Justin called me back on the day when I put in a service request via their website. While I had to wait a bit that day to get a response (this is not a big firm with lots of sales agents and so forth), I spoke with Justin (an exterminator) himself. I didn't have to waste my time speaking to some sales agent. Just asked me to send some pictures of the bees. He immediately told me they were not carpenter bees, which do not sting, but hornets which do! He came the next day to take a look around and recommended taping up the hole in the drywall. This solved the immediate problem of hundreds of bees getting into the attic. Despite Monday being a holiday, he said he was available. After two weeks of mystery, we called Orkin to get a professional to inspect our home. We called the 1-800 number on the website, and the inspection cost $99. (Should have called their office directly) Ray, (the inspector), came out the same day to inspect our home and was very honest from the beginning stating he did not see any signs of the bed bugs. He continued to inspect ours rooms while telling us what signs he was looking for. He also provided suggestions of what else could be causing the bites such as chiggers, which were common in our area, and carpet beetles. He advised how to get rid of the pests ourselves (steam vac, frequent vacuuming, especially the edges of our rooms, and recommended a product that we could use at home). He provided his contact information and told us we can reach out to him with any questions. Also if we continued to get bites, to give him a call and he'll bring another inspector with him for a second opinion (free of charge). A day later, we found a bug on our bed that looked like a carpet beetle. We sent him a picture via email that evening (around 10:30pm) and he responded early the next morning. My husband sent him a few more questions and he responded within minutes. We really appreciate the advice he provided and how quickly he responded!
