I had an amazing experience with Alpha Pest and would recommend them to any and everyone. I had Eastern hornets in my attic that were getting in through some opening on my roof. They made a whole through my ceiling and were in my master bedroom. I had called a larger company and they sent out someone on 2 different occasions and they did NOTHING. I was very happy with the work performed by Justin and Philip. About a week previously, my daughter noted "a lot of bees" in the attic playroom. The bees were coming in through a hole in the drywall. There were hundreds of bees throughout the room. My first thought was holy s&$! Alpha pest management was recommended by one of my neighbors. Justin called me back on the day when I put in a service request via their website. While I had to wait a bit that day to get a response (this is not a big firm with lots of sales agents and so forth), I spoke with Justin (an exterminator) himself. I didn't have to waste my time speaking to some sales agent. Just asked me to send some pictures of the bees. He immediately told me they were not carpenter bees, which do not sting, but hornets which do! He came the next day to take a look around and recommended taping up the hole in the drywall. This solved the immediate problem of hundreds of bees getting into the attic. Despite Monday being a holiday, he said he was available. He came with his associate, Phillip, who does the drywall repair. Overall, a very professional and positive experience. I am very happy that these @&$!ing hornets are dead. read more

Service was provided on July 7th for an insect and mice control. First the good: the people setting the appointment were prompt and polite, and the technician that came out was also polite and friendly. The bad: we asked the technician to not use glue traps, and asked if any were used around the house. He said no, and said they were spring traps only. Not only did he set glue traps and several locations around the house, because he didn't disclose the use, he didn't disclose where the traps were set, so we have had to hunt around the house ourselves to remove them. We personally don't like using glue traps as they are inhumane and stated our preference for spring traps instead. Furthermore, today I found a centipede and one of the areas where he said at he sprayed, which as of this writing is less than 2 weeks after the service. read more

I spent $1,850 with Alpha Pest Services for rodent control, and unfortunately, I'm extremely disappointed with the results. Justin came out at the end of March, and the service I paid for specifically included attic treatment, sealing the attic edge line, sealing exterior weep holes, sealing an entry point along the garage roofline, and attic baiting/trapping. The entire point of paying this much was not simply to put out traps--it was to identify and seal the entry points so the mouse problem would actually be addressed. Yet only a few months later, I'm once again hearing mice running back and forth up in the attic. For $1,850, I think it's completely reasonable to expect the exclusion work to last longer than a few months. Instead, my experience has been that the emphasis seems to be on returning for repeated treatments every few months rather than actually eliminating the source of the problem. I understand that no pest-control company can guarantee a mouse will never enter a home again, but when you charge $1,850 specifically for rodent control and exclusion/sealing work, customers should reasonably expect the entry points to be properly identified and secured. I paid for a solution to the problem, not an endless cycle of recurring treatments. read more

Alpha Pest Management came this afternoon after I had an unwelcome bat in my house late last night, which animal control had promptly come to get out of my house. He assessed my attics and walked around the property. My access points were all sealed up tight. He said this is a busy time for bats and to be careful opening doors at dusk since they are flying around and trying to find a place to roost. He said when your access points are sealed, and there is no way in, an open door for a few seconds make a fast entry for bats. They are quick and can fly right in above your head and not even be seen. Yikes! Okay I will be keeping the door shut when I let the dogs out at night from now on! So they say $95 flat fee. That is to inspect your property. Shop around; the inspection is free for everyone else. These guys actually charge you $95 to show up. They may do this as a surprise, and if you let them in, you get charged. They sent us an invoice for $18,450.00 to perform remediation work. In my opinion, this is predatory pricing. We received other quotes for a couple of hundred dollars each, and they include a 1-year warranty. Shop wisely, I was encouraged by the inspection until I got the undisclosed bill for it, and then the follow-up with the $18,450.00 price tag. We went with someone else. read more

we contacted Alpha Pest Management because we started seeing bed bugs so we contacted Alpha Pest Management. They came out to do an inspection and to give us a quote. We liked the quote and set an appointment for them to come out. Two of the exterminators came out and sprayed and then we set another appointment for them to come back out a month later but the second time only one person came to do the job and he cause all kinds of discoloration on out head head, nightstand, dressers and bed frames. I was so angry because the young man that came didn't do a good job so we had to call the office to advise them of the problem. The office then sent out a manager and Moe who we made the appointment with to do the work. They came out and sprayed a liquid that cleared the discoloration and they sprayed two of the rooms again for the bed bugs. After that we waited for another 30 days and we set another appointment at the end of May for the pest control guys to do another job. We confirmed that the exterminators was supposed to come out the end of May because we were still seeing bed bugs but the exterminator never showed up or called and the office didn't follow up with us to explain why there was a no show. I am angry at the level of service that we received and the unprofessional service given. I would not recommend this exterminating company to anyone. Now my husband and I have to start all over again to resolve the problem with bedbugs. Alpha Pest Management needs to work on their servic, communicatio, work quality and timelines.
