Service was provided on July 7th for an insect and mice control. First the good: the people setting the appointment were prompt and polite, and the technician that came out was also polite and friendly. The bad: we asked the technician to not use glue traps, and asked if any were used around the house. He said no, and said they were spring traps only. Not only did he set glue traps and several locations around the house, because he didn't disclose the use, he didn't disclose where the traps were set, so we have had to hunt around the house ourselves to remove them. We personally don't like using glue traps as they are inhumane and stated our preference for spring traps instead. Furthermore, today I found a centipede and one of the areas where he said at he sprayed, which as of this writing is less than 2 weeks after the service. read more

Alpha Pest Management came this afternoon after I had an unwelcome bat in my house late last night, which animal control had promptly come to get out of my house. He assessed my attics and walked around the property. My access points were all sealed up tight. He said this is a busy time for bats and to be careful opening doors at dusk since they are flying around and trying to find a place to roost. He said when your access points are sealed, and there is no way in, an open door for a few seconds make a fast entry for bats. They are quick and can fly right in above your head and not even be seen. Yikes! Okay I will be keeping the door shut when I let the dogs out at night from now on! we contacted Alpha Pest Management because we started seeing bed bugs so we contacted Alpha Pest Management. They came out to do an inspection and to give us a quote. We liked the quote and set an appointment for them to come out. Two of the exterminators came out and sprayed and then we set another appointment for them to come back out a month later but the second time only one person came to do the job and he cause all kinds of discoloration on out head head, nightstand, dressers and bed frames. I was so angry because the young man that came didn't do a good job so we had to call the office to advise them of the problem. The office then sent out a manager and Moe who we made the appointment with to do the work. They came out and sprayed a liquid that cleared the discoloration and they sprayed two of the rooms again for the bed bugs. After that we waited for another 30 days and we set another appointment at the end of May for the pest control guys to do another job. We confirmed that the exterminators was supposed to come out the end of May because we were still seeing bed bugs but the exterminator never showed up or called and the office didn't follow up with us to explain why there was a no show. I am angry at the level of service that we received and the unprofessional service given. I would not recommend this exterminating company to anyone. So they say $95 flat fee. That is to inspect your property. Shop around; the inspection is free for everyone else. These guys actually charge you $95 to show up. They may do this as a surprise, and if you let them in, you get charged. They sent us an invoice for $18,450.00 to perform remediation work. In my opinion, this is predatory pricing. We received other quotes for a couple of hundred dollars each, and they include a 1-year warranty. Shop wisely, I was encouraged by the inspection until I got the undisclosed bill for it, and then the follow-up with the $18,450.00 price tag. We went with someone else. read more
