These lazy kids in this video are bold. My dog and I almost died from infection and sepsis (CVS can confirm that with the amount of antibiotics and things we've bought recently), and they CLOSED EARLY, watching me knock on the door at 9:45, and stand there patiently waiting while desperately needing supplies to clean her surgical wound and for myself. They laughed, pretended they would open the door and completely ignored me until I waited for them to leave the front door BEFORE 10pm. They bought things for themselves at the register to add to it. I watched the kid in the blue debate opening the door and the other kid say no and then sit on his phone. I'm extremely disappointed in CVS and their employees and I will NOT let this one go. read more

A pretty typical CVS store, large food, beverage, soda, and grocery section and many from seasonal summer items sunblock and travel size type lotions and amenities. Easy self checkout if you do not have any alcohol if you do have alcohol, then there's typically a line for a live person to check you out. Nice merchandise, especially summer seasonal items. read more

The interaction I had with this location is by far the worst I've ever experienced! From the moment I called I knew it was going to be unpleasant. Staff is extremely rude. I was in there on Easter April 20th, 2025 approximately, 12pm. I needed help at the register for a coupon, the manager (I believe her name was Jessica) ignored me as she stocked. Never came to help me even after I asked. I really needed the Easter stuff that I had questions on. The girls at the self check out next to me didn't even bother to wait for her to help them. They just walked out without paying. They are extremely rude. Save yourself the headache and go to walgreens down the street. read more

The best thing about this CVS is the location right on N. Scottsdale between McDonald and Ljncoln in a large shopping center cluster. The main negative for me is they didn't have a money gram computer to pickup a wire. read more

I had my prescriptions sent here specifically to use the drive thru and was disappointed to see it closed (as I now see others have reported). So, if you plan to use the drive thru make sure to call first to see if it's open. I know a lot of places are struggling with staffing issues right now and I hope management open the drive thru ASAP. Of note, I've found the CVS location at 10010 N Scottsdale Rd (E Gold Dust Ave) has been open recently. I do like the self checkout registers at this location! read more

After reading other reviewers of this same location - CVS - you have a problem. Like others - I wish I could give ZERO stars. Saturday, June 26 - 7:36pm - Donna was the angry cashier I was in town visiting and walked to this location as it was down the street from my hotel. As I walked in, I headed to the bottled water on the shelf, grabbed a gallon of water, then around the corner to the beverage cooler. As I was deciding what to get I noticed the female store employee (Donna) on my heels - watching me. Silently wondered why and thought it was weird on her part. Ready to check out, I placed my items on 1 of the counters - no one was behind the counter because both employees were discussing a customer who was in just before me, who apparently did not pay for their purchase. Donna went to another counter to check me out, I moved my items over, and she continued to gripe to the other employee about the previous thief. She reached for the 1 item closest to her, then continued to ask me to pass items to her and turn them, etc. Her attitude was pretty crappy, and she was taking her bad customer service attitude from the previous customer out on me. And I called her on it. I told her whatever took place prior to me had nothing to do with me. She then had a side bar conversation with the other employee telling him what I said, as if I were not standing there. She continued this behavior until my purchase was complete. When the receipt printed out - she actually attempted to tear off pertinent information - including her name - before I grabbed the receipt from her. As I turned to leave she fired off a last snotty comment, and I turned and told her I did not appreciate her crappy attitude and whatever had happened prior to me entering the store had nothing to do with me, but she was making sure it did. The 2nd employee was not much better. Sounds like CVS need to overhaul this entire group of employees. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - SCOTTSDALE, Arizona

Every interaction with this pharmacy is negative. They ignore questions when you're standing in front of them, or think you don't know much about your prescriptions to lie to you and tell you a day or two later than the due date that it can filled. When you call them out the response is 'ok, then call back on that day' . Most recently I was told they couldn't find a pre ordered prescription on the last month of that order.They push most refills till the weekdays when it is most inconvenient for most and they are already out of their medication as it is. There is not a specific person as it has been my experience with at least 4 separate individuals. I did email a complaint in as well in hopes it at least reminds them they have an ethical responsibility to patients at this location. read more

