We're getting to that time of year where walking outside is akin to sticking your head into a preheated oven and no amount of serums, lotions, and Medicube routines in the world can stop your glass skin from turning into molten glass. Ack! It's day three of staying indoors, eating a horse's trough worth of salad daily, and I need a change of pace. Hot foods and turning on the stove just doesn't sound good so room temperature tacos from Del Taco it is! Three snack tacos and a cold Coca Cola is just what I need. In the world where most eateries have a handy dandy app, Del Taco makes it easy. Order on app and pick-up in the drive-thru. No complaints. read more

Food is good, but this establishment doesn't have AC. It's also not kept up like other establishments I feel bad for the employees that have to be here cause if it's hot in the dining room then it's worst in the back If the manager that's on duty noticed the AC not working why put the employees thru it. It's not right to have the employees working in such a condition read more

zero stars for this place---not because of the loyal employees or the food quality---but because of the owner!!!! the a/c unit was out yesterday---send your employees home and YOU work in that miserable place!!!! had to be 120 in the front. close the store if you cant get it fixed right away!!!! 3 employees, empty dining room, drive thru empty. I stood at counter for 5 minutes. Not acknowledged, not greeted. I listened to the employees speaking Spanish only and only to each other. I'd have been happy with a "Hola". I watched one of the two women pick up her clear plastic glass of coke and drink it as she looked right at me over the cup. Continued to wait, decided my money was more important to me than this. Left. I listened to their laughing as I pushed open the door. I will never return. read more

Visiting Son, arrived later in evening and needed something to eat. Was not feeling Wendy's so gave Del Taco a shot. Based on this visit we think we will stick with Taco Bell. You definitely can tell Ownership/Managers do not really care or invest into this location. Food was okay, but the appearance of the interior of restaurant overall was dirty, floors sticky, tables , the bathroom was terrible. I know it us fast food, but you can tell when an organization cares at least a little about image. This one does not. The positive - Neither one of us had stomach issues later so some fears did not materialize. read more

I would give ZERO stars if possible. I asked the man in drive through the difference between the Spicy Grilled Chicken Burrito And the Classic Grilled Chicken Burrito and his reply was "You're asking the wrong person because I don't eat the stuff here " Clearly he missed the training day to learn the Del Taco products. Very poor service. read more

Del Taco 1035 S Arizona Ave, Chandler AZ 85286 December 28, 2021 Taco Tuesday - 12:45 PM for lunch 7 Adults & a kid Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 4 stars Background - A family member's holiday time is ending as he is heading home today via the Phoenix Mesa airport.  He wanted Del Taco for lunch as they do not have them in North Dakota.  This location was on the way to the airport for us. Atmosphere - Cookie cutter Del Taco.  Tile floors for easy clean up and vibrate colors fill the place.  Order at the register and they take your name and call you when the food is ready. Food Lunch - It is taco Tuesday so I went with the classic here Del Taco, standard ground beef, cheese and a sprinkling of diced tomatoes.  I did forget to order the soft shells.  The tacos were simple and on point. Side - My favorite reason for visiting a Del Taco is their crinkle cut French fries.  I know not very Mexican or Tex-Mex food item but they nail them here.  I ordered the large for myself and they were spot on!! Service - Simple and fast.  Order at the register, they take your name here.  When you food is ready they call your name.  While placing my order for my tacos she did not ask if I wanted hard or soft shell, this is also my fault for not stating I wanted the soft.  She did try to up sale me with churros. Future - Yes or any other location when a quick meal is needed. read more

I visited this place first time for breakfast and I found 2 staffs busy on drive thru and dine in , I think you should have one more staff .. counter staff should learn to treat the customers equally everyone which ever racial they belongs too , you may get much good review and business here . When I asked for Mayo she is busy chatting me with someone after I wait she is giving me hot sauce and no smile or greeting at all . But there was a customer who started speaking on her own language the service was turned out more Effectively. Hope I'm not exaggerating here just let you the experience I faced and I too in too same business .. read more

