Surprised since it's super busy but they all made time to speak and treat one respectfully I don't think I've ever gone to one that was this busy but it was still organized and clean. All employees are required to wear a face covering-NOT A MASK. So it is kind of sad to see the gaiters and whatnot being used even though evidence exists that show they are less effective than a pleated mask. A cashier employee found the time to leave his post, enter the kitchen, remove his mask while food was being prepared only to sweep and check backstock(potentially infecting everything.) This Quick Trip, by FAR is my favorite QT.. Right on the Corner of Highland and 16th Street! The inside of this store is always bright and clean, the help here is SUPER FAST!! The pumps always work and the window wash stuff is always full of liquid and paper towels. I think there is a sense of pride at this QT that sets it apart from the pack! The only thing about the place that I'm not a fan of... is the fact the Phoenix Police set up their DUI van and satellite arrest area in the far end of their parking lot on Thursday through Saturday nights... read more

I come to this QT location in the mornings before work to get whatever it is I may need before work. This location, like other QT's, seems to be quite busy! lots and lots of traffic in and out of here at any given time of the day. The service here is really quick, so your in and out in no time. Staff is friendly and efficient, and location is almost always in good clean condition. Competitive prices on gas, they have decent coffee and muffins that are quite tasty and much cheaper then most other places around. They also have a lot of gas pumps and parking spaces, so you'll never really have to wait to get gas or get in and out of this location. The only downside is that people here don't drive well in the parking lot. You really have to pay extra special attention, as I've almost gotten hit a few times while stopping here in the mornings. Other then that, its one of the better gas stations in the valley when it comes to fast and friendly service, along with competitive prices for most stuff. read more

Every step was echoed with the sound of pulling your shoe/foot up off of the floor. It was almost as if they had mopped the area with fountain soda and left it to dry. Just gross. When the pumps are full of cars, it's hard to maneuver in and around the parking lot. The store looks a bit short on supplies, but then again I just went inside to pay. I usually hit this Quik Trip when I'm in Phoenix and need an icy beverage on a 120 degree day. I love their soda fountain because they have different types of ice cubes (crushed, big cubes, etc) and a great selection of sodas made with filtered water. They also have a self-serve milkshake machine and lots of flavored coffee options if you are into that sort of thing. The selection of snacks is good but it's the drink varieties that keep me coming back for more. Decent gas prices too. read more

The name of the place pretty much says it all: It's a Quick Trip. I heart QTs and pass a few stations just to come to this one. You can pretty much grab everything you need here. I am addicted to the drink stations during the summer months.....slushies, flavored sodas, ice coffees, milk shakes, oh my! There are lots of pumps. LOTS. Even during peak hours, I've never had to wait. Getting in and out of the lot can be tricky when it's busy though. I recommend using the Highland entrance/exit, versus the 16th street side. read more

This was my first time here and I didn't know it was a Quick Trip! I remember this used to be a Chevron a few years back. I desperately needed gas and this was the closet place at the time. It was easy to get in and out. I didn't go inside, but the place seemed busy. It was 8pm at night and there were plenty of people filling up on gas and entering the store for goods. That men's restroom is sooooo PISSY and NASTY!!! I'm gagging as I reminisce on the bind I was in when I went in to drain the lizard! After which, I get the 34oz soda and have to wait 6 minutes to check out because there is only ONE cashier assisting and he has lines on both sides of his register while the other two associates in the store find it more important to stock bananas and chips!!!! This review is for all Valley QT's. The stores are still generally clean ( the best in the valley ) as far as convience stores are concern plus they have clean restrooms ! However, every since QT first arrived in the valley the novelty is starting to wear off. They now have some of the highest fountain drink prices, gas prices are generally 5-10 cents higher than the competitors and the employees are not as friendly as they used to be. They are not rude just not as friendly as they used to be. In this economy, I give my business to those who offer great deals. .79 cents for a 32oz soda in a plastic cup and or .89 cents for a 32oz styrofoam cup fountain drinks is not going to cut it when I can get a 44oz .79 cent styrofoam cup at Circle K. At QT a 44oz fountain drink now cost I believe a $1.09. Here's the low down. I usually go to convience stores for a quick drink and a bite to eat, ie, hot dog. For a 44oz fountain drink and hot dog at Circle K $1.78 before taxes. QT $2.08 before taxes. That is a .30 cent difference but when you are buying for a family of four that extra .30 cents adds up quick. Don't get me wrong QT is still supreme when it comes to clean stores and employees but they are slowly but surely becoming more expensive than your local Circle K and 7-11 just to name a couple. Bottomline, I still go to QT but only every now and then. Circle K despite their filthy stores gets my business more frequently because they save me $$$. Too Each Their Own ! read more

Why review a gas station, you say?? If you have to ask yourself this question, you have clearly never experienced the pure bliss of the QT. I purchased my truck to 2005, and it has never had a tank of anything by QT gas in it unless I'm out of town. Prices run a couple cents cheaper than the other guys, and you get the added benefit of being able to partake of the beverage selection, which puts all other convenience stores to shame. There are few days of my life when I can't be found with a QT fountain cup in hand. Add to that the fact that the QT doesn't take on the faint odor of vagrancy that tends to plague other stores in Phoenix *cough* Circle K *cough*, and you have yourself a winner. Like any Gas Station at 530AM, its quite busy. What I like about QT is that the cashier can handle two guests at one time on each side of them. Is it just me or the hello when you walk in the door is annoying? Circle K started doing that to. I don't mind it if I happend to walk by an employee, but the shout from the register from sometimes 3 employees is a bit much. QT is now my perferred stop in the morning because of the 59 cent fountian drink. I mostly drink brewed teas. When I say brewed, I mean when you have to make the tea like your making coffee. No hoses from a mystery back area. QT offers 3 different flavors, Black Mango, Regular and Pineapple something...I always get the Black Mango. All three offer sweetened and unsweetened. read more

