A 30th birthday lunch celebration for our small family at this newish restaurant…read more Excellent and knowledgeable service. Great, expansive menu (if you can't find something you like here, there's something wrong with you). Fantastic ice teas and beer selection. Tasty sandwiches and salads. Delectable desserts. The birthday boy was very happy. Everyone was happy. Looking forward to a return visit.

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

You place your order at the counter, & they bring it out to you. The girl behind the counter was friendly & sweet. She was also the person who brought our food to us. Hubby got the California BLT. I got the crispy chicken sandwich & made it a combo for hubby & I to share. For a side we got the onion rings. Hubby real liked his sandwich. The ice tea was really good as well. My chicken sandwich was good. We didn't like the onion rings very much. You get 4 large onion rings. The batter is thin. However, it was falling off the onion ring. The reason for only 4 stars is due to the price of the chicken sandwich. It was almost $17 for the sandwich alone. Plus a charge for the onion rings & an additional charge for the iced tea. I don't see us coming back here. There isn't one close to our house & it's too expensive.

The interior is open, bright and clean...the workers must do a good job cleaning up regularly after their guests. I struggle digesting fatty ground beef so I opted for their fish combo with fries and a drink. My wife ordered chicken strips with toast and fries. She almost ordered breakfast food which they offer all day. The counter service was very friendly. We found an open booth and they have many condiments available. Unfortunately, our food was bland. The fish batter has no flavor (better than super salty but barely) and my fries were tasteless. My wife's chicken strips were pressed and looked decent but again no flavor. Maybe we ordered the wrong items but first impression was plain Jane. As everything else was favorable I'll likely try this place again and get a burger or chicken sandwich. I will also check Yelp to see if others rave about any entrees here.

As long as you freeze them fresh (same day) you are golden! I brought these home (a lot of them lol) like 3 weeks ago and we are still enjoying them! Pull them out the night before to thaw out in the fridge or you can wrap in foil completely and put in air fryer on bake at 325° (from frozen) for like 10 mins or so....enough time to be able to cut open. Toast them and enjoy with whatever you like :-p they are just like having them freshly baked! Service is GREAT! Everyone is so nice! We love to support family owned businesses and esp those that are friendly, hard working, and deeelicious! The bagel shop is small and clean. A few tables outside and a small bar/counter right to left as you walk in. Everything we've tried is yummy! Can't go wrong! Thank you to all the workers here (sorry I don't know everyone's name)....esp Sam, John, Lenny, Leo, and Emma!!!!!! With love from California! Congrats to the NY Knicks on an incredible win!

My biggest tip: order ahead for pickup because this place is always packed. It's clearly a local favorite, and once you try it, you'll understand why. Great food, great service, and definitely worth planning ahead for. We'll keep coming back!
