly in our basement and we called the My Pest Pros team. Chris came promptly, was friendly and knowledgeable and the first round we were able to catch 9 mice! We had no idea they were there. Chris came back on a third visit and suggested an additional week to make sure everything is good since they closed the areas of entry so that mice can not find refuge in our home. We are so happy to be rid of the mice since this has never happened before. We rarely cook and keep our house pretty clean so this can happen to anyone! Thank you Chris and the My Pest Pros team! We highly recommend them. read more

My Pest Pros is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Their office staff has gone above and beyond to help me with a pest problem. Melanie, Kellie and Krystal have each gone above and beyond to assist me. The two technicians that have been out to my property are Chris and Mark. They were determined to help me with an ongoing problem when other companies may have said we have done all that we could to help you. They just never gave up. They are honest, hard working professionals. read more

Company is a sham - call more than once and you will get more than one answer or price. Technician spilled poisonous powder all over the carpet in our nursery and suggested it wasn't a problem. Not happy with the service and tried to cancel but they refused. Also, the mosquito treatments only really lasted for a couple of days. They'll tell you it's a cumulative treatment that gets better with time, but that is definitely not the case. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. read more

I recommend pest pro because mark was so professional and performed his job in a timely manner. I had to cash the office for sound information and kellie responded immediately. I was taken care of so we'll. As a veteran I was treated with respect and dignity. Great company!!!! read more

Needed an exterminator ASAP.....Asked if there were any available spots today. Rep had to ask me all these questions instead of a yes or no answer and then transferred me to someone else to schedule. The next rep said the next available date was next Tuesday. WHAT FORM OF ASAP DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND???? So he said he would look to see what he can do and put me on hold. Then I was promptly disconnected. Nothing like a great first impression to new customer! Yeah, like I will call on you guys again. BUG BYE!!!!! And owner, please don't bother to contact me to make amends, I've moved on..... read more

First of all, I am so glad we went with this company. Second, Levi is the MAN. He showed up for us the same day I called. Twice! Once to set the traps, and the second to collect. We needed him to catch a pesky mouse and he did it in less than a week. I highly recommend this company and highly highly recommend Levi. We signed up for the monthly plan just in case, and as long as Levi is there we will feel more than comfortable to keep our subscription! Thanks again! read more

Responding to the owner, who wrote a comment here denying that it was actually his company that I had dealt with- I have a yelp message from 11/2017 where you state that you tried calling me at work acknowledging that was the number I'd called your company from, and that you wanted to apologize and explain why this disaster occurred. I just added the photo so other reviewers can see for themselves. I'm not confused about what company I dealt with, and neither are you. I was directing the Yelp readers to check the filtered reviews, not you. There are a few more 1 star reviews which echo my experience with bad customer service. Oddly, all the 5 star reviews were from brand new accounts and popped up after my 1 star one. Hmm. Seems totally legit. Perhaps your time would be better spent training your employees on how they should conduct themselves when representing your business rather than dismissing people's concerns on yelp. Take care. read more

I have had a wonderful experience with My Pest Pros in large part due to George, our main technician. He is amazing at his job. He is professional, highly competent, trustworthy and kind. We were having an issue with critters in our attic and George and Signin went above and beyond for us. They came to our house first thing in the morning on a Saturday and alleviated the issue, all within 10 minutes - - at no charge to us! It was incredible and we are so grateful to George and Signins hard work. Thank you to both of them and My pest Pros for a positive experience. We will be recommending them to others in large part due to this and other positive experiences we have had. read more

George is amazing! He came in and immediately caught a bug. George is professional, knowledgeable, and helped to educate us on preventative measures. George also went above and beyond and quickly helped me to place a screen over the vent leading to the furnace where spiders and cobwebs were lurking. My Pest Pros is a family owned business that truly cares about its customers. The team is professional, responsive and they deliver on their promises. I am very happy with my decision to switch to My Pest Pros. Before the switch to My Pest Pros, I used different companies for pests, termites and mosquitoes. The pest and termite services were provided by different divisions of one company, but it might as well have been 2 different companies. Nothing was coordinated and I paid 3 different sets of bills. I also had ants that would not go away. They would come back out and treat, but within a few weeks, the ants would be back. Since switching to My Pest Pros, we are pest free (including the ants), I have a single monthly bill that covers all of my services (for a better price than I was paying before), I have access to an online account that details each treatment, I receive a courtesy call reminding me of my upcoming treatments and I know that if anything comes up, they are a call away. Thank you to Brett Lieberman and his team. read more