It's easier to get a driver license at the DMV than a prescription filled at this CVS. There is always a line and the drive-thru is never open. Phoned-in prescriptions from the previous day are never ready. I would ask my doctor for anxiety medication but I'm not willing to come back and wait an hour in line. Came here to get a COVID-19 test over the weekend and here's my experience: *It's completely free/covered by insurance *Booking the appt online was super easy/fast *They sent loads of reminders + info before my appointment *My appointment time was 3:10p and when I arrived there were 6 cars in front of me which didn't seem bad... until I realized each car took an average of 10 minutes at the window, therefore, my wait time was one hour. *As I waited in line, I watched the video that they sent over to "prepare" and realized that I was to perform this test to myself with the materials that they provide at the window. This definitely made me nervous because I am a bit of a baby when it comes to pain and I was worried that I wouldn't stick the swab in far enough. *I wish there was a professional healthcare worker there to perform the test for me to ensure accuracy. *I received my results in under 48 hours and they were negative. I appreciated the quick turnaround being that it was not a rapid test. *That said, I am going to get tested again at another site in fear that there may have been user error on my part and I didn't perform the test right or insert the swab deep enough. All in all, it was not the best testing experience and I don't feel confident in my results. That said, the lady working the Pharmacy window was SUPER friendly and felt so badly about the wait time. I felt for her as I know people were not the friendliest about this! Although free at your local CVS, I'd go somewhere else to get tested. read more

At least the corner drug dealer is friendly and asks how your day is going. The staff here are so annoyed with your very existence that there shocked you even have the pride to show up. You're better off just searching WebMD for how to make homemade prescription drugs than trying to go here. If hell had a hell it would be this CVS Pharmacy. I've used this CVS location for over 8 years for my general pharmacy & prescription needs. Agreed, a few years ago the service was less than stellar. However, it seems this has improved. The worst! Will NOT return. My regular pharmacy did not have my script, so sent me to this location for same day pick up. From the second I walked in (passing a guy with a barf bag who was walking out), I knew it was going to be bad. I was the only person in line at pharmacy, however the three pharmacists/techs didn't look up at me for EIGHT minutes. Two of them were handling the drive thru line, while the third was on the phone. I considered getting in my car and driving thru just so I could get some attention. Finally, an employee came over and quickly told me my prescription wasn't ready (even tho it was an hour later than the "promised time"). I didn't have any more time to waste, so I told him I'd wait since it was already past time. They thankfully filled my script, as the line of people started to grow behind me. None the the three employees were kind, asked if I needed instructions for meds, or said hello or goodbye. For such a beautiful location, this store/pharmacy is lacking and I will not return. read more

Understaffed and poorly managed. Their manager David was totally unhelpful. I booked a Covid test yesterday for urgent travel tomorrow. They said they were not doing the tests today when I got there... unbelievable. They didn't give me any notice that they weren't doing them. I asked David to help me get into a different CVS for a test because I have to travel tomorrow, he said he couldn't help and didn't care at all. It's almost like this is a Circle K with carpet. It's dirty, disorganized. But I digress because my complaint is about the pharmacy. For 2 days I've been trying to get ahold of the pharmacy to see if there are any scrips to pick up for my elderly mother. To summarize, I was number 4 in line inside. 1 in line at the drive through, and 6 calls on hold. And I know how many calls on hold because their phone announces it. Grossly understaffed. If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst pharmacy. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be. Everyone clearly hates their job and takes it out on customers. To quote one of the pharmacy techs as I was picking up a prescription "ugh, I hate my coworkers. They never put anything in the right place." She said that after I had been standing there for 10 minutes waiting for her to find my prescriptions. I just sat in the drive thru for 20 mins. I never write reviews but this one is necessary! Everyone at the pharmacy at this CVS is extremely rude! I have had the worst experiences. The only reason I go here is because Walgreens doesn't take my insurance. Yesterday they lost my prescription. They could care less. They never once apologized and I asked for a follow up call and didn't get one. It was as if I was inconveniencing them! The only nice guy is Damon. Wish I could leave a 0. The female pharmacist yells at people like bad children when *she doesn't do her job.* 0/10 would recommend. The way she behaves on the clock is unacceptable, even when people are being polite to her. And this is IF you can even get through to speak with someone- usually they just let you rot on hold forever. If you go thru the reviews, apparently she's been treating customers like trash for a year or more now & CVS just does nothing about it. There are too many other good pharmacy options in the area to put up with her behavior. They don't even fill scripts in a reasonable timeframe. I've worked service & I understand the stress that can be involved, but I will not be mentally abused by someone not even doing their job. Go anywhere else. This place is not worth the headache & how bad they try to make you feel for expecting them to perform their basic job tasks. I called them the minute they opened this morning, figuring their wouldn't be a rush at that time. I don't get it how they're able to stay in business. I usually get all prescriptions from Walgreens but they were out of what I needed so I had it transferred to this CVS. The woman at the pharmacy window was incredibly short with me and just rude. She told me I couldn't stay at the window ( there was nobody waiting behind me) because she needed to reprocess the order if I wanted to use GoodRx discount code. I ended up paying the full 200 just because I couldn't stand the thought of having to go inside and deal with her as she reprocessed the order. Never again. Walgreens forever. read more

