There are two Circle Ks merely a half block apart. The other is old and doesn't have gas pumps. This location is relatively new (last 18 months) and replaced an old one on this corner with a mega gas station and convenience store. I am not a fan of the gas price setting Circle K's market share of gas stations in the Valley. However, this specific location is their new large format gas station and as the result is clean inside and around the property. They usually have squeegees at the pumps, but the windshield washing solution reservoir is usually almost empty. They have a fairly large beer/seltzer selection in their walk in cooler. They have a mix of Circle K branded products ranging from candy to beef jerky I enjoy their Mountain Mix of nuts and chocolate. Their coffee is ok. I usually only get a fountain soda. If you have the Circle K app, there are frequent deals, like buy 10 foundation drinks and get one free or $2 credit on select holidays (most recent was tax day 4/15) and your birthday. Employees are friendly, but there is usually a short line at the checkout due to the popular location in Old Town Scottsdale. read more

So the worker that was working there on Friday, April 11 at 2:45 AM went there. He was hanging out with his friends out front thinking that he's having the best time of his life told me that the store is closed. Told other people that as well, however it looked like the store was pretty open and he was just hanging out with the doors open and people in their cars hanging out with them. Not a very good way to run a business that's in the heart of old town Scottsdale where you can make a lot of money. He's just turning away customers dude should get fired. Worst Circle K I have ever visited! Total pit! Dirty everywhere. Went at 10:00 am and all the trash was over flowing by the pumps, trash scattered everywhere. Had to go inside to get my gas receipt and the clerk was unwelcoming. I would be afraid to even enter the bathroom. Definitely need a clean up, power wash the sidewalks, everything!! The woman that is currently working at this location (I believe her name is Lisa) was rude and disrespectful to everyone in the store. She lost about 6 customers all at once because she refused to sell an African American man a mask because he was trying to abide by the rules. Absolutely disgusting behavior in a time like this. My friends and I were visiting from California and were unaware of any liquor laws pertaining to having a vertical drivers license. When I tell you the man working the register was so RUDE and start roasting me into oblivion, basically telling me I'm an idiot for not having a valid ID. Mind you I'm 23 years old and the LAW OF ARIZONA states that you can buy alcohol with a vertical out of state ID. What can I say about Circle K? Well, first of all, no gas here. Secondly, it is the same as any other Circle K - ice, booze, gum, and soda. I normally go to QT but unfortunately my brother's car was towed while partying in Scottsdale so we had to walk to the nearest ATM, which was at Circle K. We were out and about on a Sunday afternoon and found ourselves wanting something to drink, so we stopped at this Circle K to get bottles of water. I have to say it gets 5 stars for their wine cellar they have with a good assortment of the wines we like to drink, but at about $2.00 more a bottle than you would pay at grocery store, but as it is a convenience store, you are paying for that convenience. The cashiers were super friendly and would give them 5 stars. Why the 2 stars? Store was really dirty, it was wet over by where you get the fountain drinks, pieces of paper or wrappers around various parts of the store. Also, the drinks weren't super stocked. Do NOT go here! Employees are NOT wearing masks!! Last night at 10:30pm I made a quick stop on my way home. I forgot to put my mask on before walking in. I'm still getting used to putting it on and was in rush as it was so late, so it honestly slipped my mind. When I walked in, the cashier who was NOT wearing a mask said I needed one. So I grabbed mine from the car. When I walked back in with it on, he had one on and I said now we both have ours on. He told me that he is not required to wear a mask and took his off again and checked me out without his mask! I'm not sure why that would upset him but I'm never going here again. There is so much people traffic in and out here. Btw two other people behind me tried to walk in without a mask. Employees need to be patient and not be so rude about this. Worst Cirkle K of them all. Restrooms are consistently out of order. When I tried to buy pour over iced coffee, all FOUR or them were out. When I told the clerk, he mumbled some comment and was very unpleasant. I was there 6/7/22 around 11:30pm. I probably won't come back. I am a ride share driver and unfortunately, this is the most convenient location to DT Scottsdale but I will now drive out of the way to give my consistent money in gas/snacks to another location because I have had enough disappointments. They really need to retrain their clerks on customer service and keep their store appropriately stocked with at least ONE option of a product. I understand supply shortages right now but plan ahead so that SOMETHING is in stock or at least kindly acknowledge when a customer makes you aware of a product need ring to be restocked. They apparently dont mind making a line of customers wait while another buys a slue of random lottery tickets taking their time and of course there is no other workers in the building during rush hour no less. I guess I could write a review for Circle K. This is usually my local liquor store. I buy all my pre-party booze and beer here. It's fairly cheap. The people that manage this store are always friendly and helpful. They know their liquor selection...always a big plus. And they run specials on certain brands from time to time, but then again...don't most liquor stores? I have a water cooler at my house, and use their water machine to refill my water bottles. It's the cheapest in the area--$1.00 for 5 Gallons. Score. Hmm. I wish I had more to say. Lamest review ever? Possibly. Oh well. Deal with it. Hopefully you will FUC it. :) read more

