Horrible customer service and terrible service that was not thorough at all. If I could give the…read morecompany zero stars I would. It's extremely frustrating to pay $500 for an incomplete service that only took the technician 40 minutes and did not get the job done. Subsequently, I persistently called, left voicemails and emailed for 2 weeks letting them know of my issue and they kept giving me the run around. It's unfortunate because they were so quick to get me scheduled to take my money but when I told them they obviously didn't do the job I paid for, they have been completely ghost. Because of the nature of the situation and the health hazard, I had to call another company to fix the faulty job they did. The new company is excellent, great customer service and I will recommend them to everyone with any similar issues as well as my HOA because we have wildlife issues is my neighborhood quite often. Companies like Jesse James do not care about customers... customers who work hard NOT to throw away money! I do not write reviews often so when I do it's because I value my dollar and do not want others taking advantage. Sadly, I was referred to Jesse James by another company who could not get to me sooner so I'll have to also let them know about my experience so others do not have my same fate! And do not lie and say you were not given access to the interior of the house (like you did in your response to me on Google). If you would've called me back or responded to my emails - had a conversion about any of this you would have heard the truth. Review our invoice that states exactly what we said no to - upcharges your technician tried to sell us for exterior gates around the vents. This is exactly why your customer service is horrible. You as the owner weren't even respectful enough to respond and let me know hey this is what my technician told me but what actually happened? Again, absolutely horrible - all around hands down despicable service and an even more terrible leader who would rather hide behind a computer and lie on the internet than face the truth!

The technicians were professional and courteous and would deserve a high rating on their own. However, management did not provide sufficient time or resources for the job to be completed properly, which ultimately affected the outcome. On October 31, 2025, 2 Chicks and a Critter inspected my attic for squirrels. I (a 73 year old, retired VET) was initially quoted nearly $7,000 to seal entry points. Although the written contract offered no guarantee, I accepted a reduced price of just under $4,000 based on a verbal assurance/guarantee from one of the owners (JJ) that the company would stand behind its work. The job was not completed correctly. Roof penetrations were made with questionable sealing/repair, and squirrels remained in the attic weeks later. A follow-up inspection revealed one entry point had not been sealed properly, and even after it was repaired, squirrel activity continued. Despite providing video evidence and repeated attempts to contact the company by phone and emails, I received no response. The issue remains unresolved as of January 26, 2026, and I no longer trust the quality of the work, or the company's follow-through.

I am always hesitant to negatively review small businesses; this one left me no options…read more First called them on May 16, when another pest company recommended them; they said they'd come on Monday. Mark showed up at the appointed time, inspected the attic and found many raccoon paw prints but could not find any potential opening places. When I climbed into the attic I immediately saw a large opening at the dryer vent and pointed it out to him. "Oh, yeah, thats probably where the raccoon left by." He said he would send a proposal for securing the area and sanitizing as needed. Then it was not until May 24 when a proposal was finally sent: that day I immediately asked a few simple questions and asked when they could schedule the work. Then total silence; to this day never heard from company again. (And, btw, after I tried to secure the roof vent opening, it became clear that the raccoon had either returned, or ripped off the vent cover to escape.) So Im happy to read that others had a good experience with this company; I did not. IF time is of the essence (and a raccoon in your attic likely is) you might want to consider other companies for this task!