I like you Quick Trip. And I miss you. This location on 16th St and Highland was just one block from where I lived. It was easy to walk to. Pop in grab a few snacks and a drink. Back home in 15 mins. I love the fact that you've got nice ample places to park and space enough to gas up without feeling like your going to scratch or bump some body eles vehicle. Lots of space to manouver your vehicle and also easy if your on foot. Thank you also this QT. My friend and roommate would come to this QT almost daily for a couple of hot dogs and soda. And all the employees would help him out and we're always so helpful and friendly to him. Some he knew by their frist name. He had visual differences so it wasn't easy trying to fix his hot dog or getting his soda. And from seeing with my own eyes and from what he would tell me; you guys at this QT were just super. Thank you for being kind to my friend. He would navigate down Highland for a block to get to this QT. And most times did ok. But at times because of all of the construction going on he would some times get disconboberated, and lost. Getting himself to QT was a task and not always an easy one. So arriving there to be greeted and assisted with getting what he needed really made all the difference in the world. Thank You QT @ 16th and Highland. You guys are the best. I am beyond thankful and extremely impressed by the service here. Today's was my first time at a QT in a year as we have been overseas, so we are adjusting to the 108° weather in Phoenix. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old and the pump would not take my card due to the magnetic strip. So I had to take both girls out of the car and run inside to pre-pay. The gentleman at the register suggested $30 to fill my tank (we are in a rental) and then offered to bring the change out should it be more than the cost of the gas. To avoid bringing my girls back out of the car. I thanked him and did not expect him to actually have to come out, but the cost was only $25.60 and he immediately came out with my 4.40 change. Good location (on a corner), so easy to access. The coffee is kept up and full day or night, simple grocery items and the fuel prices are competitive. It is not a Full-Service Gas Station but they have Motor Oil and Radiator Fluid if your BMW or Jaguar is running low...lol and sometimes the pumps are out of order, so I give it four stars. Right around the corner from Duck and Decanter and a Starshmuck's. Access to Hwy 51 is two blocks off in distance. read more

For multiple times now I have had really bad experiences with the same person at this location. Always giving him another chance to change his attitude and customer service skills. His name is Abel and he is always VERY rude. Very inappropriate, sarcastic, and when I told him I would write a review about the bad customer service he always provides me he said "do it, I'm the manager and it's your word against mine. Plus this is a gas station you're not buying a house" if this is the kind of service I receive from the "manager" that is just sad. But obviously there is a reason why he is working at a gas station and not selling homes. I'll avoid this gas station from now on. read more

Ok, first off let me start by saying I LOVE QT! I'm an Uber driver and I go to quick trip several times a night. I love the ice tea and the employees are so friendly. I also get coffee quite often, because I drive from 6 pm till 6 am, on the weekends, and am usually in desperate need of caffeine. And then of course no matter where you are in the valley QT's always have the cleanest restrooms. This however was not the case here.... Before I get to the restroom situation, please heed this advice! DO NOT get iced tea at this location. (I am still hoping the other locations are safe, fingers crossed.) On my way to the restroom I noticed the empty ice tea dispensers on the ground outside the bathroom doors and they were disgusting! I don't know what was growing inside them, but it was fuzzy and white, with some black slime on the bottom. Not to mention what they were collecting from the constant opening and closing of the bathroom doors, the open trash can sitting next to them or the open closet containing cleaning supplies and the wet floor they were sitting on from the floor buffing thing. ( sorry for the ramble , but there was a lot going on there) Yuck! Now then, to the restroom. Warning if you have a weak stomach, read no further!..... There was vomit in the first stall and I had to help an elderly woman clean the seat, luckily I have a large bottle of hand sanitizer in my big purse, and QT generously provided the paper towels. So by some miracle we got it to the point where she was not in danger of falling in vomit, or sitting on it. The second stall , I am not exaggerating! Had blood on the floor, and the toilet seat, as well as what looked like blood clots in the toilet. There were bloody paper towels on, in and around the toilet, and I for a split second thought , maybe I could clean it enough to use it, but then came to my senses when I realized I would have to stand in the mess in front of the toilet to do so. No thank you. I patiently waited for the elderly woman to finish her business and used that stall. I then washed my hands in scalding hot water, after using my hand sanitizer to clean the faucet handles, then made a very quick exit! The horror show did not end upon my bathroom departure however. On my way out of the store the employee working had just pulled his finger out of his nose to use it to move hot dogs! What!!!? I felt like I was in the twilight zone! I'm not one to hop on yelp often, and I will continue frequent QT's elsewhere, but this is the 3rd time I've come to this location, and each time has been disappointing. This visit tops the cake though! I had to let you yelpers know this story. Especially regarding the iced tea . I have gotten ice tea here too! Yuck. And if anyone was wondering, I did look in the trash cans to make sure there wasn't a newborn baby in them. ( inside as well as outside) I know it's a dark thought, but that restroom stall made me think that was what happened. read more