Another typical fast food franchise. It would be special if there is a fast food franchise that is different and out of the ordinary. This location is not it. Del Taco will taste the same at all there locations. Service, what do you expect? When their managers are not even properly trained. How can you expect their customer service to be satisfactory. Not going to happen! So, there you go. Just another ordinary fast food facility. read more

Service is awful at the Del Taco located on 1035 S Arizona Ave in Chandler. Some employees seem like they really have attitude! It's simple, if you don't have a personality and don't like people don't get into retail where you have to deal with people. I feel like Del Taco really needs to work on customer service with there employees. read more

If I cod give a no stars, I would. This place is never ready in the morning. I've been there and stood for 10 min while no one has taken my order. I've ordered online 15 mins ahead of time and they weren't even aware I had an order when I arrived. This will be my last time coming to this location. read more

I've lived in the area for 7 months now and i honestly don't know why i keep thinking this place will change, or get better. I don't know who runs this place, but DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. This is the worst fast food place I've been to in year tbh. And they're holding first place! Every single time i have visited this location something is wrong. They're closed early. They're "system is down" so they can't take orders. If they can, it can be upwards of 20-30 min wait time for only 2-3 cars in the drive thru. Half the time you sit in front of the speaker box clueless wondering if they're open this time or if they aren't. And the employees are never apologetic or seem to care. The food has always been good. But it's not worth the terrible customer service and wait times. This place needs to get it together, or close already! read more

I have been coming here for years. I don't understand why they can't comprehend what I'm ordering. I specifically asked for something and she repeated 4-5 times. I repeated them 4-5 times back. I told her the always do this and please kindly make sure it's in there. I even brought it up at the window. She repeated it At. The. Window. I paid which was too overpriced for side items. She brought the bags and again some items missing. I waited for a while for her to come back. And asked for them. Again. Now I'm home I look in the bag and open the food. Instead of what I asked extra for they decided to completely take the item out. No receipt no way to contact. I'm in dialysis I can't keep leaving and picking up food plus a toddler who wanted her food. I never leave bad reviews. Big this place is horrible. You pay what you get for but today I paid a lot for what I DIDNT order! read more

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this Del Taco was open to eat in dining. Then the server explained burritos were 2 for $5 and you could mix or match your choice of burritos. PERFECTO!! We will definitely go back to try those read more

Ordered on the app and got there at 7:45am but the doors were still locked. Sign on door said inside opens at 7:30am. So, I went through the drive through where the sign said inside opens at 7:00am. Anyways, the manager had an attitude and obviously doesn't like her job. I ate in my car and wrote this review. Food was good as usual. read more

ZERO STARS DESERVED!!!! I'm not sure what is going on at this location. I think the owner has completely checked out. I was in drive thru last night at 6:50pm and waited at the speaker for 15 minutes. Finally someone says "we are out of beans" WHAT??!! Are you serious? Saturday night at almost 7 o'clock?! I've been to this restaurant a few times and employees are always Nonchalant about there job--sitting on the counter looking at their phones, moving super slow, dressing inappropriately. I think they need to keep some kind of management in this store at night, because clearly they are lacking ANY leadership. read more

This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's efficient and sometimes it's not. Sometimes the staff is friendly and sometimes they're not...kinda like a relationship you know isn't working but you keep going because it's convenient. Above all else, fast-food should be quick and consistent. It's not like they're making everything made-to-order. We're not coming here for a 5-star dining experience (nor are we expecting it). However, we are coming here to get our quick fix from something a little better than a food truck. read more

I had the Fish Taco Platos, it came with refried beans with red sauce and cheese, white rice topped with pico de gallo, and two fish tacos. The two pieces of fish were fried and topped with tomatoes, cabbage and lime, I ordered my fish tacos with a flour tortilla, but I'm pretty sure it actually comes on corn tortillas. The meal was tastier than the normal fast food fare, and the price was affordable. You can't go wrong if you're in the mood for fish tacos, and a Del Taco is near you. read more