On vacation across the street and have spent about $120 in this store in the last 4 days as it was very convenient. Went today and bought a large coffee and a large drink and asked if I could have $3 of my change in quarters to do laundry and cashier said no. I could only get $1 worth. I went here, for the first time, 01:50 April 24, hoping to pick up a small bottle, before the 2am curfew. Before I head in, i head, "f* you, @$$hole!" And a customer leaves. I proceed in, and I am greated by the worker. I then tell him, "I'm looking for a cheap, small bottle." He responds, before I even finish, and says, "we're not selling." I then respond, "it's 01:55" and he repeats, and makes zero eye contact with me. I don't know what the deal was with that guy, not selling, before the cut off, but I've never dealt with that before. I'm really disgusted at my near be circle K. They don't require people to wear mask. They don't wrap the donuts. The girl at my location was going to let the guy who wasn't wearing a mask put back a donut fron were he got. I had to say something. This Circle K recently had a renovation to the exterior. It didn't use to have pumps but now it has a few (maybe 7?). Which is great! They should have added more than 7 pumps because it's always so busy and in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale where there aren't many gas stations. OK, after reading Doctor J's review, I just HAD to check it out! I'm doing a temp job at Yelp's Scottsdale office, and this is not far from it. Of course, when I needed to find a store, I used Yelp! From the map, I thought the Circle K would be facing Camelback, but it actually faces Miller Rd. The "strip" mall is really a big "L" shape, and the dirt lot & Circle K are in the corner that's left over when the mall was built. I can see why it would look creepy ... it's an old location, and the bricks & tile are stained. They only get a certain amount each month for repairs, and "paint job" is included in that. So why four stars? It was CLEAN! There was only one employee working, but the place was spotless, even the fountain and hot dog areas. It looks like a few shelving units have been removed, so it might be getting ready for a major remodeling. If so, it should be much less creepy afterward! read more

Close to my house, go there to pay my electric bill and get coffee each morning. used to go for more because the employees WERE awesome, however, read below: I was buying cigs from the new manager (new as of about a couple months ago) and the customer behind me told me a cheaper place to purchase cigs down the street. this manager's tone was soo rude when he said, "are you trying to send my customers away?" the person said, "no, just saying where to get cheaper cigs. besides, one of your employees told me about it". then the manager said, "which employee? because I'll fire them. that is taking my customer's away." now, i understand the manager's need to keep customer's repeat business, but he could of handled it another way. starting with his tone and he could of chose different words to say. it was so uncomfortable because of the manager. i just paid and left without saying anything. this manager is not friendly & ever since he came aboard this circle k, I've seen the cheeriness of the employees go away. they still say good morning,etc, when walking in the door, but the warm, friendly, "small-town" feeling is gone. the tension is hanging in the air, especially when he is there. it's so sad to see that go away, even sadder that a manager is not motivating employees to make the environment comfortable for customers. finding that warm, inviting, small-town feeling is so very rare living in a big city like Scottsdale. read more

Unfortunately, I wish I could not give any stars. I go to the Circle K on Miller & Camelback. Place looks fairly clean, but TERRIBLE customer service, the employees are always frowning and never look happy. They also have a habit of not welcoming you in the doorway nor do they say "Have a nice day." I have never seen them out on the floor doing anything, they just sit behind the counter moping and looking miserable. There is also a girl there who took my ID and would NOT stop asking how old I was! I was so irritated by her ignorance. Unfortunately it's the closest Circle K I can go to get things considering I have no vehicle. Seriously, get some new employees! I hate going there!! read more

So I recently moved into the area and I gotta say this is one of the worst Circle K's going. Sometimes I'm running late to work and need to stop for a little coffee and a donut or pastry well I would never get a donut here. They are covered in flys! Absolutely disgusting and its every time I go in and today the only "normal" coffee not flavored was out. Plus the flavored creamer is always out and if I ask them to fill it I get an eye roll or a I'm ruining your day type of feeling and like I was saying customer service is mediocre at very very best. So I hope corporate sees this or if this is a franchise store you need to step your game up because your location is prime and I'm sure you pay good money for it but I've seen circle K's in the ghetto I'd rather go to! read more

I occasionally indulge my sugar cravings with a super giant Polar Pop Slushie. Therefore I am a fan of Circle K. To me an awesome Circle K has at least 6 slush flavor options to choose from and at least 2 caffine free options. From the outside and odd location, this place doesn't look like much. However, it surprised my by being so clean and very well organized. The soda fountain area had tons of choices and was spotless. The two employees there at the time seemed happy to be there and were friendly too. Since it is a bit colder now, I will have to return to check out their coffee/cocoa station. read more