The technician would spend less than 5 minutes during each visit just rearranging a bait station. After 1.5 month the mouse still exploring our home (I setup cameras), and the technician never bothered to use another approach. Be very cautious about "The 100% Satisfaction & Guarantee" on MyPestPros website which is only for their annual program. When I complained about their ineffectiveness intensive 1 month program they didn't issue a refund (or even a partial refund) and wanted to drag me into an annual contract (for a single mouse). Don't recommend this company at all. read more

I am so thankful to have an annual service with this company. We had mice in our house and the trap that we used left the crime scene a big mess. To the point that we couldn't stomach going in to the room. I called My Pest Pros, and they squeezed us in the next day. George came in and took care of everything. He helped us clean up the mess from the traps, put new and more contained traps in (much better than our own), helped to hunt down holes that they came in from and even patched the holes. A neighbor had an issue with squirrels in her attic and mice. Another company was quoting her an enormous fee to handle the problem. I referred Brett to her and she was thrilled. He did not charge her for some of the work the other company was saying needed to be done. She was so happy she referred him to another neighbor as have I. When/if the need arises for us I wouldn't hesitate to call My Pest Pros. Brett is very knowledgeable, reliable and honest. read more

The guys at My Pest Pros have been excellent. When we first started having our bug problem they came out and had a look around the house. They explained in detail where the bugs would be, how they would come in and what they were looking for. Then they put down some poison and glue pads. They warned me that we would see an uptick in activity for a time and then it would get better. Sure enough that is what happened. But for the last year we have not had one critter inside the house. Now they limit their work to a barrier around the house. They did a great job and I would not hesitate recommending them to everyone. Atilla read more

Omg what great customer service!!! I'm truly humbled and appreciative of this company! My gf and I were in Arlington this week for 3 days and 2 nights. Staying at 3 star hotel and I noticed that I was the only one getting bug bites. Turns out to be bed bugs on my last night bc I couldn't sleep. This was a first ever experience. So I'm freaking out but trying to be calm. I start researching on Yelp to see what laundry cleaners and pest control people I can call to come in ASAP should hotel management not want to send in an investigator to asses the situation and our personal belongings. So with no sleep for 7 hours I called started using Yelp's quote feature and it's amazing! The owner personally messaged me via Yelp and gave me his office mate. Then followed up with me due to office mate not being able to come in to assist me over the phone. I very thankful for Brett I'm contacting me ASAP as soon as he found out his office mate couldn't make into the office. I had explained the situation that I was in & he gave me good tips and offered to provide any references should I need further assistance when I reached home. He was professional and able to reassure me of all the information I found out via google (bc of spazzing out). I explained that I would leave his contact info with hotel management as well to try to connect their business. This has been an emotional and physical ordeal (worse than a breakup..lmao ) I would never want myself or anyone else to go thru this! But you trek on with a smile and thank those who can offer their genuine help and sincerity! Therefore the 5 stars!!! Hope you guys got the job!!! :) Thank you! read more

I sent the initial email to Pest Pros on Memorial Day. They were very responsive and provided me with a range of prices for their services. I scheduled the initial consultation for today. To my surprise, I was advised to get a new door sweep as that may be the entry point for the pests. There was plenty of bait/traps in my home that was undisturbed, so the technician didn't advise treatment at this time. He noted that if I still had issues after the door sweep was replaced then we could address additional treatment at that time. This honesty is unheard of. My experience is that there is always some estimate and folks are ready & willing to take money. I really appreciated the technician's integrity and if I do actually have issues again, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Pest Pros or recommend them to my condo board. read more