I keep trying to give this del taco a chance but they always let me down. This is the third time I've been disappointed. I won't be going back. The beans are always old like they've been sitting all day from the cook not wanting to make fresh beans. Meat sort of taste like dog food maybe because it's been sitting. And the food is always a mess once you open the wrappers read more

I was having a craving and decided to stop in for a bite because the food was always pretty good. This time, the food was ok but the service was the worst! When I pulled in, there were 2 cars in front of me in the drive thru. I waited almost 10 min before my turn to order (mistake 1). Had to wait another 5 minutes just sitting at the speaker with several cars behind me (mistake 2). Finally, a voice came on and took my order. I gave my order, then proceeded forward to the pick up window and waited a few more minutes before anyone approached. Some guy finally walks up and takes my payment (mistake 3) , then immediately says "I need you to pull around front and wait for me to bring your food out." Reluctantly I didn't ask for a refund (mistake 4), then went to the front and waited, (mistake 5) and waited, and waited... I was about to go in and find my food, but the guy comes out with it right at the same time. Total time to get that quick bite was about 25 minutes at a place with only 2 cars in front of me. In all, I was just looking for a quick stop at an old favorite. Now, I dont think I can ever go back again. Service is everything and so easy to do! read more

I realize it's Del Taco, but the last 3x I've been here it hasn't been busy, maybe one or two cars in the drive through, no on in the facility. My order has been wrong each time, the first two times I let it slide I'm scared they'll do something to my food, but the third time, I was 100% clear when I ordered, I even repeated to be safe, and it was still wrong, and they act like they're busy each time so they are always seeming to be in a hurry. No matter where you work, take pride in your job! If you don't want to find another one where you can! I would rather drive the extra miles just to get my order correct. It's the team that works the night shift. read more

0 stars... I went to this location on February 1st at 12:40am. They do not close until 1:00, but no one took our order. We waited for 10 minutes and nothing happened. Shame on you guys for having the wrong hours. Just lost a long term customer I drove here because you said you were open

Says it opens at 8:00am. It is locked. I waited till after 9:00am and tried again but still locked. I'm in a vehicle with a trailer so no, I can't "use the drive thru." Poor management or lazy workers? Probably a combination of both. Obviously no corporate interest in improving. read more

We had a party of 5...3 adults two small kids . 1st thing we walked into a very wet floor with no caution sigh. I asked from the entrance if the dinning room was still open and they looked confused why I'd ask. We were only ones in line and there was a couple who had already been served. It took us 20 mins, their excuse was they needed to make Fries. Half of our meal had been sitting there getting soggy. When I was waiting I noticed a female in the back barley starting the kids meal quesadilla . She had no uniform, and kept pulling up her jeans to avoid exploding her mid and lower body. I notice her pull so.thin off the quesadilla machine and she looked grossed out and tossed whatever it was, and she turned and quickly turned again after she saw me watching her .Both females working didn't properly tie their hair. One had beautiful hair past her hips just flying aroundm. The other had her untrammedd curls in the way. Then they had to ask me how many kids meals did I order . Just One customer came in and got his order with fries as we were still waiting. When we finally got our entire meal because they chose to let it sit it was soggy and unappetizing. Then about 5 feet away from our table was roaches . Thank goodness the 2 lil ones didn't want to eat. Us 3 adults didn't finish our meals either. It was a very slow and dirty del taco. This was 2nd time I went in, 1st time took me 30 mins to get 2 tacos and fries on a Wednesday after 9pm. Never again in this location. read more

While the customer service was great and the food was good as always, I did recommend to the manager on duty to pour some water down the floor drain in the men's restroom on a weekly basis to prevent the strong odor of sewer gas from filling the air in the small restroom. I walked into the restroom and about gagged with the odor of sewer gas. I'm sure the same is true for the women's restroom as well. With time, the trap primers tend to fail and you have this problem. Hopefully Del Taco ownership will address this issue before the odor migrates into the kitchen. Might be a good idea to pour water into the floor drains in the kitchen as well. read more
