Pros: Spacious, well stocked: This CVS is well organized, large and spacious. It is extra cool in the summer-- the AC is blasting, and upbeat music is always playing! Friendly employees: The employees here are friendly and helpful-- they will greet you as you enter, and assist with any questions that you have. You never have to wait too long in line here-- between the friendly employees and self-checkout, it always is an efficient experience. Conveniently located: The CVS is conveniently located off of Indian School Road, very close to old town scottsdale, making it walkable. There is also lots of parking outside of the CVS. Good selection of beauty products: This CVS carries a good selection of beatuty products-- shampoos, nail products, and makeup-- I always find the beauty product that I am looking for...and even some I am not looking for Cute seasonal products: Lots of cute seasonal products at this CVS-- you can even see some in the picture that I posted! If people are complaining it is because they are complainers. Every so often there is a clerk that is a bit clueless or new, but that is the same thing that happens at Doctors offices. You get a great doctor, but front staff is inexperienced or vice versa. That is life everywhere.

Although they were out of stock, they explained that their usual supplier no longer carries the product and offered to order it from a new provider. That level of effort and transparency was exactly what I needed. Because of this, I've transferred all my prescriptions to the E McDowell location. They even call to notify you if a prescription will be delayed--something the previous location never did. Their professionalism and customer care are a breath of fresh air. I couldn't stop watching as he chatted with customer after customer as if each of them was a neighbor of his. I didn't wait too long before someone came over to help me at the photo counter. He didn't ask me what I needed or for my name even. He asked me if I brought him lunch, I laughed and told him I had not. He shook his head and said he knew I'd forget and handed me my photos. He must have recognized me from my selfies. I shopped around a bit and found everything I needed and then checked out. Kirk has been the cashier I've had every time I've come in. He made conversation with me, like I watched him do with the other customers. Kirk really makes every customer feel like they matter to him. I messed up my pin *twice* because I'm spastic but he was patient. He and I joked about how I must not be so good with the numbers. I will take off a star for my rating because some of my pictures were cropped in a way that took some heads off and I was super disappointed about that. I have gotten texts from WAG and showed up and been told they don't have any scripts ready, just to stand there and argue for 5 minutes just for them to.... MAGICALLY FIND IT AGAIN... At the end of the day this is one of the most important service industries... if you want to worry about your health, or your scripts not getting filled, or to deal with the rudest people on earth, you'll love this Walgreens pharmacy but if you want to deal with regular pharmacists and have a stress free pharmacy experience I would recommend you go to literally any other pharmacy on earth. Every now and then, I will stop by here out of convenience on the way to or from work. I have interacted with the staff, purchased random items, and browsed the shelves over the years. I do appreciate the MinuteClinic at this store and have used it a few times in the past. Tonight, I stopped by to use a coupon, and while I found plenty of an item, the price on the shelf was incorrect as there was also a promotion going on, but as I have noticed previously, the shelves have been missing the promotion price on them. The store is sometimes a bit messy and sometimes very clean. It really depends on the day I stop by. There are seasonal items a few rows in from the entrance though sometimes they extend further to the left side of the store (further away from the entrance). While staffing seems to be quite minimal at this store (or so it seems), the staff have been helpful when I have asked for assistance. If there is someone near the front of the store, they have often said hello when I have entered the store. Sometimes they are stocking items on the aisles until someone is ready to check out. Sometimes there is a wait for someone to come and assist at checkout if you aren't using the self-checkout machines. The staff have always been knowledgeable based on items in stock. I have had issues using some of the coupons before, but it really depends on the cashier. I encourage everyone to sign up for ExtraCare, which is a free membership and includes sales prices, deals for you, 2% back in ExtraBucks rewards, a $3 birthday reward, and up to $50 in ExtraBucks rewards at the pharmacy. I had just left the sinus and allergy clinic and was prescribed some medication. Doctor sent the order electronically to this pharmacy and once I pulled up to the window, the employee assisted me in under 3 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that the prescription had already been filled. It was bagged up and sitting in a basket waiting for me. I gave the employee my full name and DOB and she pulled up my info. I was back on the road in under 5 minutes total. The best part was my $.90 co-pay, lol!! I highly recommend this pharmacy if you're looking to get in and out quick.