I go for a flu shot at CVS to be greeted by a pharmacist that is sick and coughing and tells me she can't administer the flu shot because she is too sick. That's it for this pharmacy. Shame on the pharmacist (who is also the pharmacy manager) to be at work when she is visibly sick. read more

This is the worst pharmacist & pharmacy. Every time I would order my prescription (usually days in advance) I would go to pick up & it was never ready. The excuse was always we are very busy. But worse than that is the condescending tone & attitude of the pharmacist & the entire staff. They even complain to other customers about the person who just left the line. No time management, no compassion very arrogant pharmacist women & lack the skills to interact with people who obviously are at pharmacy to be helped, not mocked I even witnessed a man cry as his wife was in allot of pain but the lady pharmacist told him he would have to wait. Meanwhile the line of cars outside to go thru drive thru was 10 cars. The helper kept saying she needed to go on her break. While the pharmacist stopped everything to pet a dog & talk about her dog... then leave the pharmacy to smoke in the middle of a huge line & people who needed help. Ouch I switched to Walgreens across street & they are great . Please CVS management take care of your staff issues & treat customers with the respect they deserve. read more

We came in today - Scottsdale Road at McDonald Drive - to use a coupon for 40% that was expiring - the computer was down We could not use it or credit cards - we bought about $35 worth of items with cash - but NOT until we realized nobody told us that sale items do not ring as sale with no computer - I was in the car reading the receipt that had NO info on it for descriptions and realized we had been over charged I went back to the store and complained and was told that no sale pricing if no computer - the check out expected the greeter to tell us - neither of them did and we could have paid over $8 more for our items or $41 vs $33 and that is a lot of difference! Almost 30% I had to ask for the cash back and then was even told I could get CVS bucks - whatever that is - which was crazy since 5 minutes before I had just given her $41 of my cash! And then she took time to figure out what she owed me and still made a mistake - I caught it and finally got the money I do not remember an apology just a suggestion we try another store for the other items - are you kidding me? It was 5:00 pm, we had been in the store twice in 105 degrees and had to ask more than once for our money - very bad service - we should have been told at the door what the deal was on the cash and the sale prices - how many people were overcharged? Why not just do it right for everybody? This pharmacy has shown nothing but gross incompetence for the past 9 months! We have not received pre-paid, life-saving prescriptions that are on automatic reorder, in a timely manner (meaning before running out of meds). We have either been lied to by pharmacy staff or this pharmacy is such a managerial disaster that no one knows what each other is doing and, quite frankly, no one seems to care. This CVS pharmacy location is in dire need of serious scrutiny by CVS Corporate before these incompetent fools become the reason that their customers wind up in the ER or dying. There are other CVS pharmacies that are highly competent and professional, but this location, 6045 North Scottsdale, Rd, in Scottsdale, Arizona, is NOT one of those competent and professional pharmacy locations. read more

Had an employee standing next to the self serve checkout watching people checkout NO ONE at the register. When I asked the employee why no one was at the register he kept replying "these are the registers" when i finally said i understand that but why is the consumers checking themselves out and bagging. He then said this is how it is and people just want a fair wage. Wow. So he literally stands there all day and says everyone wants a fair wage. Lol read more

The pharmacy is beyond understaffed and they need to handle it. The drive thru is closed and I came here yesterday and the pharmacy was just completely closed. I am in line and there are about 10 people waiting here. They filled a prescription completely wrong, my doctors office confirmed it. Currently waiting on the phone trying to get through to the pharmacy. They will literally pick up and hang up and I have to start the process over. I hate every division of CVS... I've had problems with the pharmacy, Caremark, and Specialty. It seems that now they are more interested in being sales people... they offer every customer a covid test, flu shot, and whole plethora of other vaccines. I spoke with a manager about pictures i got developed, he insisted i did not pick them up, so for the next two weeks i received phone calls everyday about the pictures i had in my possession when i called he said there's nothing he can do about the calls.
