I was very pleased with this company. I reached out the day after Thanksgiving due to mice coming in my basement and they were there the very next morning. BJ explained how he found the entry point and sealed it up. He did it very quickly too. I had another exterminator come out twice and he could not find the entry point, but Lane did in less than 30 minutes. This company is super experienced and communicative. BJ also explained how my insulation was really old and could possibly attract rodents so within 3 days he was back and removed and disposed the old insulation and installed the new one. He cleaned up, swept, even moved some of my boxes out of the way. I genuinely hope to never have to see BJ again, lol, but if an issue arises, Lane is the first company I will call. I have had an excellent experience with Lane's Termite Pest. I moved into a home that had some previous termite issues and I continued an existing contract the prior owner had with Terminix. Terminix was really difficult to communicate with and repeatedly missed appointments, so I looked elsewhere for termite protection and was glad I did. Lane's is an established family-run business and I can see why they have great reviews. I received a thorough inspection with helpful advice and options. There was no high-pressure sales tactics or anything like that - just friendly and helpful information and services offered. I ended up going with a liquid termiticide applied to the soil (called a "trenching and treating" method) as a protective barrier around the home along with keeping the baiting/monitoring traps that already were installed around my house. It was easy to schedule an appointment and their team worked quickly and effectively to protect our entire home. They will come back each year to see how things are and they also offer services for other pests issues that may arise. I normally don't write reviews; however my experience with Lane's was such a success, I had to share. I discovered not just one but a few pesky visitors in my apartment. After one night when the mouse literally walked off the glue trap, I was at my wits end! Frantically looking for a pest control service that would effectively rid me of my problem, I found Lane's termite I contacted Lane's Monday evening and received a phone call first thing Tuesday morning informing me that the service man was on the way and could even arrive earlier than the 9:30 AM scheduled appointment (Which was a relief as I wanted this resolved ASAP!) Five stars for the initial prompt response (almost immediately) Five stars for the professional service. The rep, BJ, was polite and respectful in my home. He was an absolute Godsend! Very down to earth and Took genuine care and pride in his work. He is very knowledgeable about his craft. With efficiency he treated my unit with various traps... Found the source of entry for the critters and promptly plugged it. Upon completion of service he advise me to contact him if I had any further problems with said critters. I kept that in mind... Five stars for follow up!!! Tuesday evening I return home from work to discover several critters caught in a trap! Without hesitation I sent message to lanes that night although it was super late, and woke up to a message that service man BJ was in route. He arrived and promptly removed the critters. Based on recommendation of my old realtor, I called Lanes for crisis management. I woke up to discover what I thought were mice droppings. I found this business searching on Google and I decided to reach out because they had positive reviews. I am really happy that I made that choice because these guys were really professional, knowledgable and were straight forward. My family recently moved to our home from an apartment community who did not manage their pests and we came into our home with, what we suspected, its own pest problem. With those powers combined made for a nerve wrecking roach problem. I, like most people, despise roaches. I was anxious everyday about these demons crawling everywhere. We tried several means of controlling them, but these persistent pests were not giving up the ghost that easily. So, I made the decision to get professionals involved. We got our home fumigated and had the baseboards and voids sprayed. Holy mother of Jesus, the crawling demons have decreased 95%. Like, I don't wake up to these demons crawling on my stove and appliances anymore. I could cry from the relief I feel in the past week since service was done. I will have them come back out for a 2nd service to get any left over pests that remain, but damnit the service is worth every penny. I knew I didn't want to choose a company that hassled me to death about committing to a contract. Being pressured into committing into a service irritates me. On 4/14 we noticed an infestation of termites in one our rooms downstairs. I went on Google to look for a company close to us and open considering the pandemic is going on and Lane Termite/Pest Inc popped up immediately. I called and spoke with a very nice lady who stated that a tech was near by and could come out soon. Well within less than 20 minutes a tech by the name of BJ came out. He came in with all the protective gear and shoe covers on and went right to look at our problem. Before he told us what issue we were looking at he educated us on what type of termite we had and what stage it was in, who knew that there were stages.. LOL! Along with that he gave us history on his family owned company which I liked. He told us what he was going to do and went straight to work. He also gave us the full treatment plan of what we needed. He completed the treatment of the infestation in the room by installing foam behind the studs and sealing it off. The very next day on 4/15 him and his crew arrived early to complete the full treatment plan. They needed access to the garage to start working. We didn't have to rearrange anything they did all that for us which was awesome, and they put things back neatly. Within 2 hours everything was done. To top it off they did a treatment inside the house and basement. I must say that I am a very picky person but I would HIGHLY recommend this company for this service to anyone. BJ was very informative when it came to inspecting what might be or have been in my attic. I was given immediate service and his staff are very friendly and have a sense of humor all while continuing to get the job done. Not only did they set traps for in my attic and around my house for possible raccoons, they constantly checked in to see if I heard anything. BJ and his team also provided me with information about what may have caused the raccoons to get in my attic and how to resolve the issue. I am a person that only shops or spends money based on referrals and testimonies. One day my coworker was telling me she had a friend that was an exterminator and he goes to her church and he is really good. Since I had little critters in my house I decided to call him for a consultation and appointment. I was so happy to talk to Mr. Lane. He was extremely pleasant about my embarassing situation and assured me that everything would be ok. I originally scheduled my appt for a Saturday but on Monday evening after an embarassing close call (the mouse showed up while we had company) I decided I couldn't hold out until the weekend. I immediately called Mr. Lane and he adjusted his schedule to have his team come out the next evening. The next evening the team arrived on time and to my surprise when I walked in the house their was a dead critter on my daughter's bedroom floor. Needless to say we waited outside for them to dispose of him. The team was very friendly and patient with me. They understood that I was deathly afraid of mice and not once did they make fun of me. They did a thorough inspection of my house, laid down plenty of bait and even cleaned up mouse poop and wiped the counter with bleach. Mr. Lane dropped by to say hi and make sure I was ok and that put me over the edge. I was so excited and honored that the owner of the company came by to check on me and put my mind at ease. After he gave his approval of their work everyone left and I was asured that within 3 days I wouldn't have any more problems.
